IDF: In response to attacks on IDF soldiers in violation of the agreement: The IDF struck approximately 10 Hezbollah infrastructure sites and a truck used to transfer weapons in southern Lebanon
In response to Hezbollah’s continued violations of the agreement and attacks against IDF soldiers in the Security Zone, yesterday (Thursday), the IDF precisely struck approximately 10 Hezbollah infrastructure sites in the areas of Bint Jbeil, Beit Yahoun, Kounine, and Braachit in southern Lebanon. The targeted infrastructure sites were used by Hezbollah to advance attacks against IDF soldiers operating in the Security Zone.
In addition, overnight (Friday), IDF soldiers identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell transporting weapons in a truck near the Security Zone in southern Lebanon. Following the identification, the IDF struck the truck to remove the threat to the soldiers.
Following the strike, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapons inside the truck.
The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat to its soldiers and Israeli civilians.

IDF troops continue to operate simultaneously across all fronts to eliminate threats to the State of Israel.
In the Northern Command, troops continue to operate in the Security Zone to eliminate threats to the State of Israel. As part of these operations, the underground terror tunnel located in the village of Majdal Zoun was dismantled. In addition, following Hezbollah’s violations of the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli Air Force conducted four precise strikes against terrorists who posed an immediate threat and struck three Hezbollah command centers.
In the Southern Command, underground terror tunnels with a combined length of more than one kilometer were dismantled alongside the ongoing effort to locate and dismantle additional routes, with a focus on the Khan Yunis area. In addition, approximately 20 terrorists were struck and eliminated, including terrorists involved in rebuilding Hamas’ military infrastructure and terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th massacre.
In the Central Command, as part of dozens of operations throughout Judea and Samaria, more than 60 terror suspects were apprehended, including suspects who planned to carry out a terrorist attack, suspects affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization, an individual suspected of stone-hurling, and suspects involved in the possession and trafficking of weapons. In addition, approximately 162,000 NIS in terror funds, five UAVs, materials used to manufacture explosive devices, incitement materials, ammunition, and weapons, including pistols and M-16 rifles, were confiscated.
At the same time, IDF troops continue to operate to thwart smuggling attempts and strengthen defenses along the eastern and western borders.

A combat completion ceremony for the Givati Brigade was held yesterday (Wednesday) at Camp Pilon, led by the Commander of the Northern Command, MG Rafi Milo; Commander of the 162nd Division, BG Sagiv Dahan; Commander of the 36th Division, BG Yiftach Norkin; Commander of the Givati Brigade, COL Netanel Shamka; along with battalion commanders, other commanders, and soldiers.
The troops of the Givati Brigade completed their mission in southern Lebanon after eight months of operations. Their deployment began with a defensive mission along the border and continued with offensive operations throughout southern Lebanon. During this time, the troops operated in the areas of Al-Khiam and Bint Jbeil, north of the Litani River, and along the Beaufort Ridge. They dismantled hundreds of terrorist infrastructure sites, eliminated hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists, and located more than 1,000 weapons.

A preliminary team from the Israeli humanitarian assistance delegation landed in Venezuela a short while ago, following its departure from Israel in response to the earthquake that struck the country. The delegation will work alongside the local authorities to support recovery efforts.
