CSOFT Lab – The Basirah Edition: 009-B – Friday Sermon (Second Sermon) Purpose: Provide communicators with a strategic analysis of the second Friday sermon, focusing on the weaknesses of global arrogance and the sources of Iran's strength, while extracting actionable talking points for the cognitive war. Date: September 4, 2026 Source Material: Friday Congregational Prayer – Second Sermon – Ayatollah Alireza Arafi Location: Qom, Iran Sermon Overview Theme: The Western civilization built on oppression and injustice is fragile at its core. America's flashy power masks deep weaknesses—internal contradictions, global hatred, economic corruption, political deadlock, and systematic miscalculations. The Iranian nation, rooted in faith and resistance, stands firm against this crumbling edifice. Key Quranic Foundation Verse: "O you who believe, be mindful of God and believe in His Messenger; He will grant you a double share of His mercy and give you a light to walk by, and forgive your sins. And God is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Quran 57:28) – https://tanzil.net/#57:28 Significance: The sermon opens with this verse, grounding the political analysis in divine promise. Faith and mindfulness of God are the prerequisites for receiving divine light and mercy—and this light is what enables the nation to see through the enemy's deception and stand firm. Political Analysis 1. The Awakened Nation is Ahead of Its Leaders – Ayatollah Arafi acknowledges that "this awakened nation is moving ahead of us and the officials." The nation has already demonstrated its greatness, and the role of the sermon is to explain and guide, not to lead from behind. He cites the example of five prominent Sunni figures from African countries who were "overwhelmed" by the power, faith, and revolutionary glory of the Iranian nation. 2. The Source of Iran's Power – The speaker identifies multiple sources of the nation's power: - Friday prayers – "This power has come from Friday prayers." - Belief in انتظار (awaiting) and Mahdism – "This power comes from the belief in انتظار and Mahdism. It is ready." - The vast ranks of the martyrs – "This power comes from the vast ranks of the martyrs." - The pure thought of the late Imam and the martyred leader – "This power comes from the pure thought of our late Imam, and our great and exalted leader." 3. Nine Weaknesses of America and Global Arrogance – The speaker presents a detailed analysis of America's vulnerabilities: - Weakness 1 – Built on Oppression: "At the foundation of this flashy Western civilization lie centuries of oppression and injustice... A civilization, a palace like this, built on foundations of ظلم, is fragile." - Weakness 2 – Global Hatred: "The world's hatred and loathing for America and the arrogant West is boundless... We are certain that most of the world has hearts filled with hatred." - Weakness 3 – Complexity Creates Vulnerability: "Your economy and your systems are highly advanced, but this progress has created complexities that have made you vulnerable." - Weakness 4 – Economy Based on Corruption and Plunder: "Your economy, even today, is based on corruption, discrimination, and the large-scale plunder of the world." - Weakness 5 – Unable to Withstand Shock: "You Americans are spoiled by comfort and unable to withstand major shocks... Your resilience and endurance are very weak." - Weakness 6 – Unfamiliarity with Asymmetric Warfare: "Your unfamiliarity with our new methods, with methods of asymmetric and guerrilla warfare... is another one of your weaknesses." - Weakness 7 – Political Deadlock: "Today your democracy is politically deadlocked. There are many voices in America with no outlet." - Weakness 8 – Double Standards: "Your double standards have made the whole world disgusted with you." - Weakness 9 – Systematic Miscalculations: "We listed fifteen American miscalculations in the recent war. And today, you still have miscalculations." 4. The Enemy's Miscalculations About Iran – The speaker highlights specific enemy miscalculations: "You never really understood Israel either. And you never really understood Iran's counterrevolutionaries either... You understood neither the counterrevolution nor Israel, nor yourselves, nor the greatness and glory of Iran." 5. The Call to Action – The sermon ends with a powerful call: "Either return to your commitments and sound judgment, or get ready for the continuation of these divine campaigns... Hear the cry of 'At your service, O Messenger of God,' 'At your service, O Hussein,' 'At your service, O martyrs,' and 'At your service, O Khamenei.'" Social Guidance The speaker addresses cultural issues as "among the foundations for the continuation of the revolution." He calls for attention to "the purity of society, hijab, chastity, and