TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SATURDAY OCTOBER 24TH 2026 TOPIC: LIFE IN ABUNDANCE MEMORISE: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10 BIBLE READING: 1 CORINTHIANS 10:31 31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. MESSAGE: Before | gave my life to Christ, I had a lot of friends and colleagues with whom | committed all manner of sins. I thought I was having fun; little did I know that I was in bondage. Thankfully, God saved my soul and gave me everlasting life through the Holy Spirit. My dear child, I know that many young people are afraid of following Jesus Christ because they feel like they will miss out on a lot of fun and excitement in the world, but that is nọt true. Jesus Came to give us life abundantly, meaning that the life He has given you is full of joy and adventure. Living for Christ brings a fellow the freedom to live purposefully and joyfully in a way that impacts other people positively. For example, if you're a creative in the entertainment industry, or a professional in science, engineering, mathematics, education, sports, health, et cetera, you can organise hangouts where you can share the word of God with your colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere. That way, you will be impacting them and your industry positively. Beloved, living for Christ is not boring; the joy He gives cannot be quantified, and it will enable you to live a life that is full of freedom and purpose. KEY POINT: Life in Jesus is not boring. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: LUKE 5:1-16 JOSHUA 16-18 HYMN 4: BE GLAD IN THE LORD AND REJOICE 1 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, All ye that are upright in heart; And ye that have made him your choice, Bid sadness and sorrow depart. Refrain: Rejoice, rejoice! Be glad in the Lord and rejoice! 2 Be joyful, for He is the Lord, On earth and in heaven supreme; He fashions and rules by His word; The Mighty and strong to redeem 3 What though in the conffict for right Your enemies almost prevail, God's armies, just hid from your sight, Are more than the foes which assail. 4 Though darkness surround you by day, Your sky by the night be o'ercast, Let nothing your spirit dismay, But trust till the danger is past. 5 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, His praises proclaiming in song; With harp, and with organ and voice The loud hallelujahs prolong!

4. I long to scale the utmost height, Though rough the way, and hard the fight, My song, while climbing, shall resound Lord, lead me on to higher ground. 5. Lord, lead me up the mountain side, I dare not climb without my Guide; And, heaven gained, I’ll gaze around, With a grateful heart from higher ground!

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: SATURDAY OCTOBER 24TH 2026. TOPIC: NO MORE FAILURE MEMORISE But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. - (1 Corinthians 15:57) BIBLE READING: ROMANS 8:31-37 (KJV) 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. 34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. MESSAGE There was a man who always faced setbacks every time he was close to having a breakthrough. Each time a breakthrough was about to happen in his life, something would truncate it. One day, he was informed that he had won a big contract and was instructed to collect his award letter in Abuja. He was so excited about this that he boarded a plane immediately and headed to Abuja. Unknown to him, the person in charge of the contract had changed his mind and given the contract to someone else. After receiving this news upon his arrival in Abuja, the man decided that he couldn't bear it anymore. He surrendered his life to Jesus, and I prayed for him. The Lord had mercy on him, broke the yoke of failure in his life, and from then on, he began to record one breakthrough after another. Beloved, God wants you to live in victory in all areas of your life. He also wants you to move from one level of success to another. Proverbs 4:18 says, "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day." While following Jesus doesn't exempt you from challenges, God's plan is not for you to live under the shadow of defeat and failure. I once met a boy who consistently failed all his exams, despite his parents being professors. If he moved from a class of 30 pupils to a class of 35 pupils, his position would move from 30th to 35th; he just couldn't help it. His parents got him the best private tutors, yet he continued to fail. One day, his parents brought him to me, and we prayed together. In the next examination he wrote, he came first among his peers. The teachers were shocked, so he was asked to retake the examination. Surprisingly, he scored even higher than he did in his first attempt. Since then, failure has been banished from his life. Beloved, are you experiencing recurring failure? If you are already born again or if you surrender your life to Jesus right now, I have good news for you: the Lord is more than able to deliver you from the cycle of failure. Call on Him for help today, and He will deliver you. He will show you what you must do to start succeeding, and as you do it, you will never know failure again. PRAYER POINT I decree that I will no longer experience failure and defeat in any area of my life, in Jesus' name. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR LUKE 7 - 8 HYMN 20: I'M PRESSING ON THE UPWARD WAY 1. I'm pressing on the upward way, New heights I'm gaining every day; Still praying as I onward bound, "Lord, plant my feet on higher ground." Chorus: Lord, lift me up and let me stand, By faith, on Heaven's tableland; A higher plane than I have found; Lord, plant my feet on higher ground. 2. My heart has no desire to stay Where doubts arise and fears dismay; Though some may dwell where those abound, My prayer, my aim, is higher ground. 3. Beyond the mist I fain would rise, To rest beneath unclouded skies. Above earth's turmoil peace is found, By those who dwell on higher ground.

