TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SATURDAY JULY 25TH 2026 TOPIC: THE CALL TO WRESTLE MEMORISE: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 BIBLE READING: EPHESIANS 6:10-18 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; MESSAGE: Every Christian is called to wrestle against the devil and his cohorts. The battle we are called to fight as Christians, however, does not involve the use of physical weapons such as guns; it is a call to war against the enemies of our salvation – mentally and spiritually. For example, Christians are to constantly engage in a fight against sinful thoughts because the devil uses such thoughts to lead believers astray. Today's Bible reading tells us that we should put on the whole armour of God, as we are constantly in battle with powers, principalities, and rulers of the darkness of this world. We are to confront the devil with the word of God and wage war against him with My dear child, to survive as a Christian in these last days, you have to make the Word of God your companion. Also, you must be cultivate a lifestyle of prayer. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, "Pray without ceasing." When you arm yourself with the Word of God and constant prayers, you Will be invincible to the forces of darkness. Quiz: List the pieces of armour mentioned in Ephesians 6:14-18. KEY POINT: The weapons of our warfare are not physical but spirituual. AUTHOR: PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE AND PASTOR MRS FOLU ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: LUKE 5:17-39, JOSHUA 19-20 HYMN 55 - CHRISTIAN, SEEK NOT YET REPOSE 1 Christian, Seek Not Yet Repose; Hear Thy Guardian Angel Say, "Thou Art In The Midst Of Foes: Watch And Pray!" 2 Principalities And Powers, Mustering Their Unseen Array, Wait For Thy Unguarded Hours: "Watch And Pray." 3 Gird Thy Heavenly Armour On; Wear It Every Night And Day Ambush'd Lies The Evil One: "Watch And Pray." 4 Hear The Victors Who O'ercame; Still They Mark Each Warrior's Way; All With One Sweet Voice Exclaim, "Watch And Pray!" 5 Hear, Above AlI, Hear Thy Lord, Him Thou Lovest To Obey; Hide Within Thy Heart His Word: "Watch And Pra!." 6 Watch, As If On That Alone Hung The Issue Of The Day; Pray, That Help May Be Sent Down: Watch And Pray.

HYMN 21: MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS 1. My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly lean on Jesus’ name. Chorus: On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand. 2. When darkness veils His lovely face, I rest on His unchanging grace; In every high and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil. 3. His oath, His covenant, His blood, Support me in the whelming flood; When all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay. 4. When He shall come with trumpet sound, Oh, may I then in Him be found; In Him, my righteousness, alone, Faultless to stand before the throne.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SATURDAY JULY 25TH 2026 TOPIC: PUT JESUS FIRST MEMORIZE: "I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved." Psalm 16:8 (KJV) BIBLE READING: 1 KINGS 17:8-16 8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, 9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. 11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand. 12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. 15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah. MESSAGE: One of the ways that believers can preserve and maintain their position as children of God is by putting Him first in everything. In Genesis 22:1-18, God tested Abraham to find out who was more important in his life: God's gift to him (Isaac) or the Giver of the gift (God). He asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son, and he passed the test. Abraham put God first and chose to obey Him. He knew that the God who quickened his dead body to bear a son could also raise his son from death (Hebrews 11:17-19). When he passed the test, the Almighty God made a promise to multiply him exceedingly, and today, Abraham's seed can be found everywhere. When you put God first, He will single you out for mighty miracles. In today's Bible reading, a man of God met a widow and asked her for food. The widow responded that all she had was just enough for her and her son to make one last meal before they die. However, she eventually gave up the meal to feed the prophet, and for the rest of the famine, she and her son didn't suffer hunger. In Luke 4:25-26, the Bible tells us that there were many widows in the land of Israel whom Elijah could have been sent to at that time. However, I believe that God singled her out for an unending supply because He knew that she would put Him first. One way to put God first in your life is to give Him your firstfruits. I find it surprising when some people struggle to offer their firstfruits to God. In Proverbs 3:9-10, God says that when you honour Him with your firstfruits, your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine. You cannot put God first in your finances and experience scarcity or lack. Just do as God has said and leave the rest to Him. Another way to put God first is to make His priorities your priority. One of the most important things to God is the salvation of souls. In Luke 19:10, Jesus said that He came to seek and save the lost. Winning souls and making disciples are important to God; therefore, they should be important to you also. Beloved, tell others about Jesus today, and become actively involved in their spiritual growth. Go the extra mile to ensure that someone else follows Jesus, and the Almighty God will single you out for His marvellous miracles. PRAYER POINT: Father, please help me to put You first in every area of my life, in Jesus' name. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: ISAIAH 38 - 40

