Just like our father Adam عليه السلام was tempted by Iblees to eat fruit from the tree in Jannah which Allah had clearly made haram for him we are also eating fruits from the trees of this Dunya which Allah has clearly made haram/kufr. Iblees will never come to us and say, let's commit kufr. He will make it appear good/beneficial for you or even Islam. He will make it seem like it is halal. He will say, your intentions are good that is all that matters. Then unlike Adam عليه السلام we don't refrain from it. We, like stubborn Iblees, justify ourselves and say we had good intentions etc. Adam عليه السلام had good intentions too. He didn't want to rebel against Allah yet Allah didn't accept that excuse. He repented for so long for what apparently seems a small sin/disobedience. So who are we? We are sons of Adam عليه السلام but we are arrogant like Iblees. Iblees was asked to make Sujood to Adam عليه السلام but he arrogantly refused and argued against Allah's command to make the Sujood. Today we do the same. We choose haram/kufr over halal because we want easy ways to get something. We don't want any hardships. We choose haram/kufr on easy path over halal on difficult path. May Allah grant us patience upon hardships that come our way on halal path.

👆 Take for example these people who claim they will bring Shari’ah of Allah through elections. Jihad is halal path to establish Shari’ah of Allah. The elections are haram path. But they find Jihad is difficult and elections are easy so they take haram path and leave halal path. Then they say, they have good intentions.

We are in times where people want concessions to commit kufr. Sahabah would seek means to stay far away from haram even under tortures and other forms of oppression. We seek means and excuses to commit kufr and say, our intentions are good.

Da’wah comes with constant Fitnah. Sometimes physical, like obstacles or enemies in your path, and sometimes spiritual, like Niyah becoming corrupted or threatened. Often the Fitnah is of a nature that cannot be “gotten rid of”, but rather, one has to push through it every single day and battle with it until its effect becomes futile upon the heart and intention. As soon as one Fitnah evanesces, another moves in to take its place. The heart doesn’t catch a break nor a moment to breathe in this battle. Enjoy and savor the moments where you’re free from the enemies and free from the whispers of Shaytān and take advantage during those days — they don’t last long.

🛑 Work or School Preventing You From Prayer?! 🛑 It is not enough to merely offer prayer, you need to offer prayer that is accepted by Allah. We are commanded to worship Allah alone by obeying Him and doing righteous deeds sincerely for His sake and according to the way the Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم taught us. The prayer has stipulated conditions which must be fulfilled. Allah commanded us to do righteous and sincere deeds according to His command. We have a rule in Islam, that which is needed to complete a duty, becomes a duty itself. Among the biggest conditions for an accepted prayer is to offer prayer at its stated fixed time. Missing the prayer time intentionally is from among the major sins, some scholars even considered it disbelief. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, [the distinction] between a believer and non-believer is to give up the prayer. — Muslim In another Hadith, he said, “The covenant that stands between us and them is prayer; whoever gives up prayer is a disbeliever.” — Ahmad & Others The Sahabah held a unanimous consensus on this. So when the time for prayer comes, you must offer prayer within its time, it doesn’t matter what, so long as you’re conscious. There’s very few exceptions wherein a person can intentionally postpone the prayer. For example, a doctor performing a life-threatening surgery, he is permitted to combine the Dhur prayer with Asr, or the Maghrib with the Isha. Even amidst the intensity of the battle, a Mujahid is required to offer prayer at its stated time. People view the prayer wrong, that’s why it seems like a burden. In reality, prayer is a relief and a source of victory for both the individual and the Ummah. Work or school is not a Shari’ excuse for delaying or missing the prayer. It’s not acceptable! There is no obedience to the creation when it is disobedience to the Creator. The Muslims who find themselves in such situations should prioritise the command of Allah and be wise but not miss the prayer as it’s required time. The command of Allah is the higher command and it must be implemented as so. In some cases, the necessity allows for combining, for example, there is an exam at the time of Dhur and ends as Asr time, you have no choice but to sit this exam as there is no other option. So, you can combine the Dhur and Asr prayer just like the traveller. The scholars who make verdict that school or work are Shari’ reasons to abandon the prayer time and pray later either (1) lack Fiqh or (2) have sold their religion for a worldly benefit. The requirement for the validity of prayer, is to offer prayer at its stated fixed time as Allah states in multiple verses of the Quran. Prayer is not like the other commandments. Prayer is the loftiest act of worship. Allah took His truthful Messenger on the night journey and gave the command of prayer at the loftiest and highest position. It came from the heavens. Every other action was ordained on the land except the prayer. That shows you the importance of prayer. You will be asked about the prayer first on the Judgement Day, if it is good everything else will be looked at, if it is not, everything else is futile. A lofty command ordained from the loftiest of stations. — Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله https://t.me/LightOfTheTruth
