Repost from Global Sumud Flotilla
We stand together with Palestine and all those taking action in solidarity. Together we can defeat the war machine and imagine a world built on justice not on violence and profiteering. People must always come before profit.
Crow, Daniel, Leandra, Vi and Zo entered Elbit Systems in Ulm on Sept 8, 2025. What happens to them will shape what solidarity is allowed to look like in Germany. Germany protects its arms industry while those who tried to stop it face years behind bars.

A freed prisoner, a leader, a fighter, a martyr.
Yahya Sinwar refused but to ascend in his own way, clashing until the last moment, donning a military vest and kuffiyeh. He ascended to martyrdom on the front lines in Rafah, in an armed clash in which the IOF admitted a soldier was wounded.
While all the global forces of evil demanded Yahya's head, he made them work for it. In their rage, they searched for him for over a year, stumbling upon him in the end only by chance, where all the intelligence in the world had failed. But Yahya, Abu Ibrahim, was not hiding in tunnels, nor surrounded by captives, nor was he surrounded by Palestinian civilians, despite the unforgivable claims in the zionist, Western, and zionist Arab media. No, he stood above ground, fighting for his people and with his people, suffering and starving as they did.
Next to him were simple items: Mentos mints, Islamic books, ID cards, and a pistol. Yet, this was not any pistol; it was the pistol of an IOF officer seized during the heroic Edge of the Sword operation in which the IOF failed to infiltrate Khan Younis in 2018 and martyr Sheikh Nour Baraka ascended.
He became the first leader of a Palestinian faction to have ascended in a zero-distance armed clash, offering his precious and most valuable to launch the blessed Flood out of a deep love and care for his people. Through sacrifice, Yahya changed the world, demanding his people be liberated. In Glorious October, Yahya was born on the 29th, liberated from prison on the 18th, launched the Flood on the 7th, and ascended on the 16th.
A shell was fired. Yahya lived. Another shell—Yahya lived.
A drone came. Yahya lived. A sniper shot him in the head.
Yahya lived.
يحيى في كل القلوب يحيا
Yahya, you live in every heart.

Repost from Samidoun Madrid
An Iconic Testimony
On October 16, 2024, the news arrived that refuted all the occupation's propaganda, which had been ongoing for months, about leaders hiding in tunnels. The army was surprised to find that its soldiers were engaged in an armed clash with Abu Ibrahim, who was martyred, his pure blood staining the soil of Tel Sultan in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The image that the occupation army broadcast, showing Sinwar from a drone camera, captured the imagination of millions: a wounded fighter facing the drone with a stick. He was sitting, his tired face covered with a Palestinian keffiyeh, and when the drone approached him, he threw a stick at it, a moment that embodied his philosophy: "Resistance until the last breath."
The image quickly became a global icon, and even the occupation's media had to acknowledge the courage of the moment. Some wrote, "This is how heroes die," while others considered it "a living legend of resistance."
While the occupation tried to portray Sinwar's martyrdom as a step towards ending the resistance, his death instead became a new fuel for the flood. The image of his martyrdom solidified his symbolism as a leader of the flood, and an icon of confronting the impossible with a stick.
Sinwar left behind a model of a leader who would not compromise, a leader who combined thought and weapon, prison and the battlefield, the flood and the stick. In Palestinian memory, his name will forever be associated with the triad: the camp, the flood, and the stick.

