🌺🌺 Honor, Power and Glory in this World and in the Hereafter come only by obeying Allah 🌺🌺
﴿مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ جَمِيعاً﴾
(Whosoever desires Al-
Izzah then to Allah belongs all Al-Izzah.) means, whoever desires honor, power and glory in this world and the next, let him be obedient towards Allah, may He be exalted. This will help him reach his goal, for Allah is the Sovereign of this world and the Hereafter, and to Him belong all honor, power and glory. This is like the Ayat:
﴿الَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْكَـفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ العِزَّةَ للَّهِ جَمِيعاً ﴾
(Those who take disbelievers for protectors instead of believers, do they seek Al-Izzah with them Verily, then to Allah belongs all honor, power and glory.) (4:139)
﴿وَلاَ يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ للَّهِ جَمِيعاً﴾
(And let not their speech grieve you, for all Al-Izzah belongs to Allah) (10:65).
﴿وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَـكِنَّ الْمُنَـفِقِينَ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ﴾
(But Al-Izzah belongs to Allah, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites know not) (63:8). Mujahid said:
﴿مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْعِزَّةَ﴾
(Whosoever desires Al-Izzah) means, by worshipping idols,
﴿فَإِنَّ العِزَّةَ للَّهِ جَمِيعاً﴾
(then to Allah belongs Al-Izzah).
﴿مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْعِزَّةَفَإِنَّ العِزَّةَ للَّهِ جَمِيعاً﴾
(Whosoever desires Al-Izzah then to Allah belongs Al-`Izzah.) means, let him seek honor, power and glory through obeying Allah, may He be glorified.

Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Judges are of three types, one of whom will go to Paradise and two to Hell. The one who will go to Paradise is a man who knows what is right and gives judgment accordingly; but a man who knows what is right and acts tyrannically in his judgment will go to Hell; and a man who gives judgment for people when he is ignorant will go to Hell.
Abu Dawud said: On this subject this is the soundest tradition, that is, the tradition of Ibn Buraidah: Judges are of three types.
This Hadith (Sunan Abi Dawud 3573) emphasizes the severe accountability of judges and leaders in Islam. It classifies judges into three types: one who knows the truth and rules justly (Paradise); one who knows the truth but rules unjustly (Hell); and one who rules in ignorance (Hell).
Key Interpretations of the Types of Judges:
The One in Paradise: A judge who possesses knowledge of the truth (Shari'ah) and passes judgment based on that knowledge.
The First Type in Hell: A judge who knows the right, but acts tyrannically, biassed, or unjustly, ignoring the truth for personal gain or corruption.
The Second Type in Hell: A judge who rules without knowledge (ignorant of the facts or the law). This applies even if they accidentally pass a just judgment, because they took a position of authority without being qualified.

| 3 | 🤲 Even for Shoelaces — Ask Allāh 🤲
— A beautiful reminder from our mother, ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها
“Ask Allāh for everything, even shoelaces, because if Allāh does not make it easy for you to obtain it, you will not obtain it.”
(Musnad Abū Yaʿlā, vol. 8, p. 44)
SubḥānAllāh — how many times do we only make duʿā’ for “big things”?
Jobs. Marriage. Health. Forgiveness.
But ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها — the most knowledgeable woman of this ummah — taught us:
🔹 Ask Allāh even for shoelaces.
🔹 Ask for a pen, a ride, a safe walk home, a recipe to succeed, a heart to stay firm.
Because nothing is too small for Ar-Razzāq.
And nothing is too easy without His help.
🛐 Duʿā isn’t just for crisis — it’s for every moment.
It’s a sign that you trust Allāh controls everything.
📌 If it’s in your life, Allāh allowed it.
📌 If it’s missing from your life, Allāh withheld it — with wisdom.
📌 And if you never asked Allāh for it, maybe that’s why it never came.
So ask. Again and again. Even for your shoelaces. | 398 |
| 4 | Ibn ul-Qayyim (رحمه اللّه) said:
“The heart’s safety and soundness cannot be perfected, absolutely, until it is secure from five things:
- From shirk which nullifies taw’heed
- From bid’ā (innovation) which opposes the Sunnah
- From a desire/lust that opposes the command (of Allaah)
- From heedlessness that contradicts remembrance (of Him)
- From a desire that nullifies purity and sincerity (in intent and purpose)
These five are barriers to Allaah and beneath each of them are many other categories that contain unique issues which cannot be enumerated.”

