OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS DEVOTIONAL DATE: SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH 2026 TOPIC: DON'T DRIFT MEMORISE: Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12 BIBLE READING: HEBREWS 2:1-3 KJV [1] Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. [2] For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; [3] How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; MESSAGE: The Bible, in Colossians 4:14 and Philemon 1:24, makes references to the life of Demas, a co-labourer with Paul. Despite his close relationship with Apostle Paul, he fell back into sin. This shows that no one is immune to backsliding. Backsliding does not happen at once; it happens gradually. The devil can make the process slow, so that a believer will not even realise it until he or she has already drifted far from God's will. It may start by reducing the time spent on prayer and Bible study each day and gradually lead to staying a whole day without praying or studying the Bible. Soon, the devil might even suggest that such a person replace attending church in person with joining services online for the sake of convenience. My dear child, examine your heart to see whether you're still following Jesus. Do you still pray, fast, meditate on the word, obey divine instructions, and evangelise as you did when you first gave your life to Christ? If you sense that you're no longer on fire for God, please return to Him now, and cry out for a revival. KEY POINT: Examine yourself daily to help you stay on God's path. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: LUKE 2:25-52; JOSHUA 7-8 AUTHORS: PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE & PASTOR MRS FOLU ADEBOYE HYMN 2: I AM THINE O LORD 1. I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice, And it told Thy love to me; But I long to rise in the arms of faith, And be closer drawn to Thee. CHORUS: Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, To the cross where Thou hast died; Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, To Thy precious, bleeding side. 2. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord, By the pow’r of grace divine; Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope, And my will be lost in Thine. 3. O the pure delight of a single hour That before Thy throne I spend, When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God, I commune as friend with friend! 4. There are depths of love that I cannot know Till I cross the narrow sea There are heights of joy that I may not reach Till I rest in peace with Thee.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19TH 2026 TOPIC: GREATER IS THE END MEMORISE: "Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase." Job 8:7 BIBLE READING: ECCLESIASTES 7:8 8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. MESSAGE: In life, the end of anything must be given more attention than its beginning. I am the son of a farmer, who was so poor that poor people called him poor. For the first 18 years of my life, I didn't own any shoes, but God has transformed me into someone who is celebrated all over the world today. Child of God, what is essential in life is not how your life began, but how it progresses and ultimately ends. No matter how rough your past may have been, you must forge ahead and not allow it to weigh you down. If you were a terrible sinner, for instance, you must note that you are now born again, and you must not think that God cannot use you like He is using others. Your former nature is gone; you are born again, and you are a new person altogether (2 Corinthians 5:17). Some may have believed that Elisha had already reached his peak as a prosperous farmer in 1 Kings 19:19, but in truth, God's greater purpose for his life had only just begun. When the hand of the Lord came upon him, he became a renowned prophet with access to kings, nations, and economies. When you truly walk with Jesus, your past achievements will pale in comparison to the glory God will reveal through you. 2 Corinthians 3:1-18 discusses the ministry of condemnation and the ministry of righteousness. Here, Paul was comparing Moses' ministry with Jesus' ministry. Although Moses' ministry was temporary, it was still described as glorious, but its glory was nothing compared to the eternal and enduring glory of Jesus Christ. Whatever glory you think you have experienced in your life up until now pales in comparison to what God has in store for you. Beloved, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain when you surrender to Jesus. In Acts 2, after the Holy Spirit came upon Peter and the other apostles, he preached the gospel and warned his listeners to save themselves from the corrupt generation in which they lived (Acts 2:40). I also urge you to save yourself from this corrupt generation. Just as those who heard Peter received his word gladly and were baptised (Acts 2:41), I encourage you to receive this word gladly. I pray that the Almighty God will keep leading you from glory to glory, in Jesus' name. KEY POINT: No matter how your past has been, God has designed a glorious end for you. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Amos 5-9 HYMN 20: I'M PRESSING ON THE UPWARD WAY 1. I'm pressing on the upward way, New heights I'm gaining every day; Still praying as I onward bound, "Lord, plant my feet on higher ground." Chorus: Lord, lift me up and let me stand, By faith, on Heaven's tableland; A higher plane than I have found; Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. 2. My heart has no desire to stay Where doubts arise and fears dismay; Though some may dwell where those abound, My prayer, my aim, is higher ground. 3. Beyond the mist I fain would rise, To rest beneath unclouded skies. Above earth's turmoil peace is found, By those who dwell on higher ground. 4. I long to scale the utmost height, Though rough the way, and hard the fight, My song, while climbing, shall resound Lord, lead me on to higher ground. 5. Lord, lead me up the mountain side, I dare not climb without my Guide; And, heaven gained, I’ll gaze around, With a grateful heart from higher ground!

Hello. Good day Beloved. Today, we receive the Grace to hold unto God and let Him work through us to fulfil His perfect will for our lives in Jesus' name.

TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH 2025 TOPIC: WORLDLY TRENDS MEMORISE: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 BIBLE READING: 1 JOHN 2:15-17 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. MESSAGE: It is sad to see some Christians copying the world when they should be setting standards in righteousness. Some Christians now dress like the people of the world, sing Worldly songs and bring in worldly dance steps into the church. God is not happy with us Being a Christian makes you a salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13), which means that you are to bring savour to the world, and not copy or follow its sinful ways or trends. The people of the world wish they could folow and embrace the way of Christ and that is why you exist as the salt of the earth. However, if you begin to copy their ways it becomes difficult for such people to leave their lifestyle. My dear child, the ways of God can never be outdated. Everything God has and offers is better than what the world offers. Therefore, you don't have to dress sing or dance like the people of the world. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you livea holy life so that when sinners see your way of life, they will want to copy you. Don't adopt worldly cultures; strive to be perfect reflection. KEY POINT: As a child of God, the world should copy you AUTHOR PASTOR E A ADEBOYE AND PASTOR MRS FOLU ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: LUKE 2:1-24 JOSHUA 4-6 HYMN 1 - ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS' NAME 1 All hail the power of Jesus' name! Let angels prostrate fall. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all! 2 O seed of Israel's chosen race now ransomed from the fall, hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all. Hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all! 3 Let every tongue and every tribe responsive to his call, to him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all. To him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all! 4 Oh, that with all the sacred throng we at his feet may fall! We'll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all. We'll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18TH 2026 TOPIC: PERMEATING ANOINTING MEMORIZE: "The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands." Psalm 138:8 (KJV) BIBLE READING: 2 KINGS 13:21 21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet. MESSAGE: In Mark 8:22-25, Jesus spat on the eyes of a blind man, laid His hand on him and asked if he could see. The blind man looked up and said that he saw men as trees, walking. Someone else would have been content with this miracle- at least the blind man could now see. However, Jesus touched the man a second time, and he began to see properly. That is a good example of how the anointing is meant to flow through the life of the anointed. Elisha was another fellow whom the anointing permeated every part of his life, such that even his dried bones still raised the dead, long after he had died. I have seen some anointed individuals build thriving ministries, but upon closer inspection of their lives, you will discover that other aspects of their lives are not experiencing the same level of growth. This ought not to be so. Beloved, if you get anointed by God in one area of your life, and you notice that another area of your life is not flourishing as it should, please ask God for an all-round anointing that will permeate every area of your life. Do not be satisfied with being anointed in just one area of your life; seek that God's anointing should permeate all areas of your life. Many years ago, a man invited me to his home in Houston, Texas. After I left, he sat in the chair I occupied during my visit and prayed. Within a few days, he received the miracle he asked God for when he prayed. He told his friends what happened, and they all began to come to his house to sit on the same chair and pray. When they all received the miracles they asked God for, news spread quickly, and many more people began to visit the man's home. The man became frustrated by the crowd of people, so he took the chair into his bedroom and placed an identical chair in its place. He thought that people would stop coming when they pray and do not receive any miracles. However, people continued to troop into his home, praying and receiving miracles. What the man didn't know was that the anointing did not stop on the chair; it went right into the floor the chair was on. Beloved, seek to be anointed by God and ask that the anointing should permeate every area of your life, in Jesus' name. PRAYER POINT: Father, please let the anointing permeate every area of my life, in Jesus' name. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: AMOS 1 - 4 HYMN 24: I WANT TO BE LIKE JESUS 1. I want to be like Jesus, So lowly and so meek For no one marked an angry word That ever heard Him speak. 2. I want to be like Jesus So frequently in prayer Alone upon the mountain-top He met His Father there. 3. I want to be like Jesus I never, never find That He, though persecuted, was To any one unkind. 4. I want to be like Jesus Engaged in doing good So that of me it may be said "He hath done what he could" 5. I want to be like Jesus Who sweetly said to all "Let little children come to me" I would obey the call. 6. But oh, I’m not like Jesus As any one may see O gentle Saviour, send Thy Grace, And make me like to Thee.

Hello. Good day Beloved. Today, we receive the Grace to let God's anointing permeate every area of our lives for His Glory in Jesus' name.

*TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL* _DATE: THURSDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER 2026_ *THEME: NO LITTLE SIN* *AUTHOR:* PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE *MEMORISE:* There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 *BIBLE READING : GENESIS 3:1-6* 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. 4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. *MESSAGE:* The devil can use one little' sin to get many Christians into his trap. He might tempt them by saying something like, "You have been faithful as a Christian all your life; a little sin will not matter" He can further tell them that they can just ask God for forgiveness after committing a sin. Unfortunately, many Christians who have fallen into this trap eventually fall even deeper into sin. The Bible says in Galatians 5:8-9 that, “This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump." Don't fall for the devil's deception and allow yourself to be involved in a 'little' sin. That little sin can lead you to hell. There is no little sin in God's sight; sin is sin, and the wages of sin is death. My dear child, separate yourself from anything that will make you sin against God. His grace is available to help you overcome any temptation in your life. In today's memory verse, the Bible says that you will not be tempted beyond what you can bear. If you are facing any temptation right now, all you need to do is to ask for God's help before it is too late. Take a moment, and ask Him to help you right nOw. *KEY POINT:* Father, please help me to overcome every temptation, in Jesus' name. *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* Luke 1:24-56, Deuteronomy 33-34 *HYMN : 55- CHRISTIAN, SEEK NOT YET REPOSE* 1 Christian, Seek Not Yet Repose; Hear Thy Guardian Angel Say, "Thou Art In The Midst Of Foes: Watch And Pray!" 2 Principalities And Powers, Mustering Their Unseen Array, Wait For Thy Unguarded Hours: "Watch And Pray." 3 Gird Thy Heavenly Armour On; Wear It Every Night And Day Ambush'd Lies The Evil One: "Watch And Pray." 4 Hear The Victors Who O'ercame; Still They Mark Each Warrior's Way; All With One Sweet Voice Exclaim, "Watch And Pray!" 5 Hear, Above AlI, Hear Thy Lord, Him Thou Lovest To Obey; Hide Within Thy Heart His Word: "Watch And Pra!." 6 Watch, As If On That Alone Hung The Issue Of The Day; Pray, That Help May Be Sent Down: Watch And Pray.
