| 3 | A US military delegation has arrived in Lebanon to help implement an agreement to end the conflict between Israel and Hizbollah, amid growing concerns in Beirut that the deal is stalling.
Two senior Lebanese officials said a US Central Command delegation had arrived on Friday ahead of talks between Lebanon and Israel in Rome next week, where technical teams are expected to discuss details of the framework agreement signed on June 26. (Financial Times) | 730 |

| 5 | 🔻From Karbala to the End of Sykes-Picot
🔴Funerals are usually held to bid farewell to the deceased; however, sometimes history uses the funeral of a person to bury an idea. Iraq, during the funeral of the martyred Imam, buried one of the most fundamental assumptions of contemporary social sciences.
🔴For nearly a century, modern theorists have claimed that the era of transnational authorities has ended, that the nation-state has replaced the community, and that political borders have redefined collective identities. However, millions of people from dozens of nationalities and languages, gathering under a single banner without any government call, demonstrated that there is still an institution more powerful than borders: the Shia authority.
🔴That day, Sykes-Picot was defeated not by guns and missiles, but by the footsteps of millions of people. Because a border only matters when it can determine a person's loyalty; and when Iraqis, Iranians, Lebanese, Yemenis, Bahrainis, Pakistanis, and others consider themselves, above all, soldiers of an Imam, the borders of colonialism are nothing more than lines on paper.
🔴Perhaps that is why this question still holds a terrifying answer for the enemy: If this body had been buried in Beirut, Damascus, or Jerusalem instead of Iraq, would anything of the Sykes-Picot order remain?

| 6 | 🥀 | O beautiful alleys, turquoise tiles, blessed stones, and sacred walls of Dar al-Dhikr, how fortunate you are to host a man who spent his entire life rejecting worldly comfort, even the rights and comforts that were rightfully his.
O shades, darkness, lights, and floors of this blessed sanctuary, you are now embracing a servant who never knew rest. Day and night, he remained occupied in the service of Islam and its people. Those who knew him remember that, during times of emergency, he would attend twenty to thirty meetings in a single day, never seeking comfort for himself.
O gentle breeze that passes by his holy resting place, carry our salām to him and bring him comfort.
We heard that all of his bones were crushed beneath the bombardment. O Allah, heal him and turn every echo of pain and wailing of visitors into the peace of Paradise.
We heard that he was buried deep beneath the earth. O Allah, heal his skin, illuminate his grave, expand his resting place, and make it a garden from the gardens of Jannah.
We heard that Sayyidah Bushra was buried alive. O Allah, protect her and surround her with Your endless mercy.
We heard that Misbah’s head was split into two. O Allah, heal him and grant him everlasting peace.
We heard that Zahra Haddad was struck directly on the head. O Allah, comfort her, heal her, and raise her among the highest ranks of the martyrs.
We heard that Baby Zahra was buried beneath the rubble of war, and that her body was burned and crushed. O Allah, embrace her with Your infinite mercy, replace every pain with eternal peace, and reunite her with her loved ones in the highest ranks of Jannah.
May Allah illuminate all of their graves, expand their resting places, accept their sacrifice, and grant them the everlasting company of the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous.

On March 6, an Israeli enemy airstrike struck the home of Hassan Saleh in the Al-Thakana neighborhood of the Tyre district. The strike completely destroyed the house, killing eight members of the family who were inside. All were civilians, including three children.
On the afternoon of March 12, another Israeli enemy airstrike demolished the home of Reda Taqi in the village of Arki, in the Sidon district. Seven civilians from the family were killed, including four children, while five other relatives, including a young girl, were injured. The attack, carried out without any warning (as Israel usually claims to be full of killers' warmth by warning people before brutally murdering them), also damaged the neighboring home belonging to Reda Taqi's daughter. It killed her husband and their 12-year-old son, while she and her brother-in-law, both civilians, were wounded.
On the evening of March 13, an Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the Al-Rahibat neighborhood of Nabatieh, killing seven civilians. Among the victims were Qais Basmeh, his wife Blandine Jaber, and their four children, Hassan, Hussein, Abbas, and Helen, aged between seven and sixteen. The strike, launched without prior warning, also killed their neighbor Hussein Mohammad Bitar and injured at least five other civilians in nearby buildings.
These are only a few of the cases that Amnesty International says amount to war crimes committed by Israel in Lebanon. According to the organization, these attacks wiped out entire families, demonstrating an apparent failure (yeah right) to distinguish between civilian and military targets, a fundamental obligation under international humanitarian law.
Amnesty International states that the international community must act immediately by imposing a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel and by using universal and extraterritorial jurisdiction to investigate and prosecute those responsible for these crimes.
Where am I going with all this, which as per the Gaza case, we all already know is nothing but talk and has no meaning on the ground?
Well, Amnesty's findings expose one very important infuriating reality: Lebanon's own political leadership has effectively stripped victims of one of their last remaining avenues for justice. Through the illegal so-called "Framework Agreement" signed in Washington, the Lebanese state relinquished its ability to pursue legal accountability against Zionist Israel for crimes committed on Lebanese territory.
For the Saleh, Taqi, Basmeh, Jaber, Bitar, and countless other families whose loved ones were annihilated, justice has now been made even more distant. Amnesty itself warns that there are growing concerns that the agreement could become "another barrier to justice," depriving victims of meaningful avenues for accountability and effectively entrenching impunity for unlawful attacks.
"President" Joseph Aoun and "Prime Minister" Nawaf Salam bear direct political responsibility for endorsing this framework. Instead of defending Lebanon's sovereign right to seek justice for its murdered civilians before international courts, their government chose a path that shields the perpetrators from legal scrutiny. By signing an agreement that effectively waives Lebanon's ability to pursue accountability, they have not only failed the victims of these massacres but have also abandoned one of the most fundamental duties of any state: to defend the rights of its citizens and demand justice for crimes committed against them.
Remember very well though... history will judge those who surrendered legal accountability just as surely as it judges those who committed the atrocities themselves. | 1 460 |

| 17 | Unofficially, the numbers are almost too vast to fathom:
· Tehran — 15 million souls, pouring into the streets with grief and reverence
· Qom — 7 million more, their mourning a river of devotion
· Iraq — 11 million, crossing borders and hearts to honor him
· Mashhad — 10 million, gathered at the threshold of eternity
In total: 43 million people.
Forty-three million hearts, breaking together. Forty-three million hands raised in prayer. A farewell so immense it defies comprehension—yet still, even that number feels small when measured against the magnitude of who we have lost.

| 20 | The irony is almost beyond satire: Julani and Shibani proudly pose with a signed decree from Donald Trump declaring Syria removed from the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism, despite Julani having led Jabhat al-Nusra, an organization long designated as a terrorist group by the U.S. itself and many other governments. If there were ever a definition of geopolitical hypocrisy, this would be it: yesterday's "terrorist" becomes today's photo opportunity, not because history changed, but because political interests did. | 1 471 |