| 6 | The Meaning of “As-Salāmu ʿAlaykum”
It has been said that the intended meaning is the Name of Allah, As-Salām (The Source of Peace), for As-Salām is one of Allah’s Names. Thus, “As-Salāmu ʿAlaykum” means: May the Name of Allah be upon you; that is, may you be under Allah’s protection and care.
It has also been said that it is a supplication for safety and protection from afflictions in both religion and worldly affairs.
And it has been said that it means: May peace and well-being accompany you and remain with you. This is why it is followed by
”(wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh)” — and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
What appears most correct is that all of these meanings are intended within the greeting of salām. Therefore, saying “As-Salāmu ʿAlaykum” means: May the Name of Allah be upon you, so that you are under His protection and guardianship; may Allah grant you safety from the harms of religion and worldly life; and may peace and well-being remain with you — along with Allah’s mercy and blessings.
Thus, when you greet your Muslim brother with this salutation, it is as though you are offering him all of these supplications.

| 7 | They Knew The Reason For Their Punishment
It was said to Abū Sulaimān al-Daaraanee رحمه الله: “Why is it that the intelligent ones have ceased to blame those who had offended them?
He said: “They knew that it was Allāh who had put them to trials because of their sins.”

| 8 | You do not need to force joy into your heart when it refuses to bloom over a certain matter. The absence of happiness does not mean the absence of faith. Sometimes, your soul will ache, your eyes will well, and your heart will be silent in confusion. And yet, in the stillness of that pain, there is a deeper contentment because you know this matter, as heavy as it feels, was written by Allah with perfect wisdom.
It was chosen for you not to punish you, but to guide you, to purify you, or to protect you from what you do not see. The Salaf would surrender their hearts to Qadr, not because it always felt easy, but because they had full conviction that the One who decrees does so with complete knowledge, perfect wisdom, and boundless mercy. You do not need to be happy about every turn life takes, but you must strive to be pleased that Allah is the One turning the pages. That is a higher station: rida—being content, even when joy is absent.
And in that quiet submission, there is a beauty the dunya cannot understand. A peace that grows not from outcomes, but from trust in the One who never errs.
Prophet ﷺ said
Verily, the eyes shed tears and the heart is grieved, yet we will not say anything but what is pleasing to our Lord.

| 9 | 💎 *_Be the First in Your Family_*
🌸 _To abandon traditions that_ *contradict the Qur'an and Sunnah.*
🌸 _To revive the Sunnah, even if people mock you for it._
🌸 _To abandon every practice that displeases Allah, no matter how common,_ *accepted*, _or deeply rooted it may be._
🌸 _To choose a simple nikah over a lavish wedding._
🌸 _To honour hijab, modesty, and chastity without compromise._
🌸 _To put Allah's commands above culture, customs, and people's opinions._
🌸 _To make the Qur'an a daily companion in your home._
🌸 _To raise children upon tawheed, Sunnah, and righteous character._
🌸 _To break cycles of heedlessness and replace them with generations of faith._
🌸 _To be remembered as the one who changed the direction of the family for the sake of Allah._
💎 _Do not wait for your family to change._
_Be the one who changes._
_Be the one who revives the Sunnah._
_Be the one who says,_ *_“We hear and we obey.”_*
_And let your descendants benefit from that decision long after you have returned to Allah._ | 466 |

" The people of desires try to conceal everything(from their misguidance ) aside association and companionship."

