IDF: IDF soldiers dismantled a Hezbollah underground complex containing hundreds of weapons and four launch shafts directed toward Israeli territory
Earlier today (Sunday), IDF soldiers dismantled an underground Hezbollah terror complex in the area of Majdal Zoun, within the Security Zone in southern Lebanon.
The underground complex was constructed using technology and expertise provided by the Iranian terror regime. The tunnel route was more than 200 meters long and over 25 meters deep. Inside, the soldiers located hundreds of weapons and four launch shafts directed toward Israeli territory.
The IDF will continue to operate in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon to remove any threat posed to IDF soldiers, and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.

Overnight (Sunday), IDF soldiers from the Golani Brigade Combat Team encountered a Hezbollah terrorist after entering a suspicious structure in the area of Deir Siryan in southern Lebanon.
As a result of the encounter, Captain David Hazutt fell, and an additional IDF soldier was lightly injured.
Following extensive searches conducted by IDF soldiers in the area, the terrorist was located in one of the structures near the point of the encounter and was eliminated by the soldiers.

| 3 | IDF: The Chief of the General Staff approves plans for continued operations in the Security Zone, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement: “The agreement signed with the Lebanese government is historic and significant—the operational strength and military achievements the IDF has secured in recent months created the conditions that made it possible. We will honor the agreement and work to ensure its success. The test now is the actions of both sides, and the coming period will shape the future.”
“The security of our troops is of the highest importance. Troops from the 36th Division and the Commando Brigade maintain operational control in the Beaufort Ridge area and are equipped with all the tools and capabilities needed to degrade the enemy. All IDF capabilities are here to continue supporting you in accomplishing the mission.”
The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, visited the Northern Command region this morning (Sunday), together with the Commander of the Northern Command, MG Rafi Milo, the Commander of the 36th Division, BG Yiftach Norkin, the Head of the Operations Division, BG Barak Hiram, and other commanders.
The Chief of the General Staff conducted a situational assessment in light of the evolving reality, approved plans for continued operations, and held a command discussion with brigade commanders.
The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, stated:
“The agreement signed with the Lebanese government is historic and significant—the operational strength and military achievements the IDF has secured in recent months created the conditions that made it possible. We will honor the agreement and work to ensure its success. The test now is the actions of both sides, and the coming period will shape the future.
The Northern Command region is now the IDF’s main operational focus. We are prepared to rapidly resume offensive operations in both Lebanon and Iran if required.
I want to emphasize that the security of our troops is of the highest importance. Troops from the 36th Division and our Commando Brigade maintain operational control of the Beaufort Ridge area and are equipped with all the tools and capabilities needed to degrade the enemy. All IDF capabilities are here to continue supporting you in accomplishing the mission.
Hezbollah has been severely weakened, and its operatives are confined underground. The IDF maintains operational control of the area and remains on high alert to deliver swift and decisive strikes should the ceasefire be violated.
I would like to express my deep appreciation to the brigades, the division, and the Northern Command region for their achievements and for leading the efforts that brought about this agreement.”

The IDF eliminated the Commander of Hamas’ Naval Police in the Central Camps and two additional Hamas commanders
On Friday, the IDF struck in the central Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Mansour Sami Mahmoud Shahtout, the Commander of Hamas’ Naval Police in the Central Camps.
Shahtout operated in recent times to advance terror attacks against IDF troops.
With him, during the strike, two additional commanders belonging to Hamas’ Naval Police were eliminated. Hamas’ Naval Police operates under Hamas' military wing and advances and directs terror attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.
Shahtout and the two additional terrorists were traveling in a vehicle while armed with weapons, and as such posed a threat to IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip. The terrorists were eliminated in order to remove the threat.
Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

| 6 | IDF: The IDF eliminated a Hamas terrorist who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre
Last week (Wednesday), the IDF struck in the Al-Shati area and eliminated Abd al-Rahman Maher Abd al-Karim Ziyada, commander of a Nukhba terrorist cell in Hamas' military wing.
The terrorist infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre and looted an IDF military vehicle, taking it into the Gaza Strip.
In an additional strike on the same day in the Khan Yunis area, the IDF struck and eliminated Kamal Mohammad Hamdan Najjar, Head of the Tunnel Unit in the Khan Yunis sector of Hamas' military wing.

The IDF and ISA eliminated Walid Haniyeh - Deputy Commander of a Nukhba company, who commanded the infiltration of a terrorist cell into Israeli territory on October 7th
On Thursday, the IDF and ISA struck and eliminated the terrorist Walid Haniyeh, the Deputy Commander of a Nukhba company in Hamas’ military wing.
In recent times, Haniyeh attempted to operate to recruit additional terrorists to the Hamas terrorist organization, and commanded the military training of the Nukbah company under his command.
Haniyeh commanded the infiltration of a terrorist cell into Israeli territory on October 7th, and took part in the infiltration. As such, Haniyeh was involved in directing and providing operational instructions to the terrorist cell as they took Israeli civlians hostage into the Gaza Strip.
Walid Haniyeh was the nephew of Ismail Haniyeh, the former Head of Hamas’ Political Bureau.
IDF troops under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.

Following the identifications, the Israeli Air Force and the ground forces fired toward the terrorists and eliminated them to remove the threat.

| 15 | IDF: Earlier today (Thursday), during a routine flight with the President of the Israel aboard an IDF helicopter, the helicopter landed at an Israeli Air Force base in central Israel following impact with a bird. No injuries or no damage were reported.
As part of standard procedure, the flight crew transferred to another helicopter and continued the flight.
The helicopter was transferred to Israeli Air Force technical personnel for maintenance in order to return it to operational service as soon as possible.

The visit marks another step in strengthening the professional and operational ties between the two navies.
During the visit, a joint sail (PASSEX) was conducted between the German Navy vessel and an Israeli Navy vessel as part of efforts to enhance operational cooperation, exchange knowledge, and deepen the professional relationship between the two navies.
In addition, joint professional activities were held between Israeli Navy personnel and the German Navy.
