🔴 The zionist occupation authorities transferred journalist and prisoner Bushra Al-Taweel from "Damon" prison to isolation in "Ramle" prison six months into her administrative detention, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Society. Originally from Al-Bireh and 31 years old, Bushra Al-Taweel is a freelance journalist who works for several Palestinian media outlets, specializing in reporting on the situation of prisoners. On February 6, 2026, she was arrested by the occupation forces while passing through the Ain Sina checkpoint, north of Ramallah, and was subsequently placed in administrative detention six days later. Three months ago, her detention has been renewed for an additional four months. This is the eighth time that the Zionist regime has imprisoned Bushra Al-Taweel. She was imprisoned in 2011 (and later released as part of the Wafaa al-Ahrar prisoner exchange), in 2014, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2024 (when she was once again released as part of the Toufan al-Ahrar prisoner exchange). In total, throughout her successive imprisonments, Bushra Al-Taweel has spent 55 months in colonial prisons. In 2020, when she was imprisoned, she told her family that she would launch a hunger strike to secure her release. Her father, Jamal Al-Taweel, who had spent more than 15 years in Zionist prisons and is a prominent figure in the resistance in the West Bank, learned the news. He was also being detained at the time and decided to go on hunger strike in her place to prevent her from putting her health at risk. After refusing food for 29 days, Jamal Al-Taweel succeeded in securing his daughter’s release. He is still being held in colonial prisons; he has lost approximately 30 kg and his health has seriously deteriorated. It is her journalistic work focusing on the situation of prisoners, as well as her family’s political affiliation, that has led to continued harassment by the occupation forces. 🇵🇸 Wael Nawar in hunger strike for 15 days : Freedom for the activists imprisoned in Tunisia for their support for Palestine! Four pro-Palestinian activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla have been imprisoned in Tunisia for almost seven months. The requests for release filed by three of them, Ghassan el-Henchiri, Nabil Chennoufi and Wael Nawar, were denied. - Wael Nawar is actually in hunger strike for 15 days (he launched his strike on august 16th) and was arrested on March 6, 2026. As a student, he became involved in the General Union of Tunisian Students. His left-wing political commitment and activism within Tunisia’s social movements led to his imprisonment and torture in Ben Ali’s prisons, from which he was only released after the Tunisian Revolution. Following the fall of the regime, he continued his activism and played a central role in the student movement, eventually becoming Secretary-General of the General Union of Tunisian Students. He participated in the formation of several left-wing groups and organizations in Tunisia. He joined the Global Sumud Flotilla and sailed aboard the Deir Yassine, took part in the launch of the Sumud Land Convoy, and is a member of both the international and Maghreb steering committees of the GSF. - Ghassan Boughdiri is a left-wing and pro-Palestinian activist who was sentenced to seven months in prison following a protest action against Maersk, a global shipping company involved in the genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza by the Zionist army. An activist for the Palestinian cause in Tunisia, he has taken part in numerous campaigns against normalization. He was notably a member of the steering committee of the Global Sumud Flotilla, organized the Sumud Land Convoy, and participated in various cultural initiatives such as the Béja Amateur Film Festival. - Ghassan el-Henchiri was arrested on March 6, 2026. A left-wing and pro-Palestinian activist, he is a member of the Socialist Democratic Patriotic Party, whose Political Bureau he has been part of since 2020. He has also been active within the al-Watad student organization and the Socialist Democratic National Movement. He also contributed to the founding of the national democratic youth organization “Kifah.” In 2025, he joined the Global Sumud Flotilla. - Nabil Chennoufi was arrested on March 6, 2026. An engineer specializing in the agri-food industry, he is a long-standing pro-Palestinian activist. He played a central role in launching the Sumud Land Convoy and was part of the Global Sumud Flotilla, following which he was imprisoned in Zionist prisons. The continued lack of information about the fate of detainees constitutes an ongoing crime that requires accountability. On the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, Palestinian prisoners’ institutions affirm that the Israeli occupation authorities continue, for the third consecutive year, to use “enforced disappearance” as a systematic policy against thousands of Palestinian detainees from the Gaza Strip who were arrested during the years of the crime of genocide. 