🇹🇼 TAIWAN’S SNEAKY SEPTICYCLE BATTLE BEACON OP! 🔥 🔑 Resistance agents in Taiwan pulled off an impressive operation during Septicycle 39, securing nearly 800 Battle Beacons and 7,200 points towards the Cygnus Global Battles faction score! ❔ They took advantage of the NIA-deployed Battle Beacons triggered by portal scanning. Agents coordinated more than 6,000 portal scans to trigger approximately 870 Battle Beacons at the Septicycle end, which fell at 3 AM local time. 🥷 While most of Taiwan was sleeping, the Resistance secured nearly 800 of those beacons, adding a massive 7,200 points to the faction’s global total! 💙 And the most impressive part? All that scanning and coordination was done purely for the faction, not for personal medals! Thousands of scans, hundreds of beacons, and one common goal: securing points for the Resistance! 🙌 The organizers want to give a huge shout-out to every agent who took part. THANK YOU for supporting this crazy idea and helping make it happen! #Cygnus #GlobalBattles	2 116
📞🏆Dial-a-BAF: Queensland Edition 📱🇦🇺 From one agent to another Agent 1: We need a BAF! Agent 2: I have a plan! Eventually more agents get to help make it happen...and Hello BAF! Well, it's not as easy as that. Especially with how vast and wide Australia can be! Also, the finding the agents willing to travel so far to make it happen are like pink diamonds- as in rare and beautiful. Over several weeks around October, 15 Queensland Resistance agents worked together to plan, collect keys, clear links and throw 21 fields spanning form the centre of Queensland to New Caledonia with a very impressive spine in the middle of Brisbane City. ⚠️It covered one third of Queensland and scored 14.4 Million MU for the Resistance. 💙🎉 Many agents travelled far on various vehicles, including one mad lad riding a ebike on a rainy day. Some may have muttered the odd four-lettered swear word under their breath, but all were ecstatic to see their work on their scanners once the fields were thrown. 🏴Agents involved:🏴 MagnetoFlux, 54Moira, 56kens, Tzlia, archer005, baysideguy, Nanorf, sunsetjude, BlueTonic5, Cannit, littleTHORN, Tsumomo, GhostTheSecond, ItzWindyyy, CarpeNoctemStar, lovelea Congrats to those involved, especially CapeNoctemStar and lovelea for Onyx Illuminator and Cannit and littleTHORN for new Largest Field and Longest Link stats. You've earned your rest, drinks and to that one mad lad on a ebike- a long hot shower! You are all rare and beautiful. 💎💙 #BAF #IngressSitrep #ResOZ #ResistanceQLD	2 218
⚔️ CYGNUS GLOBAL BATTLES - FINAL FACTION RESULTS ⚔️ Earlier today, Niantic released the results of this month long Faction vs Faction competition and the ENL have narrowly taken it... While the Resistance claimed more bounties per the in-game campaign metric; this statistic, interactions and medals have no influence on and do not reflect the Faction score! The Faction score was determined solely by the BB Checkpoint points earned by winning each of the BB checkpoints - see these below: ⚔️ BB Checkpoint Points 💪 RES 5.037.887 x 5.055.828 ENL ⚔️ Faction Season Points 💪 RES 998.2 x 1001.8 ENL This is a major improvement over our Battle Beacon score in +Beta, but next BB campaign, we want a WIN !! 💙 We've seen truly impressive efforts especially in the later half of this campaign by many Resistance agents globally, closing the gap between factions substantially! 🤝 Huge thanks and kudos to all our Agents who put in the time, resources and effort to deploy / scan / walk the BBs and made sure that all their checkpoints were BLUE !! 🫡 The next Faction battle campaign, the Global Deploy, will begin on the 25th November and also distribute 2000 Season points we very much need!! 🔥 Get ready to deploy and earn Season points for the Resistance, Agents! ℹ️ See the full results and the top 25 faction battle cells here! #EveryPointMatters #BluePoints #EveryAgentCounts #ResistanceUnited #IngressCygnus #CygnusGlobalBattles	2 578
⚔️ It's time for the last BB push! ⚔️ The Cygnus Battle Beacons campaign will conclude globally today / tomorrow, on Wed, October 28th at 18:00 UTC! That means you only have 19 hours to deploy all the remaining Battle Beacons in your inventory to increase our score!! ⚔️ From blue checkpoints of an RBB, RES gains 2/3/4 raw points ⚠️ Feel free to deploy and walk away, if you're sure it stays blue! ⚔️ From blue checkpoints of a VRBB, RES gains 1/2/2/3/4 raw points ⚠️ Remember to re-capture to blue after each CP flip! Once the time runs out, they will revert back to being just a bothersome extra stuff clogging your inventory! Whether you can / have achieve(d) the gold medal or not, every blue BB you deploy increases our chances to win! 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ Season points will be distributed to Factions based on these raw points - a MASSIVE amount - so every checkpoint matters! ℹ️ Need a quick refresher? - check our Cygnus Global Battles info-post on the RGNN website... ℹ️ Come chat to the Global Challenges chat for your last-minute questions and clarifications... Your actions decide the outcome of this campaign! 💙 #EveryPointMatters #EveryAgentCounts #CygnusGlobalBattles #ResistanceUnited #IngressCygnus	3 040
