for those asking, yes, hackios will go public once we're done rewriting, fixing and polishing the code.
we're literally trying to get real ios running on android hardware. no launchers, no skins, no fake ios-looking android roms. we're talking about actual ios.
and yeah, hackios will be 100% free. no paywalls, no paid builds, no premium access. just pure development.
another thing is that anyone will be able to adapt our uefi implementation to their own device. we're not planning to lock this down to a few specific phones. if you've got the skills and compatible hardware, you'll be able to work on bringing hackios to your device.
if we actually pull this off, it could be a first in history. we're trying to make something that nobody has managed to fully achieve on this scale before.
this isn't some random weekend project. we're talking months of low-level development, debugging, reverse engineering and dealing with stuff that was never supposed to work together.

| 14 |  Apple to launch first touch-screen MacBook on October 27
Apple is planning a launch around October 27, which will include the first ever touch-screen MacBook, a new iPad Mini, and versions of the 14-inch MacBook Pro and iMac with M6 chips.
The new touchscreen MacBook Pro models, codenamed K114 and K116, will reportedly use M5 Pro and M5 Max chips and offer tandem OLED display. It will feature a Dynamic Island instead of the traditional notch.
The MacBook Pros with M6 chip, code-named J804 and J833, will look like their current versions. The new iPad mini will also include an OLED screen, and a videoconferencing camera that moves to the landscape side.