| 13 | Al-Imam Abu Nuaym al-Asfahani رحمه الله said,
"The Muslim must understand the value of his life, increase his worship of Allah and persist in doing good deeds until the moment of death. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
"And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty." [al-Hijr 15:99] The mufassireen (commentators) said,
"‘The certainty’ means death."
"But as for him who repented, believed and did righteous deeds, then he will be among those who are successful." [al-Qasas 28:67]
The Muslim should make sure that he does not miss any of these important occasion, because time is passing quickly. Let him prepare himself by doing good deeds which will bring him reward when he is most in need of it, for no matter how much reward he earns, he will find it is less than he needs; the time of departure is at hand, the journey is frightening, delusions are widespread, and the road is long, but Allah is ever watchful, and to Him will we return and render account. As the Qur’an says (interpretation of the meaning):
"So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom, shall see it,
And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom, shall see it."
[al-Zalzalah 99:7-8]
There is much to be gained, so make the most of the opportunity afforded by these invaluable and irreplaceable ten days. Hasten to do good works, before death strikes, before one can regret one’s negligence and failure to act, before one is asked to return to a place where no prayers will be answered, before death intervenes between the hopeful one and the things he hopes for, before you are trapped with your deeds in the grave.
O you whose hard heart is as dark as the night, is it not time that your heart was filled with light and became soft? Expose yourself to the gentle breeze of your Lord’s mercy during these ten days, for Allah will cause this breeze to touch whomever He wills, and whoever is touched by it will be happy on the Day of Judgement. May Allah bless our Prophet Muhammad and all his Family and Companions."

| 14 | One of the mistakes many practising Muslims make after Allah blesses them with guidance is that they forget their own past.
They forget the years they spent in heedlessness.
They forget the sins they used to commit.
They forget the countless reminders they heard but turned away from.
They forget how long it took for the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah to truly reach their hearts.
Then, all of a sudden, they expect everyone around them to change overnight.
A brother finds guidance today and becomes upset that his father still does not pray in the congregation, despite being reminded for a few weeks. Or that he has not yet grown a beard.
A sister starts practising and becomes frustrated that her mother is still falling short in her Hijab or struggling to leave certain habits behind.
They speak harshly.
They become impatient.
They look down upon the very people who loved them, raised them, fed them, and carried them through life.
But stop and think for a moment.
How many years did Allah give you before you changed?
How many reminders did you hear before your heart softened?
How many chances did Allah give you before you finally turned back to Him?
If Allah had dealt with us according to what we deserved, where would we be today?
Guidance is not a reason to become arrogant.
It is a reason to become more humble.
Because every righteous person knows that had Allah not guided them, they would still be lost.
Allah said:
Had it not been for the grace of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would ever have been purified. (Qur'an 24:21)
When it comes to our parents, Allah did not merely command us to call them to the truth.
He commanded us to accompany them with kindness:
And keep company with them in this world with kindness.(Qur'an 31:15)
Never let your commitment to the Qur'an and Sunnah make you forget the patience Allah showed you before you found your way back to Him.
The people around you may simply be at a different stage of the same journey.
Treat them with the patience, mercy, and gentleness that you once needed yourself.
And never look down upon someone who is struggling with something Allah has already helped you overcome.
The only reason you stand where you stand today is because Allah guided you.
Not because you had more Taqwa.
Not because there was something special about you.
Not because you deserved guidance.
Only because Allah was merciful to you. | 543 |
| 15 | Ibn al-Jawzi (رحمه الله) said:
“Trusting people unconditionally and befriending anyone is one of the greatest mistakes, because the worst enemies are those who were once your friends, for they have been exposed to your secrets.”

| 16 | One of the most beautiful teachings we can learn from the Salafus Saleh is:
Someone who is truly striving to be sincere in Islam becomes HARDER with herself/himself before anyone else.
They notice their own sins more. They worry more about their intentions. They remember how much they fall short in private.
The more knowledge someone gains, the less amazed they become with themselves.
But the one who becomes impressed with themselves? You’ll notice they are always scanning people without even evaluating their own shortcomings and flaws.
Always exposing. Always focused on others. Always talking about everybody else’s issues while speaking about themselves as if they are already safe from hypocrisy.
This is very dangerous. And this isn’t a new behavior.
Our scholars spoke about this kind of people.
قال بكر بن عبد الله المزني رحمه الله:
«إذا رأيتَ الرجلَ موكَّلًا بعيوب الناس ناسِيًا لعيبه، فاعلم أنه قد مُكر به»
“If you see a man constantly occupied with the faults of others while forgetting his own faults, know that he has been deceived.”

Meanwhile TODAY…
some of us can BARELY control our tongues, fix our characters, apply the sound knowledge, or live by the most basic principles, yet we talk as though Jannah is already guaranteed for us.
May Allah protect our hearts and grant us sincerity in seeking sound and correct Islamic knowledge, knowledge that pushes us to work on ourselves instead of constantly magnifying the faults of others.
