It was done in AFRICA AND THEY SUFFERED BADLY
In August 1972, dictator *Idi Amin* ordered the expulsion of all Asians from Uganda - about 80,000 people, mostly of Indian origin who had been there since the late 1800s building the Uganda Railway.
He gave them *90 days to leave*, calling it an "economic war" to give Uganda back to ethnic Ugandans. He accused Indians of "milking the economy" and said God told him in a dream to expel them.
They were allowed to take only $120 and 220 kg of property, and some 5,655 firms, ranches, farms, shops, sugar estates and factories were confiscated and handed over to his soldiers and cronies via the Departed Asians Property Custodian Board. 5458
What happened next:
- Trade networks collapsed - the Indian community was 1% of the population but paid ∼90% of taxes and ran most of the commerce.
- Shops emptied, factories shut down, sugar and soap disappeared from shelves.
- GDP fell ∼5% in 3 years, manufacturing output collapsed from 740 million to 254 million shillings by 1979, real wages fell 90%, and by the time Amin was overthrown the economy had shrunk more than 40%.
Years later President Yoweri Museveni in 1986 invited the community back and started returning seized properties, but the economy never fully recovered its pre-1972 trajectory.

India is the only country that took on China in a short battle - Galwan. We lost 25 soldiers. China lost close to 95 soldiers. India is the only country that banned TikTok and continues to do so.
India is the only country to have taken on the US. Op Sindhoor hit US assets at Nur Khan Air base. Pakistan was hit hard and its American F16s were destroyed on the ground. We continue to buy Russian oil despite sanctions and trade wars.
A Nation that can take on China and US simultaneously for the betterment of its citizens cannot be detracted or perturbed by cockroaches.

The Manorama River in Uttar Pradesh was choking under plastic waste, heavy silt and thick aquatic weeds. Parts of it had become stagnant. Instead of waiting for authorities to act, local youths decided to take matters into their own hands.
For 3relentless months, led by environmental activist Dileep Kumar, local youths, volunteers and village elders battled the accumulated waste with their own hands. They painstakingly removed tonnes of debris, cleared thick aquatic weeds and desilted stretches of the river. Their sustained effort helped restore the river’s natural flow across several stretches.

FOR 12 YEARS, CHANDAN SINGH HAS BEEN PERFORMING PIND DAAN FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO ONE.
Every Pitru Paksha, Chandan Singh comes to Gayaji with a diary. Inside it are names and details of people who died unclaimed, unidentified, or without anyone to perform their last rites. Since 2014, he says he has performed tarpan, shraddha and pind daan for more than 10,000 people.
And this work began with his father, Suresh Narayan Singh. After the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, his father started performing rites for people who had no surviving family, whose identities were unknown, or whose relatives could not reach Gayaji. In 2013, he asked Chandan to promise that he would continue the work. His father died later that year. Chandan began fulfilling that promise in 2014.