reducing social harm," specifically addressing Qom as the "center of Islam and religion" and calling on all sectors—clergy, officials, merchants, and the nation—to work collectively to cleanse the city's "radiant face." Strategic Takeaways - Takeaway 1 – Narrative of Power: The resistance's power comes from faith, not material strength. Communicators should emphasise that Iran's power is rooted in Friday prayers, Mahdism, martyrdom, and the pure thought of the leaders. - Takeaway 2 – Expose Enemy Weaknesses: The nine weaknesses of America provide a ready-made framework for countering enemy narratives. Communicators can use these points to dismantle the illusion of American invincibility. - Takeaway 3 – The Enemy is Blind: America's systematic miscalculations prove that it does not understand Iran, the resistance, or even itself. Communicators should highlight this strategic blindness. Closing Prayer The sermon concludes with a prayer for success in obedience, victory for Islam, the avenging of martyrs' blood, the hastening of the Reappearance, and greetings to the Imam of the Age. CSOFT Lab – The Basirah Edition: 009-A – Friday Sermon (First Sermon) Purpose: Extract the spiritual and strategic guidance from the first Friday sermon, focusing on the three pillars of resistance—dignity, patience, and insight—as foundational principles for the individual and the Islamic community in the cognitive and soft war. Date: September 4, 2026 Source Material: Friday Congregational Prayer – First Sermon – Ayatollah Alireza Arafi Location: Qom, Iran Sermon Overview Theme: The path of calling to God requires three foundational pillars: dignity, patience and steadfastness, and insight. These principles, when raised from the individual to the social level, become the rules of resistance against the enemy and the secret to remaining firm in the face of trials. Key Quranic Foundation Verse: "Say, 'This is my way: I call to God with insight, I and those who follow me. And glory be to God, and I am not of the polytheists.'" (Surah Yusuf 12:108) – https://tanzil.net/#12:108 Significance: This verse is the central text of the sermon. It establishes the Prophet's (PBUH) path as a call to God, made with insight, and carried forward by his followers. The verse also emphasizes pure monotheism and the rejection of all forms of shirk, including the hidden kind. Spiritual Counsel On Piety (Taqwa): The speaker urges the congregation to "observe taqwa and uphold the demands of taqwa in every state and throughout life." He emphasizes taqwa as the foundation of all spiritual and social conduct, calling on all worshippers to be mindful of Allah, obey His commands, and avoid disobedience. On Dignity (Izzah): The speaker explains that dignity—self-respect and nobility of character—is a foundational principle of Islamic society. When "Islamic dignity is breathed into the collective spirit," it manifests as the nation's presence in the streets, the courage of the military and security forces, and the awakening of the ummah. Dignity at the individual level becomes resistance at the social level. On Patience and Steadfastness (Sabr): The speaker defines patience and steadfastness as foundational principles. At the individual level, they are emphasized by moral scholars in books on ethics. But when they take on a "broad social dimension," they "create these miracles"—the two hundred nights of presence, the courageous resistance of the armed forces, and the awakening of the nation. On Insight (Basirah): The speaker dedicates the bulk of the sermon to explaining insight. Insight is distinguished from ordinary sight: "Sight is tied to these physical eyes and the outward senses. Insight has to do with that inner perception, that inner light, intellectual understanding, and grasping the complexities of the path." Insight means recognizing the truth when the atmosphere grows clouded, not losing the path amid trials and seditions. It has two dimensions: - Doctrinal insight: Understanding God, God's power, and the Hereafter—not being distracted by the noise of the material world. - Social and political insight: Recognizing the path of truth in the call to God, not being absorbed into the currents created by the enemy, and understanding the layers of politics and history. Strategic Insights from the Sermon 1. The Three Pillars of Resistance – Dignity, Patience, and Insight – Ayatollah Arafi identifies three foundational principles for the Islamic community in facing the enemy: dignity, patience and steadfastness, and insight. These principles, when raised from the individual to the social level, become the rules of resistance. Dignity becomes the pride of the ummah in the face of outsiders; patience creates the two hundred nights of presence; insight enables the