⭕️ Yahya Sinwar: An Icon of Resistance, His Rifle Pointed Towards Freedom
In a magnificent revolutionary scene, great figures rise in the battles for freedom, stained with their pure blood, clutching their rifles until their last breath. Thus, the commander of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, the martyred leader Yahya Sinwar, "Abu Ibrahim," ascended to the heavens in the city of Rafah, on the front lines, becoming an inspiring revolutionary icon in the journey of our people towards freedom.
This image will remain alive, indeed eternal, in the memory of Palestinians in their march towards freedom and liberation from occupation. Today, on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the commander of the Flood and the great crossing to Palestine, our people recall him, weaving threads of hope for the imminent dawn of freedom.
Sinwar ascended as a martyred, resisting figure in an inspiring revolutionary scene, after launching a new stage of open engagement and confrontation with the occupation. Its repercussions continue in the region, shaping a new landscape written in the blood of its sons for the benefit of its peoples striving for freedom and independence.
Sinwar, and before him the martyrs Abdel Kader Al-Husseini and Azzam Al-Qassam, have passed, but the story of our people has not ended. From Jenin, the land of Al-Qassam, to Rafah, the land of Sinwar, it is a journey of resistance, and the story of a people who weave it with their steadfastness and resistance until the occupation is expelled from all of our Palestinian land.
He was a man who emerged from the Khan Younis refugee camp to lead the Flood on October 7th, and then faced a drone with a stick before ascending as a martyr in Tel Sultan in Rafah.
Between a birth in a refugee camp, years in prisons, and leadership in the political and military spheres at the head of Hamas, "Abu Ibrahim" forged a path that encapsulates the philosophy of resistance: steadfastness until the last breath, and unity that knows no compromise.
Birth in the Camp
Sinwar was born on October 19, 1962, in the Khan Younis refugee camp, after the occupation displaced his family from the city of Majdal in 1948. The camp shaped his early national consciousness.
He studied in schools in Khan Younis and completed his studies at the Islamic University in Gaza, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Arabic language. There, he led student activities, serving as the head of the student council and leading the Islamic Bloc, quickly emerging as a fierce ideologue in student circles.
Years in Prisons
Sinwar first entered prison in 1982, and was arrested again in 1988, receiving four life sentences, of which he served 23 consecutive years.
Prison became a university, where he headed the Supreme Leadership Council of Hamas prisoners. He and his comrades led major hunger strikes in the years 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004. He mastered Hebrew, translated important books from Hebrew, and has written works on politics, security, and literature, including his novel "Thorns and Carnations," which depicted the Palestinian experience after the Setback.
Formation of "Maged"
Sinwar participated in the founding of the first security apparatus of the movement, and in 1986, he contributed to the establishment of the "Maged" security apparatus, which formed the basis of Hamas's security experience.
His writings and literary works, documented within prison, later became a reference for the movement, solidifying his image as a strict organizer capable of formulating a comprehensive system of thought and security.
Ascending to Leadership
After his release in the "Wafa al-Ahraar" prisoner exchange deal in 2011, he married and had three sons. He took on security and military files in the leadership of the movement, and was elected head of its political bureau in Gaza in 2017.
Sinwar successfully addressed many national and other issues, contributed to alleviating the crises in Gaza, and, with Fatah, made tireless efforts to end the division and restore national unity based on the program of resistance.
In his career, Sinwar combined various forms of resistance. He led the March of Return as a tool of peaceful popular resistance starting in 2018, and led repeated military confrontations against the occupation, including the Sword of Jerusalem operation in 2021. He also took on the task of liberating Palestinian prisoners from the occupation's prisons, considering it a national and ethical priority.
In his speeches and interviews, Sinwar presented a vision that sees the world through the lens of power and deterrence. For him, resistance is an existential choice, not a tactic, and the Palestinian people will not be the victims who are killed in silence. He spoke of deterrence through weapons, and of image and memory as weapons no less dangerous. This combination of thought and organization made his actions a theory that chronicles an important stage in the conflict in Palestine.
Al-Aqsa Flood
On October 7, 2023, Sinwar emerged as one of the masterminds behind Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which was considered the most dangerous, largest, and most successful Palestinian military attack against the occupation in decades.
That day marked a new chapter in the conflict, as Abu Ibrahim became a symbol in the Palestinian and global consciousness of a leader who emerges from under siege and turns Israeli security equations upside down.
After the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in July 2024, Sinwar was elected as the overall leader of Hamas, moving from a leadership position in Gaza to the leadership of the movement, as a step of defiance against the occupation and an affirmation that he is the man of the hour who combines experience in imprisonment, organization, politics, and the field.
A symbolic testimony.
On October 16, 2024, the news broke that contradicted all the occupation's propaganda throughout the months of the war, which claimed that the leaders were hiding in tunnels. The army was surprised to find that its soldiers were engaged in an armed confrontation with Abu Ibrahim, who was martyred, his pure blood staining the soil of Tel Sultan in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

The image quickly became a global icon, and even the occupation's media had to acknowledge the courage of the situation. Some wrote, "This is how heroes die," while others considered it "a living legend of resistance."