Hello. Good day Beloved. Today, as we surrender all that concerns us to The Lord, we declare that failure ceases to exist in our lives. I becomes a thing of the past in Jesus' name.

TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: FRIDAY OCTOBER 23RD 2026 TOPIC: BUILD GODLY HABITS MEMORISE: Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2 BIBLE READING : 1 TIMOTHY 4:7-8 7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. MESSAGE: Just as physical fitness requires consistent effort, spiritual growth depends on cultivating godly habits. Today's Bible reading compares physical training to spiritual training, which holds eternal value. As a child of God, you must identify and cultivate habits that will make you grow spiritually. These habits include consistent prayer, Bible study, and worship, and they are very important for any child of God to build a good foundation in God. Such habits will strengthen your faith and equip you to face life's challenges without wavering. Therefore, treat your spiritual life like a gym. Practise godly habits so you can bild godly character and grow your spiritual muscles. My dear child, godly habits can sometimes be difficult to sustain when you are around people who do not believe in them. Therefore, you must stay connected to people who share the same mindset as you in building godly habits. As the adage says, "Show me your friend, and I will tell you who you are." KEY POINT: Be intentional in building godly habits. AUTHOR PASTOR E A ADEBOYE AND PASTOR MRS FOLU ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: LUKE 4:33-44 JOSHUA 14-15 HYMN 30: WHEN WE WALK WITH THE LORD 1 When we walk with the Lord in the light of his word, what a glory he sheds on our way! While we do his good will, he abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey. Refrain: Trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. 2 Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share, but our toil he doth richly repay; not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross, but is blest if we trust and obey. 3 But we never can prove the delights of his love until all on the altar we lay; for the favor he shows, for the joy he bestows, are for them who will trust and obey. 4 Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at his feet, or we'll walk by his side in the way; what he says we will do, where he sends we will go; never fear, only trust and obey.