nation to see through the enemy's deceptions. Strategic Significance: Just as the Prophet (PBUH) called to God with insight, and just as Imam Husayn (AS) recited this verse on the road to Ashura, the resistance today must be built on insight. Without it, the path is lost. Timestamp: 00:00 – 00:00 (No timestamps provided) Link: N/A 2. Insight is the Key to Navigating Seditions – The speaker emphasizes that insight is not ordinary reason or sensory knowledge. It is "sound judgment and deep awareness amid trials and the haze of intellectual, social, and doctrinal confusion." When seditions arise and the atmosphere grows clouded, insight enables one to recognize the truth. The example of Imam Husayn (AS) reciting this verse on the road to Ashura demonstrates that insight is both doctrinal and political—it means understanding the layers of politics and the future of history. Strategic Significance: Just as Imam Husayn (AS) rose with insight against the schemers' plots and satanic powers, the resistance today must not be absorbed into the currents created by the enemy. Insight is what prevents the nation from being swallowed up by the dust and turmoil raised against the path of truth. Timestamp: 00:00 – 00:00 (No timestamps provided) Link: N/A 3. Pure Monotheism as the Focal Point of the Call – The speaker explains that the verse ends with "Glory be to God, and I am not of the polytheists" to emphasize that the call is to a pure God with no partner. The Prophet (PBUH) rejects all forms of shirk, including hidden shirk—"the subtle, concealed kind" that is "more hidden than a black ant on a black rock in the dark of night." Hidden shirk appears in the form of showing off, seeking reputation, and ungodly motives. Strategic Significance: The resistance's call is not to worldly gains or ambitions. It is to God and divine ideals. Communicators should ensure that their work is free from hidden shirk—seeking reputation, fame, or worldly reward. The call must be pure and sincere. Timestamp: 00:00 – 00:00 (No timestamps provided) Link: N/A Strategic Implications - Implication: Dignity, patience, and insight are not just individual virtues—they are the rules of resistance when raised to the social level. Communicators should frame these principles as the foundation of the nation's resilience. - Implication: Insight is both doctrinal and political. Communicators must develop deep understanding of both divine truths and the complexities of the political landscape. Without insight, the path is lost. - Implication: The call to God must be pure and free from hidden shirk. Communicators should examine their intentions and ensure they are not seeking reputation or worldly reward. Guiding Principle: Principle: The path of resistance is built on three pillars: dignity, patience, and insight. When these principles are raised from the individual to the social level, they become the rules of standing firm against the enemy and overcoming trials. Application: In interviews, social media, and public discourse, consider framing the nation's resilience as the product of these three pillars. Emphasise that insight is both doctrinal and political—understanding God and understanding the enemy's deceptions. Ensure that the call to God is pure and free from hidden shirk. Make Marriage Easier! 🤍 — Martyr Ayatollah Khamenei A must-watch clip from the Martyr Leader — some real talk that we need to hear even if our egos put up its psychological defensive mechanisms to make us stubborn and thus reject it. Cultural capitalism has unfortunately influenced a lot of the unreasonable demands placed on both men and women who are seeking to establish families. This is not an endorsement of allowing a lazy man or a disrespectful woman to marry your son or daughter, but to simply not expect a young, talented, and motivated man to have a home and nice car right out the gate (as if we should aspire towards luxury homes and vehicles in the first place). Marriage should not be delayed until the time when the man eventually can have a home or other amenities. Get married first, then God will provide. Whoever doesn't believe that God will provide has thought badly of God... H/T sarbazaneimam (IG) @BasiraPress

🇮🇷| Following Iran’s pre-emptive attack on Jordan, just moments ago, Iranian channels are now sharing this video of this morning’s speech by Iran’s military spox. He says Iran’s military doctrine has shifted since the 12-Day War toward preemptive strikes. Iran will from now on strike perceived threats before they have the ability to attack. He says recent operations against US positions and anti-Iranian/separatist groups were meant both to deter future attacks and deny the enemy the initiative, and that this policy will continue wherever Iran believes it faces an imminent threat. A few hours later and Iran carried out a pre-emptive attack on US base in Jordan. @FotrosResistancee