Maha Al-Rifai: "The situation in Damon is tragic. The clinic is barely functioning."
From a report by lawyer/writer Hassan Abbadi
Maha Abdelrahman Ahmad al-Rifai, from Anata, was arrested by zionist occupation forces on 11 February 2026. Before exchanging greetings, lawyer Hassan Abbadi said to her: "hopefully everything works out and you go back home before Mayar’s wedding.”
She wept intensely - tears and sobs of anguish and joy. She added, “I so wish I will attend the first celebration for a granddaughter in the family.”
She received news from her family and heard how much they miss her.
“Send my birthday wishes to Ammar, and I really miss teasing Abdelrahman around and playing.”
She was arrested at dawn on 11 February 2026, and the hour of her arrest continues to haunt her, along with the path of suffering she has endured.
Maha is in Cell 9, together with Mona Abu Hussein (now released), Nahla Mona, Nidaa Qatamesh, Leen Misk, Basmala Sa’ad, Salwa Ghawadra, Al-Yamama Al-Hreinat, and Hanaa Muhyi al-Din (Tahayneh).
She requested that Hassan Abbadi convey the women’s greetings to their families:
“Hanaa and Nahla need a list of medications; Thikra misses the graduation photograph printed for her and displayed on the bookshelf; Bushra, ‘the bride of Damon’, sends birthday greetings to her fiancé Walid; and greetings as well to Shahd and Mona, Alaa and Nadine”.
“The situation in Damon is tragic. The clinic is barely functioning. There are raids and repression happening in the middle of the night, and a shortage of underwear, with bizarre and unsuitable sizes. The quantities of food are meager and its quality is extremely poor.”
She has lost a great deal of weight.
She asked Hassan Abbadi to convey her greetings to everyone. She sends congratulations to Mayar, together with all the women in the section, and congratulations to Jana, who achieved a 97 average.
“Mom: I’m sorry for every moment I left you alone and was distracted. I love you and miss you more than anything in this world.
I miss Noreen, Abdelrahman, and Samia; all of Ammar’s children; Rita and Falastin, Iyad’s daughters; and Dirar’s and Maher’s children. They are always on my mind.
Samia, please, take some of my money and give Mayar a proper cash gift, along with a nice, substantial present for her wedding“.

Ammar 'Anbas : Sentenced to 24 years, lost 17 kilograms due to medical neglect.
The prisoner Ammar Jamal 'Anbas, 38 years old, from Dhannaba in Tulkarem, who is serving a 24-year sentence, is suffering from harsh health and living conditions inside the Nafha prison, where he has lost approximately 17 kilograms since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip, due to the reduced amount of food provided to prisoners.
Ammar, who has been detained since January 21, 2016, suffers from pain in his knees and lower back, which worsens with the cold. According to the report, the prison administration refuses to provide him with the medications necessary for his condition, or even painkillers, and the maximum time he is allowed outside in the prison yard is only 20 minutes.
Ammar is the brother of the prisoner 'Adi Jamal 'Anbas, 35 years old, who also suffers from severe pain due to a bullet fragment lodged in his lungs, and is being denied the necessary examinations and treatment.
Asra Media Office : Isolation and illness exacerbate the suffering of prisoners Basmala Saad and Sally Sadaqa in Damon.
▪️ Basmala Saad (20 years old): Has lost 17 kg during 8 months of detention and suffers from stomach pain, scabies, and boils. She has been in solitary confinement since October 8th, with no end date specified.
▪️ Sally Sadaqa (17 years old): Suffered from suffocation and loss of consciousness due to gas, followed by a blow to the head, and continues to suffer from chest pain, coughing, and skin allergies.
▪️ The Prisoners' Affairs Office called for an end to Basmala's isolation, the provision of medical treatment for both prisoners, and an end to the abuses against female prisoners.
After spending nearly 31 years in Israeli prisons, 68-year-old Palestinian prisoner Rizq Abdullah Muslim al-Rajoub is facing rapidly deteriorating health in solitary confinement at Ganot prison, amid warnings that continued denial of medical treatment could endanger his life.
Al-Rajoub, from Dura, south of al-Khalil, suffers from severe hearing problems, facial pain and persistent headaches. His lawyer previously reported alarming memory loss, saying he could no longer remember the names of his wife and family members.
The Asra Media Office (AMO) has called for urgent intervention to end his isolation and ensure he receives specialist medical care and basic necessities.
