21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. 29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon. MESSAGE: Today's Bible reading tells us of three young men who stood by their principles and held on to their integritų even when they knew it could cost them their lives. In Daniel 3:1-7, the Bible tells us that King Nebuchadnezzar made a golden idol and commanded his subjects to bow and worship before it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew very well that they should only bow to and worship the God of Israel, so they quietly refused Nebuchadnezzar's command. When the king heard about the young men's refusal to bow to his idol, he commanded his soldiers to throw them into the fiery burning furnace. He then asked, “And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?" (Daniel 3:15). However, before the end of that day Nebuchadnezzar came to the knowledge of the one true God who is able to save His children even from a fiery burning furnace. My dear child, if you are true and faithful to Biblical principles and are committed to a life of honesty and integrity in honour of God, then no challenge or situation will eve be able to overcome you. KEY POINT: No matter the opposition you face, stay faithful to God's principles. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: HYMN 1 - ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS' NAME 1 All hail the power of Jesus' name! Let angels prostrate fall. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all. Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown him Lord of all! 2 O seed of Israel's chosen race now ransomed from the fall, hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all. Hail him who saves you by his grace, and crown him Lord of all! 3 Let every tongue and every tribe responsive to his call, to him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all. To him all majesty ascribe, and crown him Lord of all! 4 Oh, that with all the sacred throng we at his feet may fall! We'll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all. We'll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all.

TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: TUESDAY JULY 28TH 2026 TOPIC: NEVER COMPROMISE MEMORISE: But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up." Daniel 3:18 BIBLE READING: DANIEL 3:1-30 1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. 2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. 3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, 5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: 6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. 7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. 8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. 9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever. 10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image: 11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. 12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. 13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king. 14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? 15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. 19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

I have been shown glimpses of heaven in visions a few times before. Anyone who has experienced the beauty of heaven will not desire to be anywhere else because God's glory lightens the city, and the Lamb is the light in it (Revelation 21:23). Beloved, do everything possible to ensure that you make it to heaven. I pray that I will see you there, in Jesus' name. KEY POINT: Do everything possible to ensure that you make it to heaven. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: ISAIAH 47 - 49 HYMN 20: I'M PRESSING ON THE UPWARD WAY 1. I'm pressing on the upward way, New heights I'm gaining every day; Still praying as I onward bound, "Lord, plant my feet on higher ground." Chorus: Lord, lift me up and let me stand, By faith, on Heaven's tableland; A higher plane than I have found; Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. 2. My heart has no desire to stay Where doubts arise and fears dismay; Though some may dwell where those abound, My prayer, my aim, is higher ground. 3. Beyond the mist I fain would rise, To rest beneath unclouded skies. Above earth's turmoil peace is found, By those who dwell on higher ground. 4. I long to scale the utmost height, Though rough the way, and hard the fight, My song, while climbing, shall resound Lord, lead me on to higher ground. 5. Lord, lead me up the mountain side, I dare not climb without my Guide; And, heaven gained, I’ll gaze around, With a grateful heart from higher ground!

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: TUESDAY JULY 28TH 2026 TOPIC: HEAVENLY HOME MEMORIZE: "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am am, there ye may be also." John 14:3 (KJV) BIBLE READING: REVELATION 21:1-11 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; MESSAGE: Yesterday, I mentioned that some people treat the earth as their home and final resting place. There is, however, another set of people who see heaven as their home and conduct their lives in a way that ensures they will end up there. I am one of such people. I also mentioned yesterday that the earth and everything inside it are temporal. In Revelation 21:1, the Bible says that this earth will pass away someday, then verse 2 says: And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. The Scripture above makes us understand that when the earth passes away, people who did not take the earth as their home, those who remained faithful to Jesus Christ, the Husband of the Church, will be in a new Jerusalem that will descend from God out of heaven. When you read the passage in today's Bible reading further, you will find out that as genuine Christians, we will dwell with God in the same city and be with Him at all times. There will be no more sorrow or weeping for us forever. This is why I do not mind sacrificing anything in this world as long as I make it to heaven. This is because I know that when I get there, it will be joy forevermore. Indeed, as Romans 8:35-39 says, nothing will ever separate me from the love of my Father, and I am determined to spend eternity with Him. This earth is not my home; therefore, nothing here is as important as my goal of making it to heaven. When people see me still going on long prayer walks at my age, travelling from place to place to preach the gospel, giving to the poor, and spending and being spent for God, they may not know it or understand it, but I am laying up treasures for myself in heaven because that is my final destination; that is my home.

TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: MONDAY JULY 25TH 2026 TOPIC: RESISTING TEMPTATION MEMORISE: No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 BIBLE READING: MATTHEW 4:1-4 1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. MESSAGE: Being tempted means to be enticed or convinced to do something wrong. There is a clear example of this in Genesis 3 where the serpent enticed Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. The serpent tried to convince her that there were some hidden advantages she was missing out on by avoiding the fruit God had earlier instructed her and Adam not to eat. Unfortunately, however, Eve fell for the temptation. In today's Bible reading, Jesus was also tempted by the devil, but He overcame the temptation. This tells us that temptations will come, but God has given us the ability to overcome them, as we see in today's memory verse. My dear child, the devil will always try to lure you into doing something bad. For example, disobey your parents, or steal from your parents. However, you should resist whatever temptation he brings your way. Beloved, there will always be a limit to the temptations that come your way. God will never allow you to be tempted above your Capacity to say NO, as today's memory verse tells us. You will always have the choice to say NO and do the right thing. In Eve's case, the snake did not force her to take the fruit; she had a choice to say NO. Keeping the word of God in your heart at all times will help you overcome whatever temptation the devil may bring your way (Psalm 119:11). I pray that the Lord will help you to say NO whenever temptations arise, in Jesus' name. KEY POINT: You will always have the capacity to say NO in the face of temptations. AUTHOR PASTOR E A ADEBOYE AND PASTOR MRS FOLU ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: LUKE 6:2 7-49, JOSHUA 23-24 HYMN: THROUGH THE LOVE OF GOD OUR SAVIOUR 1 Through the love of God our Saviour, All will be well; Free and changeless is His favour, All, all is well: Precious is the blood that healed us; Perfect is the grace that sealed us: Strong the hand stretched forth to shield us, All must be well. 2 Though we pass through tribulation, All will be well; Ours is such a full salvation, All,all is well: Happy still in God confiding; Fruitfull in Christ abiding; Holy through the Spirit's guiding: All must be well. 3 We expect a bright tomorrow; All will be well; Faith can sing through days of Sorrow, All, all is well: On our Father's love relying, Jesus every need supplying, Or in living or in dying, All must be well.

OPEN HEAVEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: TUESDAY MAY 12TH 2026 TOPIC: WISDOM FOR LIFE MEMORISE: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5 BIBLE READING: PROVERBS 3:5-7 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. MESSAGE: Life presents us with choices every day. These choices include who to be friends with, what to wear to an event, what to post on social media, when to speak or be quiet, et cetera. One key thing that is needed to make the right decisions, however, is wisdom. The good news is that God is ready to give wisdom to anyone who asks Him for it. In 1 Kings 3:5-9, Solomon asked God for wisdom, and He granted his request. Not only did God grant his request, He also added abundant blessings to it (1 Kings 3:11-13). Today’s Bible reading enjoins you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean on your understanding. This means that you should rely on God’s wisdom rather than your opinions or emotions. Wisdom is not just about having the right knowledge; it is about applying it in the right way. Sometimes, wisdom means walking away from an argument, choosing to remain honest, or waiting patiently on a queue. My dear child, when faced with tough choices, I encourage you to pause and ask the Lord to give you the wisdom to make the right decision. When you seek Him first, He will direct your steps at all times. PRAYER POINT: Lord, please give me wisdom to make the right decisions always. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. HYMN 10: IN CHRIST ALONE 1. In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song; This Cornerstone, this solid ground, Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace, When fears are stilled, when strivings cease; My Comforter, my All in All; Here in the love of Christ I stand. 2. In Christ alone who took on flesh; Fullness of God in helpless babe. This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones He came to save; 'Til on that cross as Jesus died The wrath of God was satisfied; For every sin on Him was laid; Here in the death of Christ I live. 3. There in the ground His body lay; Light of the world by darkness slain. Then bursting forth in glorious day, Up from the grave He rose again! And as He stands in victory, Sin's curse has lost its grip on me; For I am His and He is mine, Bought with the precious blood of Christ! 4. No guilt in life, no fear in death; This is the power of Christ in me. From life's first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny. No power of hell, no scheme of man Can ever pluck me from His hand; 'Til He returns or calls me home, Here in the power of Christ I stand!

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: MONDAY JULY 27TH 2026 TOPIC: EARTHLY HOME MEMORIZE: "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV) BIBLE READING: ISAIAH 24:1-6 1 Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. 2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. 3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word. 4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. MESSAGE: Many people today conduct their lives as if the earth is their home and final resting place. Such people focus solely on gathering treasures here on earth and practically worship material things. For them, the things that they see and own are far more important than everything else. They want to drive the best cars, live in the biggest houses, eat the most exotic foods, and gather as much money as they can at all costs. All they care about are vain things, and nothing else matters to them. The Bible tells us in James 4:4 that friendship with this world is enmity with God. This means that anyone who loves the things of this world more than anything else, cares so deeply about material things, and is willing to do practically anything to acquire material possessions is an enemy of God. The same Scripture refers to such a fellow as an adulterer or adulteress. This is because, as Christians, God, our Maker, is our Husband (Isaiah 54:4), and He is the One who owns us. Therefore, if someone or something else succeeds in taking our hearts away from our Husband, we are committing adultery. Beloved, I would like you to read today’s memory verse carefully and ensure you memorise it. I would love it if you could make it your watchword henceforth, because it is important to understand that all the things you see around you are temporal. For instance, a car that used to be flashy ten years ago is no longer flashy now. Likewise, the most sophisticated phone ten years ago has become outdated today. The things of this world are temporal and have no eternal value. However, the devil uses them as bait to distract people from things that are truly valuable and those that have eternal consequences. For instance, many young ladies have been lured into engaging in illicit sexual activities because they want to use the latest phones and wear the best clothes. They traded their virginity for material possessions, and they can never recover what they have lost, whereas they can lose what they thought they gained. Child of God, take heed to the words of Jesus in Mark 8:36-37. Nothing on earth today is as valuable as your soul, and nothing is worth losing your soul in hell over. Don’t fall for the devil’s lies; keep your focus on God and His kingdom rather than the things of the world. Earth is not your home; you’re only passing through! PRAYER POINT: Father, please help me to fix my eyes on You alone and not on the things of the world, in Jesus’ name. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: ISAIAH 44-46
