According to confirmed reports, the 41 scholars who were arrested were subjected to brutal torture. They were beaten one by one, humiliated one by one, stripped naked, and none of them were spared. From 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM each day, their hands were tied behind their backs, their faces were covered, and they were left to endure repeated beatings and humiliation. Police officers reportedly spat in their faces, while revered religious figures and sanctities, including Fatima al Zahra (S), Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (A), Imam Hasan (A), and Imam Husayn (A), were insulted with abusive language.
According to the same reports, one of the most shocking aspects of their detention came after the torture, when prepared statements were placed before the scholars and they were ordered to sign them. When they refused, they were allegedly threatened with sexual assault if they did not comply.
A growing number of Bahraini youths and protesters have taken to the streets in protest. We urge all Shia, other Muslims and all people of conscience around the world to reach out to Bahraini embassies in their respective countries, submit formal protests, and join this global campaign.

While bombs were still falling across Lebanon, these volunteers undertook one of the most painful yet essential tasks imaginable: documenting the lives of more than 700 Lebanese babies and children killed by Israeli enemy attacks on Lebanon since 2023. Behind every name is a face, an age, a village, a family, and a future that was stolen. Many more cases are still being verified and will soon be added.
Their work has now become a permanent digital archive through www.habbat.org, (which will be available in English language starting next week), preserving the names, photographs, ages, and hometowns of every child so that they are never reduced to statistics, never forgotten, and never erased from history.
This initiative is not merely an act of remembrance. It is an act of resistance against oblivion. It ensures that, even as political agreements attempt to close the chapter without accountability, the truth remains documented for generations to come.
The tragedy is made all the more painful by the fact that, under Point 13 of the illegal so-called framework agreement with the zionist occupation, the Lebanese authorities effectively abandoned any pursuit of legal accountability against Zionist Israel before international human rights bodies for the crimes committed against civilians in Lebanon. When institutions fail to preserve justice, it falls upon the people to preserve memory.

📌 Tehran, IRNA – The Deputy Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Navy, Rear Admiral Faramarz Bemani, says the attack on the Dena destroyer exposed the enemy’s fear of Iran’s growing naval capabilities and international standing.
“Targeting of the Dena destroyer is a testament to the enemy’s fear of Iran’s naval power and its achievements on the international stage, because this destroyer is a symbol of indigenous capability, self-belief, and the will of the Iranian people,” Bemani said Wednesday at the 27th basic combat training course for national elites, held at Army Ground Forces Martyrs Training Center in Tehran.
“Dena destroyer and port vessel Makran, by circumnavigating the globe, demonstrated the naval power of the Islamic Republic of Iran and, despite sanctions, conveyed Iran’s message of peace, capability, and independence to the world,” he said.
He described the mission of Naval Fleet 86 as one of Iran’s greatest sources of pride.
The deputy commander emphasized that enemies target the strong points of the Islamic Republic, and the targeting of the Dena destroyer indicates the enemy’s fear of Iran’s maritime power and its achievements internationally.
Turning to the role of youth, he said their contribution to the Revolution’s goals was central.
He outlined the Navy’s history from ancient Iranian seafaring traditions to its current mandate, noting it now guards territorial waters, the Sea of Oman, the Indian Ocean, and the Caspian Sea in coordination with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Navy.
He said that during the first 67 days of the eight-year imposed war, the Army Navy destroyed much of the Iraqi Ba’athist regime’s naval capacity and went on to escort thousands of commercial vessels and oil tankers to prevent economic disruption.
Bemani said Iran today is among a small number of countries capable of independently designing and building destroyers, missiles, drones, and advanced naval equipment, the result of work by domestic specialists, universities, and knowledge-based companies.
Closing his remarks, Bemani invited elites to join the Navy’s scientific and defense development path.
“The future of Iran will be built by elite youth, and the Army Navy welcomes their scientific and research capacity for developing new technologies and strengthening the country’s defense capabilities,” he said.
The Navy participated in the Armed Forces Achievements Exhibition for conscript elites with 14 booths, displaying research projects and technologies including electronic warfare systems, phased-array radars, radar-evading composite equipment, drone and quadcopter systems, training simulators, and water purification equipment.
