2	+1 Hello there! I'd like to show you what I've been working on for the past 8 hours. This is a cert exploit that our device (among many others) is vulnerable to. With this exploit, we can practically modify the LK (Little Kernel) also known as the bootloader to enable/disable features with the usage of fenrir. I have modified the bootloader string from MBM -> NIG (yes I did that intentionally, it's funny). Moreover I have disabled image authentication verification which verifies all the firmware partitions and I disabled the most annoying feature of all: Preflash validation check. With these modifications, I was able to have a custom bootloader version string, I was able to boot a custom boot logo, I was able to flash partitions in bootloader and the best part of all, I WAS ABLE TO BOOT OSS DTBO! 4	+2 A user asked the Nothing Team about the UI inconsistency between Phone 2 and Phone 4a when both of them run on the same Nothing OS 4.1 and their response is .... "The UI difference you've noticed is intentional. The card-based Settings UI was designed specifically for newer devices like the Phone (4a) to leverage their advanced hardware capabilities and provide a more modern user experience". The Nothing Phone 2 has Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is more powerful than the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 that powers the Nothing Phone 4a. Still, the Phone 4a will get a better card design UI simply due to advanced hardware capabilities and provide a more modern user experience.
