😀 Paris, late 1945
🔥 In 1945, under pressure from scientists, the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) was established.
Officially, the CEA was dedicated to fundamental research. Unofficially, the Curie frequency was being studied there.
👁 Irène could no longer ignore her intuition.
They were being used; something was being prepared without their knowledge, and she was determined to find out what it was.
With the help of her husband, she allowed her mice to enter and search offices that had become off-limits.
🐭 The little blue ninjas returned with documents. Irène hurriedly went through them.
Then her gaze froze and her blood ran cold: plans for weapons of war.
It was unthinkable to Irène that her work, and especially her mother's, should be used for such a purpose.
It was obvious to her what she needed to do: wage an internal struggle.

| 5 | 🇵🇪 Lima, Peru hosts an awesome Ingress Mission Day!
😮 This colourful city has the lot - incredible food, many unusual and unique sculptures (portals of course) and quick access to some world class archeological sites - like the pyramids at Museo de Sitio Huaca Pucllana, pictured here.
💙 And this weekend, it also had an Ingress Mission Day! Agents got chance to unwind after the anomaly day and explore the best of the city. They reported it was one to remember for a lifetime.

| 6 |  🛡️ Mission Day Geneva
☀️ Still in the middle of the heat wave, agents welcomed a slower pace on Sunday, exploring Geneva through Mission Day and taking plenty of ice cream breaks along the way 🍦
🇺🇳 Some of the highlights included the Palais des Nations, home to the European headquarters of the United Nations.
🌳 Nearby, the Jardin Botanique offered shady paths and a chance to escape the summer heat among thousands of plant species from around the world.
⏰ Agents also passed through the Jardin Anglais to visit the famous Flower Clock, a symbol of Geneva’s long watchmaking tradition, before making their way to the Promenade des Bastions, known for its tree-lined walkways, giant chess boards, and relaxed atmosphere.
Looks like Mission Day was the perfect way to round out the Geneva anomaly weekend! ❤️

| 18 |  🇫🇷 Paris Apollo Episode 11: The Crossing
😀 Paris, 1944:
💥 The war had already been raging for several years, bringing the work on the blue-eyed mice and Irène's research to a halt.
💉 Having developed tuberculosis, Irène required regular medical treatment. The war made these essential procedures for her survival increasingly difficult.
Reluctantly, and at her husband's insistence, she had to accept that she must leave France in order to receive treatment and protect her children.
🐭 It was unthinkable for her to abandon her little research companions. Equipped with a makeshift means of transport, she managed to take them with her as far as the Swiss border.
🫡 Arsène Moesch and Josef Brühlmann were waiting there to ensure their safety.
🇨🇭 Thanks to them, Irène, her children, and the mice were able to take refuge in Switzerland.
Although she could no longer continue her research, Irène took advantage of being in this safe country to meet several scientists in Geneva.
She kept them informed of the latest developments and stressed the importance of creating a joint project between nations.
🛡 She knew that Geneva's unique activity would be a key factor in what was to come.

He answered:

🏅 The Apollo Season Medal consists of 3 tiers, earned through Apollo Tokens by participating in:
🔘First Saturday events onsite (2,500 per month)
🔘Daily Bounties (10 each and 10 per milestone completed)
🔘The Global Campaign (up to 10,000 and additional 3-tiered medal)
🔘Anomalies (up to 5,000)
🔘3 free Dispatch operations (up to 2,500 each)
Tiers:
⭐️ Gold = 16,000 Apollo Tokens
⭐ Silver = 8,000 Apollo Tokens
⭐ Bronze = 4,000 Apollo Tokens
💡 Apollo Season Points can be earned for the Resistance through:
🔘First Saturday events onsite (0.1 per attending Agent, max 750)
🔘The Global Campaign (up to 2,000)
🔘Anomalies (up to 300 per site)
