Successful Student? 🧐: Before starting to attend college, I never knew what I’m interested in. As a result, I went with a random major that I thought I was interested in (entrepreneurship)💰. Participating in Entrepreneur’s Lab and doing some related extra-curricular activities, I realised it was the most useless subject to specialise in, changing to Finance. At first, it wasn’t such a bad experience: I successfully joined the E-Board of Investment Club at University - a student managed investment fund worth $50 million. It then dawned on me that financial forecasting is just playing with numbers when all affecting factors are stable, but the future always hold uncertainty. It’s a profession where your growth depends on the future economic climate - putting it simply, luck. I dropped it too, ultimately switching to Accounting💴. So far, it’s been a nice experience. I like debits and credits, budgeting, and allocating funds in such a way that leaves no room for cash flow problems. I believe I’ll stay there until the very end🤞. I consider myself to be a successful student, with almost the whole business college knowing and praising me. However, I’m sure I could be better if I came to university with certainty on what I would study💙. My genuine advice for high school students: it’s the best time to pursue your interests and explore your passion. Coming to university knowing what you will do is going to put you ahead of other students. Open your laptop, and start your enjoyable research journey 🙂 Follow my channel: With Sukhrob
