I don’t think people realise what we’re witnessing right now. Perhaps those behind their phone screens who are not in Tehran may never understand, but the atmosphere here is crazy.
People are coming to Tehran from all over the world; from Russia, Brazil, Norway, Germany, … to attend the farewell ceremony for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the martyred leader of Iran.
Many from Tehran have made their homes available to visitors and many are on the streets with their own money giving people services such as free tea, food, … many are volunteering.
Million, and I truly say MILLIONS are coming in and out the Prayer hall to pay their respects to the martyred leader.
The surrounding areas OUTSIDE the prayer hall were PACKED and filled with people this morning during the prayers, thankfully with no incidents.
A family member of mine is among the volunteers inside the prayer hall helping who’s been sleeping there since friday and has not left the area.
Many people (that I personally know as well) who never attended a public march, decided to attend this one for the love of their leader.
The magnitude of this event is beyond any words honestly.

💔💔 URGENT: Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s life is in immediate danger, Physicians for Human Rights Israel and his lawyer warned Saturday, after a prison visit revealed the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital bearing fresh, severe injuries to his head, eyes, ears, and neck, so disfigured his own attorney initially struggled to recognize him.
🔹Attorney Nasser Odeh, who saw Abu Safiya Thursday at the underground Rakefet interrogation facility in Nitzan Prison, said he arrived shackled hand and foot, escorted by masked guards, struggling to breathe and speak, unable to sit upright, and repeatedly on the verge of losing consciousness.
🔹Abu Safiya told him that after his Supreme Court appeal was heard June 10, four or five guards entered his solitary cell at Ganot Prison and beat him with a hammer and batons, and that since his June 24 transfer to Rakefet he has been beaten daily, losing consciousness several times without receiving medical treatment.
🔹“This is the last time you will see me,” he told his lawyer. “They brought me here to kill me. I don’t see myself surviving. This is the end.”
🔹PHRI notes the escalation in torture began directly after Abu Safiya challenged his detention in court. He has been held without charge since December 27, 2024, under Israel’s Unlawful Combatants Law.
🔹The group has appealed to Israel’s attorney general and prison service demanding his immediate transfer, an independent medical examination, and an urgent judicial visit “before it is too late.”"

Nothing of the sort ever happened to me in Syria under the Assad government, and I was frequently walking around Damascus and Aleppo on my own (as well as going to many other cities & towns in Syria), every year from 2014 to 2021.
In fact, frequently Syrians would tell me—women in particular—that Syria was one of the safest countries before the 2011 foreign war on Syria, that they could travel from Aleppo to Damascus at night without fear of being attacked, much less abused or abducted.
When I was in Syria, the danger was from Western/Gulf-backed terrorists shelling us, or sniping at us.
Now, the dangers are from the terrorism of the Joolani regime and the murderous violence it commits/allows/encourages.

#Homs: An American tourist was attacked in Homs, where a man attacked the car she was riding in and smashed the car window
What’s interesting, is that when she posted the video, she wrote in the caption that the attackers were on motorcycles, and that one of them was armed with a handgun!! (reminds me of the sectarian killers in Homs, armed on motorcycle)
It should be noted that her Instagram account is new, there are no old posts, and it was only created a few days ago, and on it she posted the video of the attack, followed by another follow-up post explaining what happened.
This clip comes just days after a foreign female tourist was harassed in one of the public squares in the city of Aleppo by a mob of thugs.
