Magic is the art of discovering the invisible world where to operate and evolve.
This is from teacher Linda Qiu in New York About Self, according to Dr. Pang's theory: Mental activities, in essence, is the product of a unique energy being which can be called Yi Yuan Ti. Its center is the center of the brain, it is inside the brain, and outside the brain in the whole body, and in the space outside the body. Its physical foundation is the neurons, especially brain cells. Neurons’ physical chemical and biological activities are its foundation but it also has a certain level of independence and can affect the neurons. Every visible object is the cumulative state of its energy, and around the visible object there is some invisible energy. The Yi Yuan Ti is formed by the energy of the neurons, especially the brain cells, merging into one being. It is the holistic structure containing all the neurons of the nervous system and their energy. The Yi Yuan Ti of a person contains all information of one’s life activities. After birth during the development of a child, when Yi Yuan Ti’s activity establishes connection with other parts of the body to function and keep its independence while interacting with external things, this being is Self. Self is the master of life activities, can perceive the external world and oneself including Yi Yuan Ti’s movement as well as itself, can interact with all other beings in the universe, and can function independently in a certain range. The frame of reference we formed in life is a model for the self to function and is not the essential self. The Yi Yuan Ti with its function to receive, process, and transmit information is the essential self. The frame of reference can not be denied its importance for self. Only through following certain model can the Yi Yuan Ti perform its function and interact with external things. As the essential self, Yi Yuan Ti’s function and activity can not be completely separated from the frame of reference.
