Overnight (Tuesday), IDF soldiers, the ISA, and Israel Border Police forces operating in Judea and Samaria launched a large-scale counterterrorism operation in the area of Bethlehem.
As part of the operation, the forces searched approximately 50 structures and apprehended 19 wanted individuals, including arms dealers. In addition, the forces located and confiscated an M-16 rifle, along with ammunition and weapon parts.
In a separate counterterrorism operation in the area of Tulkarm, two wanted individuals were apprehended, and two pistols, along with ammunition, were confiscated.
Since the beginning of 2026, IDF soldiers have confiscated more than 250 weapons and 40 weapon production machines used in the production of weapons, firearms, and explosive devices throughout Judea and Samaria.
The security forces continue to operate throughout Judea and Samaria to thwart terrorism, with the objective of safeguarding the security of residents in the area and the civilians of the State of Israel.

A short while ago, in a separate incident in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area within the Security Zone, IDF soldiers identified four Hezbollah terrorists riding a bulldozer and a motorcycle who had crossed into the security zone and approached the soldiers, posing an immediate threat.
Following the identification, the soldiers conducted warning fire. After the terrorists continued to approach and failed to comply with the soldiers' calls, additional fire was conducted in order to remove the threat. Hits were identified.
The Hezbollah terrorist organization operates under civilian cover in an effort to conceal its terrorist activities. This incident is yet another example of the cynical use the organization makes of Lebanese civilians and civilian infrastructure as a shield for its operations.

| 11 | IDF: More than 240 firearms confiscated since the beginning of 2026: new evidence of terrorist groups embedding themselves in civilian areas in Judea and Samaria
In recent months, IDF troops have located numerous weapons concealed in civilian areas. These included firearms, lathes used to manufacture weapons, ammunition, and additional terrorist equipment.
Since the beginning of 2026 alone, more than 240 firearms and many additional weapons have been confiscated.
One example was uncovered during IDF activity in April, when troops located ammunition for both long-barreled and short-barreled weapons hidden inside a well-known hardware store in the city of Bethlehem, within the Etzion Regional Brigade. The owner of the store was later apprehended.
Another example was uncovered in recent months in the city of Nablus, within the Samaria Regional Brigade, when IDF troops located a lathe used to manufacture weapons in the center of a civilian building. The owner of the site was also apprehended.
These findings provide further evidence of attempts by terrorist groups to establish themselves within civilian areas and exploit civilian infrastructure for terrorist purposes.
The IDF and security forces will continue operating to thwart terrorism throughout Judea and Samaria in order to safeguard the security of Israeli civilians.

The IDF and ISA eliminated a Nukhba terrorist who took part in holding Omer Shem Tov in Hamas captivity
Over the weekend (Saturday), in a precise strike in the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF and ISA eliminated Sabai Zaher Abd al-Hamid Abu Hasna, a Nukhba terrorist in Hamas’ military wing. Throughout the war, Abu Hasna planted explosive devices and recently attempted to advance terrorist attacks targeting IDF troops operating in the area.
Abu Hasna infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th massacre and took part in holding Omer Shem Tov hostage in Hamas captivity.
Alongside Abu Hasna, the strike eliminated Ahmed Samir Muhammad Washah, a terrorist in Hamas’ military wing who simultaneously served as a photojournalist for the Al Jazeera network and as a sniper operative for Hamas.
In an additional strike in the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF eliminated three armed terrorists from Hamas’ military wing who were attempting to advance attacks against IDF troops.

| 15 | IDF: After advancing terrorist attacks: The IDF eliminated two Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip
Over the weekend (Saturday), the IDF struck in the northern Gaza Strip and eliminated Ahmad Munir Khalil Zaza, the engineering officer of Hamas West Jabalia Battalion in Gaza City. The terrorist was involved in the production and distribution of weapons to the battalion's companies and was responsible for the construction of explosive devices and booby-trapped buildings.
In recent months, Zaza attempted to emplace explosive devices near the Yellow Line in order to harm IDF troops operating in the area.
In an additional strike in the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF eliminated the terrorist Hussein Safadi, the commander of Hamas' sniper array in Gaza City.
Throughout the war, Safadi was responsible for directing sniper attacks against IDF troops operating in the area.
Recently, Safadi repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement and attempted to train terrorists and advance additional sniper attacks against IDF troops.

| 16 | IDF: IDF soldiers eliminated two terrorists who hurled Molotov cocktails toward the community of Karmei Tzur
A short while ago, during a targeted counterterrorism operation, the soldiers identified several terrorists who burned tires and hurled Molotov cocktails toward the community of Karmei Zur, endangering lives.
The soldiers opened fire, eliminating two terrorists and neutralizing an additional terrorist. No IDF injuries were reported.
As a result of the burning tires, a fire broke out in the area adjacent to the community. Firefighters are currently operating at the scene to extinguish the fire.
IDF soldiers began searching for the additional terrorists.

| 17 | IDF: Home Front Command defensive guidelines update
Following the situational assessment, it has been decided to update the defensive guidelines.
Starting at 06:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, all restrictions will be lifted in the Confrontation Line area, and the communities of Safsufa, Meron, Or HaGanuz, Bar Yochai, Yesud HaMa’ala, Kisra-Sumei, Beit Jann, and Sde Eliezer will move to a full activity level, with no restrictions, instead of a partial activity level.
The public is requested to continue following Home Front Command instructions. Any changes to the defensive guidelines will be updated to the public through the official platforms of the Home Front Command and the IDF.

The terrorist infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7th massacre and took part in the abduction of Yagil Yaakov.
In a photo collected by the IDF, Abu Mustafa is documented inside Israeli territory during the abduction of Yagil Yaakov from Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7th.
In recent months, Abu Mustafa played a significant role in rebuilding the terrorist organization's military capabilities in the Gaza Strip, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
In addition, the terrorist advanced numerous terrorist attacks against IDF troops and attempted to conduct training for terrorists at Nasser Hospital, while exploiting the hospital to advance terrorist activity.
Due to his recent activities and the immediate threat he posed to IDF troops, Abu Mustafa was eliminated in a precise strike.
In an additional strike, the terrorist Mohammed Osama Abd al-Aziz Saba al-Eish, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist, was eliminated. Al-Eish attempted to advance training and instruction for the organization's terrorists and worked to recruit additional terrorists to the organization.

| 20 | IDF: IDF reveals: An underground terror tunnel containing hundreds of weapons and four launch shafts aimed at the State of Israel was deliberately located under the village of Majdal Zoun
Troops of the 551st Brigade, under the command of the 91st Division, are operating in the area of Majdal Zoun, in accordance with the understandings, approximately 10 kilometers inside Lebanon.
The findings indicate that the village had been fortified and was filled with terrorist infrastructure, including a significant underground terror tunnel that was exposed, further demonstrating Hezbollah’s deliberate modus operandi of embedding terrorist infrastructure within civilian areas.
During the activity, more than 20 Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated, including more than 10 terrorists from the Radwan Force. More than 50 terrorist infrastructure sites were also dismantled, including observation posts and weapons storage facilities. In addition, troops of the Yahalom Unit located a significant underground terror tunnel over 200 meters long and more than 25 meters deep, containing four launch shafts and 12 rooms, including living quarters and rooms used to store explosive devices, anti-tank missiles, and UAVs.