2. Shun evil companions, Bad language disdain; God’s name hold in reverence, Nor take it in vain; Be thoughtful and earnest, Kindhearted and true; Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through. 3. To him that o’ercometh God giveth a crown, Through faith we shall conquer, Though often cast down; He who is our Saviour Our strength will renew; Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL DATE: FRIDAY OCTOBER 23RD 2026. TOPIC: FLEE LUSTS MEMORISE But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. - (1 Timothy 6:11) BIBLE READING: GENESIS 39:7-12 (KJV) 7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; 9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? 10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. 11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within. 12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. MESSAGE The Bible says that you should resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Elijah is one character in the Bible who really exemplified this principle of resisting the devil. He stood against everyone who opposed God, including the king and all the prophets of Baal. However, when a woman, Jezebel, decided to go after him, he did not stand to resist her; rather, he fled. When the devil decides to tempt you with a member of the opposite sex, don't stand and fight; flee! In 2 Timothy 2:22, the Bible says, "Flee youthful lusts." Child of God, when it comes to sexual temptation, don't fight it; instead, run! I always warn my male children that if the devil comes against them, they should tell him to get lost in Jesus' name. However, if a lady approaches them smiling seductively, they are the ones who should run. You must flee from lust, because you cannot win that battle by standing; you can only win it by fleeing. If you are a man and you find yourself being seduced by a lady, you must flee. It does not matter how anointed you are; run fast! The anointing does not turn the body to stone. Even though Samson was anointed and once single-handedly killed a thousand soldiers, he was overpowered by a woman, and this led to his untimely death. To the ladies, when a man approaches you with words like, 'You look more radiant than the sun. Your smile is brighter than the brightness of a million stars put together', don't be carried away by his flattery. He may be calling you sunshine, but when he finishes with you, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between sunshine and sunset. The Bible says that a flatterer sets a net for his or her neighbour's feet (Proverbs 29:5). My daughter, flee! Even at my age, I am still running from every appearance of evil. This is because the closer you get to the finishing point of a race, the more careful you must be. The devil doesn't relent in his schemes to bring people down because they are old; instead, he wants to put an end to all the great work God has done through them and tarnish their legacies. Beloved, do not toy with sin; flee all forms of lust! God did not tell you that His grace will be sufficient for you when it comes to lust, He asked you to flee! KEY POINT The grace that God has given you to overcome sexual temptation is the grace to flee. AUTHOR: PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR LUKE 5 - 6 HYMN 31: YIELD NOT TO TEMPTATION 1. Yield not to temptation, For yielding is sin; Each victory will help you Some other to win; Fight manfully onward, Dark passions subdue; Look ever to Jesus, He will carry you through. Refrain: Ask the Saviour to help you, Comfort, strengthen, and keep you; He is willing to aid you, He will carry you through.

Hello. Good day Beloved. Today, we receive the Grace to flee lusts and all appearances of evil. We declare that we always remain victorious over them in Jesus' name.

*TEENS OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL* *DATE: THURSDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2026* *THEME: FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE* *AUTHOR:* PASTOR E. A. ADEBOYE *MEMORISE:* There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up. Proverbs 21:20 *BIBLE READING : PROVERBS 6:6-8* 6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: 7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, 8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. *MESSAGE:* Saving money may not seem important to Some young people, but the truth is that there is wisdom in storing up resources for the future. It is not only adults who need financial discipline. You should start learning to save up portions of whatever money you receive because you will soon become an adult. Financial discipline is an essential life skill and a way to honour God with your resources. Someone once said, "Saving Saves" and I believe it does, as it helps to Sort out financial emergencies. A Yoruba adage says, "Don't eat with your ten fingers." This implies that you shouldn't use all your resources at once, but you should always Save some for the future. This principle is demonstrated in the lives of the ants as seen in today's Bible reading. I encourage you to take a cue from them, as they spend time planning for their future. They save food in the summer, which will become their saving grace in winter. My dear child, you can cultivate a savings culture by setting savings goals, which can be daily, weekly, monthly, or as often as you receive money. Also, create a budget to help you allocate your allowances or earnings in the right proportions for your needs. This will help you reduce reckless spending and help you to remain financially disciplined. Be wise; don't eat with your ten fingers. *REFLECTION:* Do you have a savings culture? *BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:* Luke 4:33-44 Joshua 14-15 *HYMN : 67- I'M PRESSING ON THE UPWARD WAY* 1 l'm pressing on the upward way, New heights I'm gaining everyday; Still praying as I onward bound "Lord, plant my feet on higher ground."   *Chorus:* Lord, lift me up and let me stand, By faith, on Heaven's table-land; Where love, and joy, and light abound, Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.    Chorus: 2 My heart has no desire to stay Where doubts arise, and fears dismay; Though some may dwell where these abound, My constant aim is higher ground.     Chorus 3 Beyond the mist I fain would rise, To rest beneath unclouded skies, Above earth's turmoil peace is found By those who dwell on higher ground. 4 | long to scale the utmost height, Though rough the way, and hard the fight, My song, while climbing, shall resound Lord, lead me on to higher ground. 5 Lord, lead me up the mountain side I dare not climb without my Guide; And, heaven gained, I'll gaze around, With grateful heart from higher ground.
