ECWC has successfully completed the 5th-floor slab concrete casting at the Manufacturing Industry Development Institute (MIDI) project site (2B+G+18+T), marking another important milestone in the project’s structural works.
A key part of this progress is our use of in-house ready-mix concrete produced at our Kaliti Concrete Batching Plant.
This reflects our continued effort to strengthen ECWC’s internal capabilities, optimize the resources and assets we already have, and progressively bring key project packages in-house where it creates greater value, control, and efficiency.
It is more than completing a concrete pour. It is about building capability, improving execution, and making better use of ECWC’s resources.

ECWC has graduated 144 security officers across three training rounds, with support from our internal trainers and guest trainers from the Ethiopian Federal Police.
The training covered CCTV surveillance, risk prevention, crisis response, professional ethics, and disciplined security practices.
This is part of our broader reform to build a more secure, disciplined and resilient ECWC strengthening prevention and deterrence while creating a safe environment for our people to perform at their best.

Leadership Beyond Borders. Building Regional Value.
Taking ECWC’s leadership and expertise closer to where our work happens, the Project Roadshow continued in Djibouti with our CEO, Mr. Robel Tsegaye, visiting our Djibouti Branch Office, the Dry Port Project, and the Community School Project to review progress, align priorities, understand challenges, and strengthen project delivery.
During the visit, the delegation team led by our CEO met with H.E. Dr. Legesse Tulu, Ambassador of Ethiopia to Djibouti, to strengthen relations with a key institutional stakeholder.
Through our Djibouti Branch Office, ECWC continues to extend its engineering expertise, project delivery capabilities, and regional presence beyond Ethiopia.
