Dear Colleagues,
Please be on high alert. A fraudster is targeting teachers who were successful in the December 2025 Promotion Aptitude Test.
The individual identifies himself as "Christ" and claims to be an officer at the GES Headquarters.
He contacts successful candidates, claiming that he has processed their promotion with substantial salary arrears. He then requests an upfront payment of GH¢120, promising that the beneficiary will pay an additional 10% of the arrears after the salary is received.
A female teacher has already fallen victim to this scam.
The phone number used by the fraudster is 0246478167.
Please note that GES does not require any payment to process promotions or salary arrears. Do not send money or share your personal or financial information with anyone making such claims.
