#Definition Heart Failure يُعرّف بأنه clinical syndrome يكون فيه current أو prior symptoms و/أو signs ناتجة عن structural أو functional cardiac abnormality تقلل قدرة ventricle(s) على fill بالدم أو eject الدم. ولازم يكون مدعوم (corroborated) بواحد على الأقل من الآتي: 1. #Congestion: وجود دليل على Cardiogenic Pulmonary congestion أو Systemic congestion. 2. #Biomarkers: ارتفاع مستوى Natriuretic Peptide levels في الدم. #Objective Evidence: وجود دليل physical أو imaging يبين systemic أو pulmonary congestion.
