The reported treatment of stray dogs in Hossana, Ethiopia, has sparked an important conversation about how communities address animal welfare challenges. While public safety concerns are real, cruelty cannot be the answer. We need evidence based, humane approaches: • Vaccination programs • Sterilization initiatives • Public education • Responsible animal welfare policies Every life deserves dignity. As pharmacists, we often focus on choosing the right medicine, but it's equally important to remember that many effective medications can also cause liver injury when used inappropriately or without monitoring. Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) remains one of the leading reasons medications are discontinued worldwide. Early recognition and regular Liver Function Tests (LFTs) can make a significant difference for patients receiving higher-risk therapies. 😂 "Your liver isn't on Wi-Fi it can't reconnect after going offline."
