Shut down - will not entirely shut down the laptop I have two laptops running MacOS, one Lenovo W530/Sequioa. Shutdown works 100% here. Second one is Fujitsu U729/Tahoe. Here shutdown will shutdown the screen, but fans, etc will stay on (even tough at a lower fan level - but it won't shut off completely). I followed the guide here: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/usb/misc/shutdown.html and in my case i have to usb controllers (first one is stripped): _SB_.PCI0.XHC_ ACPI(_SB_)#ACPI(PCI0)#ACPI(RP13)#ACPI(PXSX)#ACPI(TBDU)#ACPI(XHC_) So i made the .aml file and added it to the acpi section in opencore + physical file on disk. It made no difference. Would there be a more "bullet proof" way to go about this? What if one has two usb controllers like myself, do i then create two .aml files, one per each? Can i combine them? Hackintosh Help I wanna start making hackintoshed for fun. I have a PC build that consists of GA-EP45-UD3P (rev 1.1) Motherboard, a AMD Radeon 6450, Corsair 600T case, a iHOS104 ATA DVD drive that can read blu-ray, a Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 that is 2.83 GHz. 4GB RAM, EVGA SuperNova 850 G+. 64 GB HDD. Here is what I have planned, I stick to one SMBIOS (I’ll be using Mac Pro 5 , 1), I wanna start at Lion and go to the last version this SMBIOS supports without hardware swaps, and/or bootloader changes.