🔑 Norwich Shard Storm ends in 60-10 RES landslide!! 🎤 I caught up with myself, mimtwin, to get a hot take on the Shard Storm poc experience after the Norwich Shard Storm ended with a great result for RES. “A Shard event in Norwich, again!?” This is what we said after we heard the news, thinking back to our 2024 victory in Norwich, UK. Momentary panic set in, until UKRES agents quickly volunteered to help with team building, promotion and strategic ideas too. Then additional Intel from Germany, Finland and Sweden were recruited and we got going in earnest. 🔺 Not everything can be done from far away though and locals spent a full week stealth farming weird and wonderful spots, a zoo, ruined churches and footpath signs, almost entirely in the rain. Except when I was farming Centre Parcs spa which was rather cosier. ☔️ Agents from UK, Germany, Japan, The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic joined Norfolk RES on the (very rainy) day. And they were all very good at staying off comm until the main event. ⚡️ A highlight for us was when a massive blue block link went right through the city centre, to cut off access to some of ENL’s favourite portals. It’s still there! Check it out on Intel. 🚙 After some really hectic hours of battle against a strong opponent, and a lot of time spent in a swamp patting a friendly cow, we ended up tired and happy with our score of RES 60 - ENL 10! 🚂 A big thanks to everyone who struggled through traffic and train chaos to get to Norwich, and stayed out all day in the rain to bring home this epic victory!! 💬 Last word from me - Let’s do this again next year!!!* (*Other UK cities are available) #ShardStorm #Norwich	2 857
🇯🇵 Kōchi, Japan: The Resistance PoC on Their Victory Cygnus Shard Storm Event Day 2🎆🎉 On October 24, the Resistance won in Kōchi, Japan’s only Shard Storm host city. In this interview, Resistance PoC YBking03 looks back on the battle and the teamwork behind the victory. 🔥 Looking back on the victory, how do you feel? I’m really happy we won! We knew Kōchi would be a tough battle. Getting there wasn’t easy, and hotel costs made it harder for people to come. Even so, agents traveled from across Japan, and others helped us remotely. I’m glad we were able to win with everyone’s help. I’ve been involved with the Resistance in different ways over the years, and this event reminded me that you can’t do everything on your own in Ingress. 🔥 What do you think was the key to your victory? I think preparation made the biggest difference. We focused on what we could control and did as much as we could before the event. We were out securing portals the night before, and despite being outnumbered, we captured every portal we had targeted. We’d also thought about how the Enlightened might respond and prepared other options. That helped us adjust when things changed during the battle. 🔥 Was there a particular moment during the battle that stood out to you? One moment that really stands out was getting a link through to a portal in the mountains, where cell reception was unreliable. There were Enlightened agents nearby, so I was feeling the pressure, but everyone worked well together, and we managed to get the link through quickly. 🔥As a leader, what was your toughest decision or biggest challenge? Deciding what to prioritize and where to send people was the hardest part. We had limited numbers and very little time. Kōchi was the only Shard Storm location in Japan. For many agents, getting there required a lot of time and money, so there was a limit to how many people could come. We had to consider what we were up against and what our team could realistically do. A plan only works if you have people who can carry it out, pass on information, and respond when something changes. My decisions affected all of them, and I felt that responsibility. But I had a lot of support from the team, which helped me get through it. 🔥 How did you feel about the teamwork and the agents’ contributions during the Shard Storm? I feel this win belonged to everyone who helped. We couldn’t have carried out our plans without the agents on the ground and everyone supporting us remotely. In Ingress, the agents at the portals tend to get the attention. There’s also a lot of work behind the scenes that people don’t always see. This time, I really felt how much we depended on those efforts. 🔥 Finally, do you have a message for the agents who fought alongside you? Thank you to everyone who took part in or supported the Kōchi Shard Storm! Some of you traveled a long way to be there. Others helped behind the scenes or cheered us on from afar. We couldn’t have won without you, and your support kept me going until the end. Of course I’m happy we won, but being able to plan and fight alongside you all meant even more to me. I’m looking forward to seeing you at the next battle! 📰A great win for our agents in Kōchi! Thanks to YBking03 for sharing the team’s story, and to every agent who played a part in this victory.🎆 #CygnusShardStorm #BlueStorm #ResistanceUnited #EveryPointMatters #EveryAgentCounts #TogetherWeStand	3 305
