Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) has achieved a historic milestone in Ethiopia’s scientific and technological development with the successful defense of the country's first Nuclear Reactor Technology postgraduate student trained entirely in Ethiopia.
Wubante Dessie, a postgraduate student at the Nuclear Reactor Technology Center of Excellence (NRT CoE), successfully defended his Master of Science (MSc) thesis in the field of Nuclear Materials, becoming the first Ethiopian to complete advanced studies in Nuclear Reactor Technology through a locally established program.