OPEN HEAVEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: FRIDAY JULY 24TH 2026 TOPIC: TALK TO YOUR FATHER DAILY MEMORISE: "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3 BIBLE READING: PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. MESSAGE: What is prayer? To put it as simply as possible, prayer means talking to God. Prayer is one of the greatest privileges we have as Christians because our God is powerful, and He listens when we pray to Him. Therefore, you should feel free to talk to your heavenly Father every day. Just find a quiet place, open your mouth, and commune with Him. Here are a few prayer points to get you started: 1. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of life, and for Your love, mercy, and protection over me and my family. 2. Father, I ask that You help me to love You daily. Please, help me to grow deeper in my relationship with You. 3. Father, please help me to excel in my academics and all my other endeavours. Grant me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. 4. Father, please give me the strength to resist negative peer pressure, and help me to choose my friends wisely. 5. Father, please reveal Your purpose for my life to me, and guide me to walk in it daily, in Jesus’ name. KEY POINT: Prayer is talking to God, just as you talk to your friends. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. 3. O the pure delight of a single hour That before Thy throne I spend, When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God, I commune as friend with friend. 4. There are depths of love that I cannot know Till I cross the narrow sea; There are heights of joy that I may not reach Till I rest in peace with Thee.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: FRIDAY JULY 24TH 2026 TOPIC: SUSTAINING YOUR FREEDOM II MEMORIZE: "Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing." Psalm 100:2 (KJV) BIBLE READING: LUKE 17:12-19 12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. MESSAGE: Yesterday, I discussed how a fellow who has been delivered must praise God to sustain his or her freedom. Today, I will discuss thanksgiving, perpetual worship, and genuine service to the Lord as steps a person must also take to maintain his or her freedom. In today’s Bible reading, ten lepers cried unto Jesus for mercy, and He told them to go and show themselves to the priests. As they went, they discovered that they were healed, but only one of them returned to say “Thank you” to Jesus. He returned praising and glorifying God with a loud voice. He was not shy about giving thanks to God, and Jesus gave him an extra miracle; He made him whole. An African adage says that a child who is grateful for a gift he or she receives today will definitely receive more gifts in the future. When you give thanks to the Almighty God for what He has done for you, beyond retaining what He has given you, you will also position yourself to receive more from Him. Worshipping God perpetually is another step to sustaining deliverance and freedom. In 2 Kings 5:1-17, God delivered Naaman from the yoke of leprosy. After his deliverance, Naaman made up his mind that he would only worship the Almighty God for the rest of his life, and I am sure that his deliverance remained permanent. You must also make up your mind that you will spend your life worshipping God and Him alone. You should also have a place where you can meet with God to worship Him regularly, regardless of its size or unconventional nature. I remember a time when the only place I could worship God without disturbance was in my bathroom. You should also ensure that your heart is always prepared to worship Him at all times. Another key to sustaining deliverance and freedom is to serve God genuinely and wholeheartedly. When the Lord takes away a fellow’s burdens, the fellow should serve Him with his or her whole heart and be committed in the place of service. In Mark 5:1-20 after Jesus had delivered the mad man of Gadara, He told him to go about preaching the gospel to his friends. When you submit yourself as a tool in the hands of God to expand His kingdom, the devil cannot possess you again. I pray that as you thank the Almighty generously, worship Him perpetually, and serve Him wholeheartedly, He will preserve your victories and increase His blessings in your life, in Jesus’ name. PRAYER POINT: Father, please help me to cultivate a heart that thanks You generously, worships You perpetually, and serves You wholeheartedly all the days of my life. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: ISAIAH 35-37 HYMN 7: I AM THINE, O LORD 1. I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice, And it told Thy love to me; But I long to rise in the arms of faith, And be closer drawn to Thee. Refrain: Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, To the cross where Thou hast died; Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord, To Thy precious, bleeding side. 2. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord, By the power of grace divine; Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope, And my will be lost in Thine.