💭 Martyr Imam Khamenei on moving to the west: Don't become a tool for the enemy of your country! In this clip, the Martyr Leader expressed disdain at those who contribute to the "brain drain" program of the west (which in the US is aided in part by the CIA), instead of using their talents to build up their own countries. He doesn't say that going to the west is totally forbidden, but he lays out the conditions so that doing so does not benefit systems of evil and oppression and takes away bright minds from their home countries. We should examine the issue of living in the west logically: by living there, we are not just sitting around being neutral, going back and forth from our school and work and minding our own business. By living under that system, our wali (guardian with governing authority) is the American government and its Epstein-associated leadership. Additionally, the taxes we pay go to finance the missiles dropped on the innocent children of Minab, Gaza, and south Lebanon, in addition to domestic oppression. Developing countries find themselves in a catch 22 where they need further development, but are in a rut because their bright minds are being sucked out with incentives from the US and Europe to go live and work there to build up the power and prestige of the arrogant powers and their largest, most evil corporations. As much as consumer boycotts of "israeli" and American products are important, we should also consider that the labor/production side is also important and should be subjected to boycotts by people refusing to work for certain companies and refusing to give their talents to develop the economies of the Satanic powers. The goal should always be to return home, or at least go to a sane, neutral country. The world is bigger than the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia/New Zealand. This was a play on words of the statement of the former communications minister under Rouhani who tried to fearmonger about the revolutionary front by labeling them as "Taliban" during the 2024 election. Liberals are as intolerant, if not more so, than the Taliban. From Europe to certain parts of North Tehran. $1 is 200,000 Toman but at least no Taliban, right?

🇮🇷 🗣 Hassan Fereydoun ("Rouhani") is the only Iranian politician to have been mentioned in the Epstein files in a damning light (i.e. Epstein and his friends were rooting for Rouhani to win the election against Martyr Raisi in 2017, as seen in this screenshot from the Epstein Files). Rouhani and his bloc's entire ideology, or perhaps even their entire existence, is licking the shoes of the American pedophile regime in hopes that will cause the Americans and Zionists to play nice with Iran. And what did the liberals get out of it? The Iranian nation didn't benefit from their humiliation rituals and the liberal officials themselves did not have any accomplishments to adorn their political career's portfolio with, as the JCPOA completely failed to be implemented before it was torn apart by Trump. If Epstein endorses you, you have to ask yourself "where did I go wrong in life?" "Inform the hypocrites that there is a painful punishment for them—those who take the faithless for allies instead of the faithful. Do they seek honor with them? [If so,] indeed all honor belongs to Allah." — Qur'an 4:138-139 As Rouhani is opening his mouth again to try to cause internal division and sedition through attacking IRIB, it is worth to note that he has such star studded endorsements like Jeffrey Epstein. The fact that the liberals cannot tolerate IRIB's rather mild critiques of government officials, shows that liberals are the real dictators who cannot tolerate different viewpoints. This country should not fall into the hands of the Liberal Taliban. @BasiraPress

Surah Al-Kahf: A Weekly Map for a Nation Living Through Trials Millions of Muslims recite Surah Al-Kahf every Friday. Some memorise its verses, others read it week after week, and many know of its virtues and the light associated with it. But why Al-Kahf? Why does one chapter bring together young believers seeking refuge, a wealthy man with two gardens, Moses and the righteous servant, and a powerful ruler travelling across the earth? Perhaps because these stories are not separate at all. They are different faces of the same reality: the human being—and the Ummah—when confronted with temptation. The Surah begins by establishing the straight measure: “Praise belongs to Allah, who has sent down the Book to His servant and allowed no crookedness in it.” Before confronting trials, we need a criterion. A nation does not lose its direction merely because it lacks knowledge; it loses direction