🔴 Palestinian Prisoners Society : Ben-Gvir’s raid on the women prisoners’ section at “Damon” prison exposes a continuing policy of turning crimes, genocide, and the destruction of Palestinian human beings into political spectacle 30 August 2026 – Ramallah The raid by extremist National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir on the women prisoners’ section at “Damon” Prison, along with filming the prisoners and publishing footage from inside the section, constitutes a continuation of a systematic policy targeting male and female prisoners and turning their suffering, violations of their rights, and the ongoing genocide into material for political spectacle and propaganda. Ben-Gvir’s actions go beyond inciting rhetoric against prisoners to constitute actual incitement to humiliate and abuse them, and to turn prisons into arenas for political spectacle, in an attempt to gain support within Israeli society by boasting about the persecution of male and female prisoners. The photographs and videos published by the occupation prison system, including footage released by Ben-Gvir, reflect only a small fraction of the reality of systematic torture and abuse inside prisons and detention camps. Specialized organizations have documented hundreds of testimonies concerning these practices since the beginning of the crime of genocide, both through legal teams and testimonies from released prisoners. The documented testimonies have revealed widespread practices of beatings, humiliation, starvation, deprivation of medical care, and isolation. They have also included forcing prisoners during repression operations to keep their heads and faces pressed against the ground, in a practice intended to humiliate them and degrade their human dignity. Testimonies from prisoners have also included accounts of Ben-Gvir’s practices during his visits to prisons, including stepping on prisoners’ heads and filming acts of their humiliation and abuse. With regard to the women prisoners, we stressed that Ben-Gvir’s raid on their section and filming of them took place amid harsh conditions imposed on them by the occupation prison administration, and amid escalating policies of isolation, restrictions, and deprivation of basic rights. This has turned “Damon” Prison into one of the most prominent sites of humiliation and psychological and physical destruction. Ben-Gvir’s insistence on filming these practices and publishing them reveals a deliberate attempt to normalize scenes of humiliation and torture and turn them into a political achievement. This reflects an unprecedented level of brutality and disregard for human dignity, and confirms that what is taking place inside occupation prisons is part of a broader system of crimes against prisoners and detainees. The occupation prison system has become one of the most prominent arenas of the crime of genocide, which has resulted in the deaths of more than one hundred prisoners and detainees since the beginning of the crime. The identities of 91 of them have been announced, while the occupation authorities continue to withhold the bodies of a number of those who died and conceal the fate of others. We called on the international community and international human rights institutions to assume their responsibilities regarding what male and female prisoners are subjected to, put an end to the state of impunity that enables the occupation to continue its crimes, and hold accountable those responsible for policies of torture and abuse, foremost among them Ben-Gvir, who continues to turn prisoners into material for incitement and political spectacle. These scenes also send a message to the world that he intends to continue his crimes and that, in his view, none of the human values embodied in the international human rights system have any value.

I find solace in knowing that our duty, if we emerge alive from this war, is to live up to the responsibility, to give strength to those around us, and to remain faithful to those who sacrificed themselves and fell as martyrs. Yesterday, August 29, 2026, we commemorated the second anniversary of the martyrdom of resistance fighter Abu Shujaa. 🇵🇸 Today, August 30th, is the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the nation's and Izz El-Din Al Qassam Brigades spokesman, the martyr commander, Hudhaiafa Al-Kahlout, "Abu Obeida". Glory to the martyr Abu Obeida, the voice of the people and the nation, and to all the martyrs of Palestine, may their memory be a compass and an inspiration to continue the struggle until total liberation, from the river to the sea, the return of the refugees and the liberation of all our prisoners.

