❗️🇺🇸 A shooting near an In-N-Out Burger on Blue Lakes Boulevard in Twin Falls, #Idaho, has left 3 people dead and 2 injured, per the Twin Falls Police Department (via NBC).
It happened around 3 p.m. Saturday (Aug 1) in a busy commercial area near the Twin Falls Visitor Center.
Police have not confirmed whether any of the three dead is the shooter. The number of shooters is unclear — witness footage showed one man with a rifle and, separately, a man firing a pistol.
Authorities were searching for a suspect (including a hotel overlooking the visitor center). The motive is not known. Developing.

Gunner Peschke was filming after the “road exploded” in Greenville during a series of extremely hot days in the region. The City of Greenville said crews "worked through the night to make necessary repairs … due to buckling in the roadway that occurred last night."

🇺🇸 A shooting at #Westfield Wheaton Mall left a 13-year-old injured (Friday night). Police say a 17-year-old suspect fired a handgun multiple times, striking the younger boy in the leg.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and was in stable condition.
An armed security officer apprehended the suspect after fleeing the scene, police said. Montgomery County police recovered a handgun and the incident remains under investigation.

🇺🇸 U.S. Marine Corps Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II fighter jet crashed at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California, on Friday. According to authorities, the incident occurred around 10 a.m.
The plane burned down almost completely after impacting the ground. The Marine Corps confirmed that the pilot has ejected, but his condition remains unknown. The airframe belonged to the Marine Aircraft Group 11 from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.
