የፊታችን መስከረም 17 ቀን የሚከበረውን የመስቀል ደመራ በዓል እና ከመስቀል በዓል በኋላ የሚከበረው የኢሬቻ በዓል ሃይማኖታዊ አውዳቸውንና ባህላዊ ስርዓታቸውን በጠበቀ መልኩ በጋራ በመተባበር፣ በመረዳዳት እና የህብረተሰባችንን ሰላም አስቀድሞ ለማስጠበቅ የሚያስችል አጠቃላይ የማህበረሰብ ውይይት ተካሄዷል።
በመርሃ-ግብሩ ላይ የ2019 ዓ.ም የመስቀል ደመራ እና የኢሬቻ በዓላት አከባበር ማስፈፀሚያ እቅድ ለተሳታፊዎች ግንዛቤ ለመፍጠርና ንቁ ተሳትፎን ለማረጋገጥ “መስቀል እና ኢሬቻ ለሃገራዊ መግባባትና ሰላም” በሚል መሪ ሃሳብ ሰፊ ማብራሪያና ገለፃ ተደርጓል።
በውይይቱ እንደተገለጸው በዓላቱን በድምቀት ማክበር ብቻ ሳይሆን የህብረተሰቡን ሰላም መጠበቅ፣ ባህላዊ እሴቶችን ማሳደግ፣ ከተማችንን ከማናቸውም ስጋቶች ነፃ ማድረግ እና ለሌሎች አርዓያ የሚሆኑ የሰላም ስራዎችን ማከናወን ከእያንዳንዱ ዜጋ የሚጠበቅ ሃላፊነት መሆኑ ተገልጿል።
በመርሃ-ግብሩ ላይ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ከፍተኛ አመራሮች እና የመንግስት ተወካዮች የተገኙ ሲሆን፣ የቀረበውን የውይይት ሃሳብ መሰረት አድርጎ የፓናል ውይይት ተካሂዶበታል። በውይይቱም ማህበረሰባችን አብሮነቱንና ሰላሙን ባረጋገጠ መልኩ በዓላቱን በድምቀት እንዲያከብርና ለሰላም ማስከበሩ ሃላፊነት የበኩሉን እንዲወጣ አቅጣጫ ተቀምጧል።

Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU), in collaboration with the African Digital and Innovation Technology Academy (ADITA), hosted a half-day training entitled “Leading in the Age of AI: Skills, Ethics, and Transformation.”
The training brought together university executives, directors, deans, and heads of Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to explore the opportunities, challenges, and ethical implications of artificial intelligence in leadership and institutional transformation.
The training was officially opened by Dr. Asrat Atsdeweyn, President of AASTU, who emphasized the vital role of AI in our daily activities.