when it abandons the principles by which knowledge is judged. ■ The People of the Cave represent the trial of faith. They refused to surrender their convictions simply to conform to their society. Today, entire communities may face the same temptation: to remain silent, compromise their principles, or accept injustice because resistance is costly. Then comes the owner of the two gardens—the trial of wealth and security. Nations, institutions and individuals can become intoxicated by prosperity, believing that what they possess will last forever. Yet the Qur'an reminds us that worldly life can become like vegetation destroyed by the wind. ■ The story of Prophet Moses teaches the trial of knowledge: human beings see only fragments of reality. A defeat, a closed door, or a painful delay may be part of a story whose wisdom has not yet been revealed. ■ Finally comes Dhul-Qarnayn and the trial of power. He possessed immense strength, yet attributed his achievement to divine mercy: “This is a mercy from my Lord.” True power is not measured by how much one can impose upon others, but by how responsibly one uses the strength entrusted to them. This is why Surah Al-Kahf remains profoundly relevant to the Ummah today. Faith, wealth, knowledge and power are all necessary—but each can become a source of corruption when separated from truth. The Surah therefore gives us more than stories. It gives us a map for surviving an age of trials. For an Ummah facing occupation, injustice, division, fear and relentless pressure, the lesson is clear: do not allow the trial to make you forget who you are. The greatest danger is not merely losing wealth, territory, influence or comfort. It is gaining something—and losing yourself because of it. Every Friday, Surah Al-Kahf calls us back to the straight path.

Friday: A Weekly Appointment with Change 🌻 Friday arrives each week as a sacred opportunity to pause, breathe, and rearrange what has become disordered within us. 🌻 We wash, prepare for prayer, recite the Qur’an, increase our remembrance and supplication, and then look honestly at the path we have travelled—and the path we still wish to take. 🌻 Great transformations often begin with one sincere moment of self-examination: What needs to change in my faith, my heart, my relationships, my work, my habits, and my responsibility toward my community and my Ummah? 🌻 Allah says: “Indeed, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves.” (Qur’an 13:11) 🌻 Let Friday become your weekly appointment with transformation. 🌻 Choose one habit to correct, one sin to repent from, one act of obedience to begin, one relationship to repair, or one meaningful goal toward which you can take a step. 🌻 Increase your prayers on this blessed day. 🌻 Ask Allah to guide the Ummah toward its best condition—and to guide you toward becoming the best version of yourself. 🌻 Change begins when you recognise the value of the life Allah has entrusted to you, understand your responsibility for it, and decide to move. 🌻 Let every Friday leave a mark upon you, so that when the next Friday arrives, you find yourself closer to Allah, stronger in purpose, and closer to the person you were created to become.

Some observations regarding the enemy's announcement of controlling Ali al-Tahir hill: According to the enemy's media and military analysts, whose sources are from the Israeli army, control was achieved a long time ago, but the announcement and permission to publish on the subject were made yesterday. I believe that yesterday's announcement was made in response to the Iranian threat published by Reuters, which stated that any attack on Ali al-Tahir would be met with an Iranian response. The enemy army's announcement of its control over the high ground means that it has completed evacuating the two paths it previously talked about, it means that it has secured them, and it means, in my opinion, that it is working on preparing them for detonation. The timing of the announcement is not related to the Israeli elections, although Netanyahu will benefit from it, but so far all of Netanyahu's "achievements" have proven not to increase his seats to more than 24. The occupation of Ali al-Tahir hill is not the last battle, and even if Israel occupies Lebanon, this does not mean it is the last battle. The main battle is one of willpower, and what the enemy wants is to break our willpower. If we remain in a small area in northern Lebanon and continue to fight, or if we do not remain anywhere and continue to say "no", this is enough. The main problem in the entire Ali al-Tahir issue is the media handling of it, portraying it as a final battle, which was a mistake. What is required now is not to exaggerate the Israeli achievement, nor deny or belittle it, out of respect for our minds.

