Hannibal إنّ ما يُمثّله هانيبال، في مبحث النفس، بين معالجتها، وملاحظة ما يجري عليها من اطراب، وبين تمتّعه بتسييرها، من جهةٍ تلاعبِهِ بها، ليجمع من تناقض المفاهيم، وتضادّ المعاني، ما يستحقّ من الوقفات عليها الكثير، إذ تلجأُ إليه الأنفس، باحثةً عمّا يداويها، فما إن خَطَت في وكره، حتّى أصبحت فريسةً له؛ فمن جهةٍ أنّها طعامٌ له، ومن جهةٍ تشريحها، والتشريحُ هنا محمولٌ على أمرين؛ تشريحٌ للأنفس، فيشرع في تحليل ذواتهم، وكشف كُنهِهم، ودراسة طبائعهم، وإدراك جوهرهم، إذ هو من أهل البصيرة والعلم. وتشريحٌ للجسد، فيجعل من قُبح النفوس، ودمامة الشخوص، أشكالًا من الفنون التشكيلية، إذ يحمل من الذائقات أرقاها، ولا ينتهج من العبث مناهجه، فيُحمِّلُها رسالاتٍ ورموزًا، تعكس من النفوس خباياها، ومن المعاني خفاياها، جامعًا بين الشناعة في جرائمه، والجمال في فنه، وما اختصّ بهذه النظرة إلّا عن تدبّر، مُجسّدًا للازدواجية البشرية، ولا يرى جرائمه بأعينٍ مادية، إذ هي لديه كالطقوس. وإن قِسنا هذا على التهامه لهم، فما هذه إلّا حالةٌ روحية خالصةٌ، تندمج فيها الروحُ والجسدُ على لسانه، كما تندمج ذائقتاه؛ الحسّيّة والنفسيّة. وإطنابًا في الحديث عن فلسفته، فما الموت لديه إلّا لحظةٌ أصيلة في الوجود، وتأمّلٌ فيه، وتحرّرٌ من رذائله، وما الرذائل لديه كما لدينا، إذ يختصّ بنظرته عنها، فيرى الشرّ كضرورةٍ جماليةٍ في الحياة، فيصنع من ثنائية الشرّ والموت، والقبح والجمال، اتحادًا وجوديًّا. وما إن تَقُد الطُّرُقُ ضحاياه، حتّى إن وقعوا في خيوط شباكه، كانوا كوقوع فرائس العنكبوت في بيته، فما إن حاولوا الخروج تملّصًا، ازداد تَعلُّقُهم واشتباكُهم، وما أشبههم في شباكه بدمىً تُحرّكها الخيوط، فيُسيّرهم كيفما شاء، إلى وقت تجوعُ روحه، وتَعطشُ نفسه، حتّى إذا لاقَوا حُتوفَهم، لاقى ما يُشبعُ تَجَوُّعَه، ويَروي تَعطُّشَه، وما هذا إلّا تَعيُّشُهُ، فهو طبيبٌ في مبحث النفس والعلم، وفيلسوفٌ في مبحث الفكر والتأمّل، ومفترسٌ في مبحث الصيد والالتهام.
