✅ Born as Lachman Dev at Rajouri (Jammu & Kashmir).
✅ Became a disciple of Guru Gobind Singh, who renamed him Banda Singh Bahadur.
✅ Renowned Sikh warrior and commander of the Khalsa Army.

✅ Defeated Mughal forces and established Khalsa rule in parts of Punjab.
✅ Captured Samana (1709) and later Sirhind (1710), defeating Wazir Khan, the governor responsible for the execution of Guru Gobind Singh’s younger sons.
✅ Abolished the Zamindari system and granted land ownership rights directly to cultivators.
✅ Issued Nanak Shahi coins and official seals, symbolising Sikh sovereignty.