Five Circles for Raising Righteous Children Raising righteous children is not achieved through commands alone. It begins long before a child learns to speak, and it is built through a series of choices that shape character, faith, and conscience. One useful framework is the Five Circles of Raising Righteous Children. The First Circle: Reform Yourself Children learn more from what they see than from what they are told. If you want righteousness in your children, begin by cultivating it within yourself. The Second Circle: Choose a Righteous Mother The mother is among the earliest and deepest influences on a child’s character. Choosing a woman of faith, integrity, and sound character is therefore one of the most consequential decisions a parent can make. The Third Circle: Feed Them Halal Provision is not merely about quantity. What enters the home and sustains the family should be lawful, wholesome, and earned with integrity. The Fourth Circle: Hold Them to the Qur’an Let the Qur’an become a companion in their lives—not merely a book they memorise, but a source of guidance, values, and moral clarity. The Fifth Circle: Protect Them from Three Great Dangers — harmful educational environments, — destructive media, — and bad company. Take these responsibilities seriously, while placing your trust in Allah. By His permission, these foundations can become a powerful protection for your children. As the Qur’an reminds us: “Allah would never cause your faith to be lost.” (Qur’an 2:143)

A Friday Morning of Supplication, Resistance, and Hope This blessed Friday morning, we revive one of the profound devotional practices that connects our hearts to the Imam of our Time, the Awaited One — Du'a al-Nudbah. It is more than a supplication recited with the tongue; it is a covenant renewed in the heart, a cry of longing for divine justice, relief, guidance, and victory. We hope this noble tradition finds its place in every mosque, prayer hall, Husayniyyah, and home, so that voices may rise together in humble appeal to Allah, blending prayer with longing and tears, asking Him to hasten the promised relief. Du'a is not an escape from reality. It is what gives the believer the strength to confront reality without surrendering to it. The Qur'an declares: “Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your supplication.” (Qur'an 25:77) This verse reveals the extraordinary place of prayer: it is not weakness, passivity, or withdrawal. It is an intimate connection with the One who possesses power over every circumstance. And when we look at the reality of our Ummah today — confronting aggression, occupation, injustice, and the immense political and military power of the Zionist-American project — the believer understands that RESISTANCE requires more than material strength. It requires faith, patience, steadfastness, sacrifice, unity, and an unbroken relationship with Allah. The battlefield of endurance is not sustained by weapons alone. Hearts must remain alive. People must resist despair before they resist defeat. Communities must preserve hope when the enemy seeks to exhaust them psychologically and spiritually. This is where Du'a al-Nudbah speaks directly to our present reality. Its longing for divine justice becomes a declaration that oppression will not have the final word, and its yearning for the Imam becomes a commitment to remain among those who refuse humiliation and remain steadfast upon truth. So, on this blessed Friday, let our supplication become a source of courage, our tears a renewal of commitment, and our hope an act of resistance against despair. O Allah, hasten the relief of Your Awaited One, strengthen those who stand for justice, protect the oppressed, grant steadfastness to those who endure, and do not allow our hearts to surrender to fear or despair. May our prayers rise from sincere hearts — and may our lives become an answer to those prayers. May Allah send His blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. O Allah, hasten the relief of Your Awaited One and grant victory and steadfastness to those striving in Your path. We ask you to remember us in your prayers 🤲

“The enemy will spread photos and videos of their invasion into Gaza, occupation of residential buildings, or presence in public areas and well-known landmarks. This is part of the psychological warfare in guerrilla wars; you allow your enemy to move as they wish so that they fall into your trap and you strike them. You determine the location and timing of the battle. So, you may see photos from Al-Katiba Square, Al-Saraya, Al-Rimal, or Omar Al-Mukhtar Street, but do not let this weaken your resolve. The battle is judged by its overall results, and this is merely a show." - Martyr Basil al-Araj on not believing the enemy's psyops, photo ops, and PR stunts to exaggerate or even fully fabricate their alleged gains on the ground
