Need help starting OpenCore / DSDT setup for Monterey (i5-4690 / Haswell) Hi, I'm a student trying to make a macOS Monterey bootable USB using OpenCore. I'm currently confused about where to start with DSDT/SSDT patching and config.plist setup. Could someone guide me on how to get started? My System Specs: CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 (Haswell) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB (Planning to disable it via boot args/SSDT and run on iGPU HD 4600) RAM: 28GB DDR3 Motherboard: ASRock Any advice or links to specific guides for Haswell builds would be greatly appreciated. Mac OS Sequoia black screen on OptiPlex 7040 I was following the opencore guide for my hardware, and spoofed my gpu to be a 630 not 530, yet everytime i try to load in to the installer it verbose scrolls for a bit then goes black screen, the only thing that changed it was adding wegnoigpu to my boot args which made it loop on like failing to open the installer or something. Firmware keys error Hi, I am using meowcat454 ramdisk tool and no matter which iOS I choose I always get error messages, that keys not found. I’m on 11.7.10 Big Sur, I thought it was Safari because all links were black on applewiki, so installed Firefox and made it default browser and all keys are blue (clickable) but still I can’t make any ramdisk. No Wi-Fi after High Sierra install, Intel 8265 Before the angry comments roll in, I chose High Sierra because I have always wanted to try out older macOS. I am dual booting with Windows 10 IoT LTSC. It is my computer, I paid for it, and I get to do what I want with it. Anyway, hello everyone! I had installed macOS High Sierra via Internet Recovery through my Wi-Fi, with zero issues at all. Once I set it up, I had zero connectivity at all. My Wi-Fi card is the Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 8265. As far as I know, it is using the AirportItlwm kext. The System Information application only shows software versions under Wi-Fi. What is interesting, however, is that I have Bluetooth. I am able to connect my wireless headphones just fine. I have reset the NVRAM as well. I had a macOS Ventura hackintosh before this one that worked just fine. Help is appreciated. Black screen on post install Tahoe 26 HP ProBook laptop, AMD Ryzen 3 7330U, AMD Radeon Vega 6 iGPU System boots and loads through most of the process (kernel collections load fine, launchd services start, filesystem mounts), but never reaches WindowServer/login screen i get a black screen with zero output, on both internal display and external HDMI monitor. Looking for an Atheros Wi-Fi card that works with macOS Ventura on Dell Latitude E5430 Hi , I have a Dell Latitude E5430 running macOS Ventura with OpenCore. Almost everything works perfectly, but my Wi-Fi card is the only problem. Current Wi-Fi card: Dell DW1504 Broadcom BCM4313 Half Mini PCIe Ethernet and USB tethering work, but I can't get the internal Wi-Fi working. I know Broadcom BCM94352HMB/DW1550 is probably the easiest option, but I am looking specifically for a cheap Mini PCIe Half Height card if possible. I found some cards like: Atheros AR9285 / AR5B95 Atheros AR9280 / AR5BHB92 Atheros AR9462 / AR9485 Does anyone have experience getting any Atheros card working on macOS Ventura? My requirements: Must fit Dell Latitude E5430 (Half Mini PCIe) Preferably cheap Wi-Fi only is enough, Bluetooth is not required I don't mind editing kexts or OpenCore config If Atheros is impossible on Ventura, please tell me which cheap card would be the best alternative. https://redd.it/1v8w7wp @r_hackintosh

OS X Mavericks running on a Dell Latitude E6420. As the title says, I managed to get Mavericks somewhat functional on my Dell E6420 here with a few minor issues I need to take care of such as the trackpad being unresponsive and audio being dead. Specs: \- Intel Core i5-2520M, paired with integrated HD 3000 graphics. \- Memory: 12GB. \- Wi-Fi: Atheros AR9287. \- Bluetooth: DW375. \- Bootloader: OpenCore 1.0.7 What’s working: \- Bluetooth (Although requires a reboot if it goes to sleep mode since it will refuse to pair with my earpods.) \- Keyboard (Including volume and brightness keys). \- Brightness. \- Graphics acceleration (A bit finicky and noticeable tearing, but smooths out after awhile.) What’s not working: \- Trackpad (As said above.) \- Audio (Dead.) FYI: I did use the god eldritch tool for this, which didn’t work initially (As if it supports a 2013 OS), after spending like 2 days on this project and learning some things, I finally got it booting. What are the benefits of a hackintosh? I understand the “hate” some people might have for the closed source nature of apple, or most of us just really love the stability and feel of MacOS, but isn’t the struggle of setting up a hackintosh and the troubleshooting eventually worse than saving up to buy a Mac? Problems using hackmate Hi!!! I am having problems with my msi gv72vr 7rf, i7 7700hq, hd630 igpu, gtx 1060 dpu. There are many kexts that doesn’t get downloaded. Are there any development when it comes to hackmate to solve kexts and files that fails to download? Keep up the good work you have done so far.
