"Each of us must expect an end of living in this world; let him who may win glory before death: for that is best at last for the departed warrior." - Beowulf

If someone was a beginner to Germanic Religion or just interested in studying it I would tell them to read the Prose Edda, Poetic Edda and Beowulf. I would tell them to watch Survive The Jive and Jackson Crawford videos as well. Just because I disagree with some things about them doesn’t mean they don’t offer valuable info in a good format.

Bloodline defined Germanic legal status.
In Anglo-Saxon society during the 5th to 7th centuries, your entire legal existence was dependent on your family, clan or lord. A person without kin or a sponsor had no legal standing. Strangers were automatically suspicious, Wealh, meaning foreigner or stranger (eventually being the origin of the word Welsh) was used to describe the Native Britons. To be safe a newcomer had to openly declare themselves and intentions and seek protection in a folk-moot. Without these you could be declared as a "Wearg" a wolf-like destructive beast stripped of humanity and allowed to be put down without repercussion. Anglo pagan society was divided into innanbord (Inside tribal hearth and laws) and utanbord (Chaotic lawless wilderness). The Wearg was permanently in the utanbord.

Brief Cicero vs Plato on Theology
Cicero’s arguments are laid out in De Natura Deorum.
Plato argued that the Gods are incorporeal, immaterial and without a physical body. Cicero says that an incorporeal and immaterial God is inconceivable. If a God lacks a physical form completely, it lacks sensation, practical wisdom and the ability to feel pleasure; Traits the Roman Gods are famously tied to.
Cicero accused Plato of being inconsistent. In the Timaeus, Plato asserts that the creator of the universe cannot be named or easily spoken of. Yet elsewhere, Plato adopts a pantheistic view saying that the universe itself, the stars, the earth and the sky are all part of a rational God. He says that the true nature of God would be impossible to understand then in Laws he outlines exactly what parameters should govern worship and the nature of celestial deities. Cicero believed that the tradition of the Roman religion and performing rituals (orthopraxy) was essential in maintaining society and the order of the republic. Plato wanted to transcend the “morally damaging” aspects of Greek mythology by censoring and reforming it. In the Republic, he heavily criticized Homer and Hesiod and even proposed banning the myths. He viewed literal mythology as a distortion of the truth. As a statesman, Cicero believed in the power of traditional Roman religion and strict preservation of such. He was a member of the College of Augurs; a priestly body that interpreted omens and signs from the Gods.

This soy is unintentionally correct. When you become a nationalist, you start researching your history, which leads you to the inevitability of returning to your ancestral religion.

Be proud that you are the first one in your family to break the chains of Abrahamism and return to your native ways. For you and your foreseeable heirs.

Respectful, yet strong disagreement with @thegoldenone on this.
