IDF: The IDF eliminated an armed terrorist identified inside the Security Zone near IDF soldiers
Earlier today (Saturday), IDF soldiers identified an armed terrorist operating inside the Security Zone, in the Majdal Zoun area in southern Lebanon, in blatant violation of the agreement.
Following the identification, the soldiers responded to the threat and opened fire at the terrorist. Following extensive searches, the soldiers eliminated the terrorist.
The IDF will continue operating to remove any threat to its soldiers and Israeli civilians.

| 2 | IDF: In response to attacks on IDF soldiers in violation of the agreement: The IDF struck approximately 10 Hezbollah infrastructure sites and a truck used to transfer weapons in southern Lebanon
In response to Hezbollah’s continued violations of the agreement and attacks against IDF soldiers in the Security Zone, yesterday (Thursday), the IDF precisely struck approximately 10 Hezbollah infrastructure sites in the areas of Bint Jbeil, Beit Yahoun, Kounine, and Braachit in southern Lebanon. The targeted infrastructure sites were used by Hezbollah to advance attacks against IDF soldiers operating in the Security Zone.
In addition, overnight (Friday), IDF soldiers identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell transporting weapons in a truck near the Security Zone in southern Lebanon. Following the identification, the IDF struck the truck to remove the threat to the soldiers.
Following the strike, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapons inside the truck.

| 3 | IDF: IDF operations over the past week: Over one kilometer of underground terror tunnels dismantled in the Gaza Strip, four strikes conducted against terrorists who posed immediate threats in southern Lebanon, and more than 60 terror suspects apprehended in Judea and Samaria
IDF troops continue to operate simultaneously across all fronts to eliminate threats to the State of Israel.
In the Northern Command, troops continue to operate in the Security Zone to eliminate threats to the State of Israel. As part of these operations, the underground terror tunnel located in the village of Majdal Zoun was dismantled. In addition, following Hezbollah’s violations of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli Air Force conducted four precise strikes against terrorists who posed an immediate threat and struck three Hezbollah command centers.
In the Southern Command, underground terror tunnels with a combined length of more than one kilometer were dismantled alongside the ongoing effort to locate and dismantle additional routes, with a focus on the Khan Yunis area. In addition, approximately 20 terrorists were struck and eliminated, including terrorists involved in rebuilding Hamas’ military infrastructure and terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th massacre.
In the Central Command, as part of dozens of operations throughout Judea and Samaria, more than 60 terror suspects were apprehended, including suspects who planned to carry out a terrorist attack, suspects affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization, an individual suspected of stone-hurling, and suspects involved in the possession and trafficking of weapons. In addition, approximately 162,000 NIS in terror funds, five UAVs, materials used to manufacture explosive devices, incitement materials, ammunition, and weapons, including pistols and M-16 rifles, were confiscated.
At the same time, IDF troops continue to operate to thwart smuggling attempts and strengthen defenses along the eastern and western borders.

A combat completion ceremony for the Givati Brigade was held yesterday (Wednesday) at Camp Pilon, led by the Commander of the Northern Command, MG Rafi Milo; Commander of the 162nd Division, BG Sagiv Dahan; Commander of the 36th Division, BG Yiftach Norkin; Commander of the Givati Brigade, COL Netanel Shamka; along with battalion commanders, other commanders, and soldiers.
The troops of the Givati Brigade completed their mission in southern Lebanon after eight months of operations. Their deployment began with a defensive mission along the border and continued with offensive operations throughout southern Lebanon. During this time, the troops operated in the areas of Al-Khiam and Bint Jbeil, north of the Litani River, and along the Beaufort Ridge. They dismantled hundreds of terrorist infrastructure sites, eliminated hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists, and located more than 1,000 weapons.

“Today marks 1,000 days since the outbreak of the longest war in our history.
It is a war that began with a grave failure and the worst tragedy in the history of the State of Israel.
From that tragedy, we rose, recovered, and conducted a war that achieved unprecedented accomplishments in the history of the nation.
Yesterday, I participated in the state ceremony marking 20 years since the Second Lebanon War. Though these dates are symbolic milestones, they are highly significant for remembrance, learning, and drawing lessons.
Iran continues to be the primary focus of our preparedness.
We are currently in an interim period across all theaters of operation. All arenas remain active at varying levels of intensity, and each is undergoing defining developments. The arenas are interconnected, and any action in one may affect the others.
In every sector, we must remain vigilant and prepared for rapid escalation and for an immediate return to combat in order to deepen our achievements and secure victory.
Alongside maintaining our vigilance and continuing to thwart threats, we must take advantage of the coming period to reduce operational fatigue, care for our personnel, and improve operational readiness.
The achievements of the multi-front war were made possible through the determination and sacrifice of the defenders of the nation. The terrorist posed an immediate threat to the soldiers.

A preliminary team from the Israeli humanitarian assistance delegation landed in Venezuela a short while ago, following its departure from Israel in response to the earthquake that struck the country. The delegation will work alongside the local authorities to support recovery efforts.
The delegation is led by Israel’s Ambassador-designate to Mexico, Yoed Magen, on behalf of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and by Brigadier General Elad Edri, Chief of Staff of the Home Front Command, who is leading the IDF delegation.
Immediately upon arrival, members of the delegation began a series of working meetings with local authorities, emergency response officials, and additional partners to establish a situational assessment, identify needs on the ground, plan the joint effort, and complete preparations ahead of the start of operational activities.
The remaining members of the delegation will join the preliminary team in the coming days. Once preparations are complete, the expert teams will begin operating alongside the local authorities to support the recovery efforts, while sharing the knowledge and experience the State of Israel has gained in responding to earthquakes, emergency situations, and humanitarian assistance missions around the world.