Freedom for the Jordanian prisoners incarcerated in Zionist colonial prisons! For more than a quarter of a century, the issue of Jordanian prisoners and Jordanian nationals held in Zionist prisons has remained a blind spot. According to the latest statistics, 17 Jordanian prisoners are currently being held in the occupation’s prisons: - 4 have been sentenced to life imprisonment. - 8 are serving sentences ranging from 3 to 36 years in prison. - 5 prisoners remain in pre-trial detention. At the same time, other activists supporting the Palestinian cause are being held in the prisons of the kingdom, which has harshly repressed mobilizations and initiatives in solidarity with the Palestinian resistance over the past three years, even though a large majority of the kingdom’s inhabitants are Palestinians who became refugees as a result of the successive attacks and expansion of the Zionist colonial entity. Alongside these Jordanian prisoners and their Palestinian brothers, Syrian prisoners and around 36 Lebanese prisoners are also being held in the occupation’s prisons.

The Jordanian prisoner Anas Hassan Sharman, 35, has been held in Israeli prisons since March 15, 2024, without having been sentenced. His family reported that his health has deteriorated due to his type 1 diabetes and irregular access to medication, as well as scabies, severe tooth pain, and a weight loss of approximately 25 kilograms.

Following their deadly operation, the occupation forces arrested the mother of martyr Qais al-Bitawi during a raid on a displaced persons’ camp near the American University, south of Jenin. 🚨 Committee of Families of Political Detainees: — The Committee of Families of Political Detainees demands the immediate release of political detainee Motaz Al-Bitawi, brother of the pursued martyr Qais Al-Bitawi, who was martyred yesterday in an assassination operation carried out by the "israeli" army in Jenin. The committee affirms that political detainee Motaz Al-Bitawi has been detained by the Security Committee in Junaid Prison since 07/02/2024. The committee condemns in the strongest terms the Authority's security services' continued detention of him and their obstinacy in refusing to release him, despite the issuance of an official and judicial decision for his release on 09/02/2025. The committee affirms that Motaz's arrest originally came within the context of pressure from the Authority's services to push his pursued brother, the martyr Qais, to surrender himself or reveal any information about him, coinciding with the ascension of the heroic martyr Qais Al-Bitawi in a cowardly assassination operation carried out by the "israeli" army in Jenin yesterday. 🇵🇸 Tribute to the Martyrs of Jenin: Qais al-Bitawi (22), Basel al-Turkman (26), and Moumin Jaradat (22) Yesterday, three Palestinian resistance fighters were assassinated in a drone strike carried out by the occupation forces in the Harosh al-Saada forest, Jenin. Qais al-Bitawi, 22, was being pursued by the Zionist army and the security services of the collaborating Palestinian Authority. Several members of his family, including his father, his uncle, and his sister, Hala al-Bitawi, had been arrested the previous week in order to put pressure on him and force him to surrender. One of his brothers is currently being held in Zionist prisons, while another, Motaz al-Bitawi, has been detained in al-Junaid prison by the PA security services since February 7, 2024, despite a release order issued on February 9, 2025. Qais himself had escaped several assassination and arrest attempts during the course of the manhunt against him. The occupation forces had also demolished and burned his brother’s home, the family home, and his mother’s sewing workshop, as well as repeatedly raiding the residence to which his mother, sister, and his brother’s wife had subsequently been displaced. Sources indicate that the security services of the Palestinian Authority pressured residents and relatives of the martyr in order to obtain information about him before passing it on to the Zionist security services, and that they may have been involved in the occupation forces’ operation. Like other martyrs before him, notably Ibrahim al-Nabulsi and his comrades, Qais al-Bitawi was recognized as a member of their brigades by several factions: the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement. This embodied the determination of a new generation to fight the occupation without being affiliated with a single faction, drawing on multiple avenues of resistance in a West Bank suffocated by the massive presence of brigades and units of the Zionist genocidal army, supplemented by settler militias. These multiple affiliations illustrate a dynamic initiated by the generation of Jamil al-Amouri, for whom the unity of the resistance fronts and forces is an essential principle that enabled the resistance to reconstitute itself in the West Bank beginning in 2021. In their statement, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades highlighted Qais al-Bitawi’s participation in several of their operations in the Jenin Governorate, including one carried out using an explosive device that reportedly wounded several soldiers and officers of the Zionist genocidal army, one of them critically.
