Need help: Bluetooth not discovering (Intel AX200) & No sound (ALC1220) on Skylake laptop running macOS Ventura Need some help fixing Bluetooth and Audio on my HP Skylake laptop running macOS Ventura (OpenCore 0.8.8). Everything else like graphics, display brightness, and Wi-Fi works fine, but I'm stuck on these two issues Specs & Setup: Laptop: HP Skylake (6th Gen Intel Core) Audio Chipset: Realtek ALC1220 (0x10ec1168) on Sunrise Point-LP HD Audio controller Wi-Fi / BT Card: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (M.2) Bootloader: OpenCore 0.8.8 OS: macOS Ventura (spoofed Skylake setup) Issue 1: Intel AX200 Bluetooth cannot discover devices Wi-Fi works via AirportItlwm.kext. Bluetooth power toggles on and off in macOS settings, but it never finds nearby devices. Kext order used: IntelBluetoothFirmware.kext -> IntelBTPatcher.kext -> BlueToolFixup.kext (IntelBluetoothInjector is disabled). Tested boot-args: -bt4le -btlfxallowanyaddr. Tested NVRAM keys: zeroed bluetoothInternalControllerInfo and bluetoothExternalDongleFailed = 00. system_profiler SPBluetoothDataType often falls back to a dummy profile showing Chipset: BCM_4350C2, Address: NULL, and Discoverable: Off. Issue 2: Realtek ALC1220 Audio is completely silent AppleALC.kext is loaded. ioreg -rxn AppleALC confirms it detects CodecID = 0x10ec1168, but no output channels or internal speakers appear in Sound settings. Tested layout IDs: 1, 11, 28 via both boot-args (alcid=X) and DeviceProperties under PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1F,0x3). ACPI tables currently present: only SSDT-EC-USBX, SSDT-PLUG, and SSDT-PNLF (no HPET or IRQ conflict patches applied). Looking for advice on why the AX200 drops to a dummy Broadcom state during scanning and what is needed to get ALC1220 output active on Sunrise Point-LP without breaking boot stability. https://redd.it/1wt7rqb @r_hackintosh

San Diego HP Bios Flashing Hey all! Looking for someone in the San Diego area that can flash the bios chip of an HP EliteDesk G5 800DM 95W version with Radeon RX560X GPU. Was a pickup from a liquidation and has a corporate bios lock. Just trying to flash it so I can run the hackintosh. Certain boot menu options are locked. Doubts regarding signing my apple ID Hi guys, first time hackintoshing for me, I've reached the setup screen of the MacOS, so basically done with the hard part, I've generated my serial its invalid when I check it through coverage apple, although the website only works on my phone for some reason and not my PC. I was wondering since everyone says its fine to use your own apple ID, is it still alright ? I've read that some people can still get their apple ID banned? Is there any lightweight Hackintosh version like Tiny10? I’m trying to install macOS on an old/low-power laptop and was wondering if there’s something like Tiny10, but for macOS. Basically I’m looking for the lightest possible macOS version, with unnecessary stuff/services removed so it doesn’t eat too much RAM and CPU. Does something like this exist? Most recommended mini-PC for Sequoia Hello, I plan to purchase mini-PC for linux server, nothing fancy, 64 or 128 GB of storage, 16 GB of RAM. I know there’re guides with list of supported parts, but haven’t found anything in regards to a whole builds. I’d like to hear your recommendations and experiences in terms of usability and stability of specific mini-PC, or which parts of it you feel like are the most recommended one in your opinion. Specs not compatible. Which one should I buy? Hey everyone im really interested in having a dual boot but I know that my specs are not compatible Right now I have an Ryzen 5 5600, Asus B450 K II motherboard, SSD Nvme m2 1Tb, 600W Psu. What do I have to buy for the hackintosh? I’ve been looking and I know that I need a second gpu (Rx 560/580 used maybe?), and I prefer having a second ssd (Sata 2,5 ssd 500gb). SATA drives randomly missing after warm reboot (Z490/Ventura) — found the root cause, need a kernel-patch wizard TL;DR: SATA drives intermittently don't show up after a warm restart on my Hackintosh (cold boot is more reliable). Traced it to a known bug class in Apple's own AppleAHCIPort driver — stale PHY link state surviving warm reboot causes the driver to skip its port reset and never properly re-enumerate the drive. There's a documented fix for this exact mechanism on a different controller (Mac Pro 5,1 / ICH10, patched for Sequoia), but the kernel patch bytes don't translate to my Comet Lake PCH on Ventura 13.7.8. Looking for anyone who can help re-derive the patch, or who's already hit this. Setup: ASUS ProArt Z490-Creator, OpenCore 1.0.7, Ventura 13.7.8, iMac20,2. Symptom: one or more of 5 SATA drives randomly missing after warm restart, usually the same drive. Cold power cycle is more reliable. Boot time also balloons to 2+ min on boots where it eventually recovers — same bug, just slow instead of failing. Proof it's a macOS driver bug, not hardware/firmware/OpenCore: the same drive shows up 100% of the time in the board's own UEFI storage list, and 100% of the time across repeated warm reboots when booted straight into Ubuntu via the UEFI boot picker (no OpenCore involved at all). Only macOS's drivers miss it — on both SATA and USB (tried the same drive in an external enclosure, still drops). Log evidence: log show --last boot shows repeated IOAHCIBlockStorage CommandTimeout → InitiateDeviceRecovery → WatchdogTimeout cycles across 4 SATA ports in one boot, eating 154 seconds. The theory (matches a documented case almost exactly): yoy123/mac-pro-sata-hotplug — on warm reboot the AHCI controller doesn't fully lose power, so the PHY link stays "up" from before the restart, and AppleAHCIPort's EnablePortOperation skips the real reset (HandleComReset()) because it thinks the link's already fine, reading stale data instead. Their fix: an SSDT doing a targeted PHY reset + a kernel patch to AppleAHCIPort forcing a real reset every boot. Both are byte-offset-specific to ICH10 + Sequoia's kernel, so not usable as-is on my hardware/OS. Full ruled-out list (cabling, power, drive hardware, VT-d, a boot-looping SSDT attempt, ReleaseUsbOwnership, FadtEnableReset) and full logs available if anyone wants to dig in — just ask.
