IDF: More than 400 terror infrastructure sites dismantled and numerous weapons located: Golani Brigade activities in the Security Zone
The Golani Brigade, under the command of the 36th Division, is operating in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon to remove threats to Israeli civilians.
Over the past several weeks, the troops have dismantled more than 400 terror infrastructure sites and located numerous weapons, including anti-tank missiles, surface-to-air missiles, explosive devices, Kalashnikov rifles, and mortars.
The IDF will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm Israeli civilians or IDF soldiers, and will continue to operate to remove threats while remaining committed to the ceasefire agreement.

The Commander of the Home Front Command at a ceremony marking the return of the āAlliance of Brothersā delegation to Colombia: "Today we can say - there are no missing persons left in the city of Caliā
The āAlliance āof Brothersā delegation, led by the Home Front Command and in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held a ceremony yesterday (Tuesday) with the Commander of the Home Front Command, MG Shai Kelper, at the Home Front Command base, upon the delegationās return to Israel and after completing 12 days of activity in Colombia following the earthquake that struck the country.
The delegation left Israel on Thursday, August 13, 2026, following a 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck Colombia and caused great destruction in the west and center of the country.
The delegation consisted of approximately 80 rescuers, engineers, and experts in various fields, both regular and reserve, and worked in close cooperation with the authorities, local rescue forces, and international organizations.
The delegation operated at several major destruction sites in the city of Cali with the aim of locating and rescuing missing persons. During the operation, and in cooperation with local forces, 29 missing persons were located and rescued. Upon completion of the mission, no additional missing persons remained in the city.
Alongside the rescue efforts, Home Front Command engineers worked together with local professionals to map and classify damaged structures and to formulate a situational picture, with the aim of assisting in the reconstruction stages.
During its activities, the āAlliance āof Brothersā delegation brought with it the knowledge and professional experience that Home Front Command personnel had gained in dealing with destruction scenes and complex emergency events in Israel and in aid missions around the world.
Upon completing the tasks assigned to it and transferring the knowledge and professional tools to local authorities, the delegation ended its activities in Colombia and returned to Israel via an Air Force plane.
From the words of the Commander of the Home Front Command, Major General Shai Kelper:
"I met a delegation gifted with a sense of mission and endless motivation to save lives, reach the trapped and missing and bring them back to their loved ones, for a proper burial.
Today, we can say - there are no missing people left in the city of Cali.
We will continue to assist wherever needed, to stand ready for any mission and to lend a hand to any country that requests it,
along with abiding by our alertness and readiness for any scenario that may confront our country."
The commander of the expedition, Brigadier General (res.) Yossi Pinto, also spoke:
āThe willingness to leave everything in an instant, to cross the world, to stand at the front and say: We are here, ready for any mission ā this is the Israeli spirit of the delegation. I thank the members of the delegation for their dedication, professionalism, determination and perseverance.
And when the call comes again, we will prepare the rescue package anew and say as one - here we are.ā

Yesterday (Tuesday), the IDF struck and dismantled a structure in the Jabalia area in the Gaza Strip that was used as an ambush position by terrorists from Hamasā military wing, and was used for storing various types of weapons.
Recently, Hamas terrorists planned to advance attacks against IDF troops and have attempted to rehabilitate the military capability of the terrorist organization from the same structure.
Several terrorists were eliminated in the strike in order to remove the threat.
The ambush position was approximately 50 meters from the Yellow Line and posed a threat to IDF troops operating in the area in accordance with the agreement. The structure was struck in order to remove the threat.
The position was approximately 70 meters from Kamal Adwan Hospital and approximately 170 meters from a school.
This is another example of Hamasā systematic use of civilian and humanitarian infrastructure, in violation of the ceasefire agreement and international law.
Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate the risk to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
Security forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.

During the field tour, the Chief of the General Staff held a discussion with brigade and battalion commanders in the Gaza Strip. The commanders briefed him on the operational picture and the activities of troops in the area. The Chief of the General Staff expressed his appreciation to the troops and commanders operating in the Gaza Strip to defend Israeli civilians.
Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir: āIn about a month and a half, we will mark three years since October 7th. Three years during which the IDF has been engaged in a multi-arena, complex, and continuous war - in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and additional arenas. Hamas Weapon Storage Facilities Located Inside Mosques and Alongside Humanitarian Infrastructure
Yesterday (Monday), the IDF and ISA struck and dismantled five Hamas weapon storage facilities and a Hamas launch site in several strikes across the Gaza Strip.
In the facilities, Hamas stored rockets, weapons, explosive devices, grenades, ammunition, and additional military equipment in order to advance terror attacks against IDF troops in the Gaza Strip.
These storage facilities were established inside mosques and alongside humanitarian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
This is another example of Hamasā systematic exploitation of the civilian population and infrastructure, including mosques and humanitarian infrastructure, in violation of international law.
It should be emphasized that prior to all the strikes, advance warnings were issued to the population in order to mitigate harm to civilians. Additional precautions included the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

Overnight (Monday), IDF soldiers conducted counter-terrorism activity in the area of Jenin, and with the guidance of the ISA, apprehended the terrorist Imam Khazzam, who operated to advance a terror attack on Israelās home front.
Imam is the son of Fathi Hazzam, who was eliminated last week (Thursday) when he attempted to stab an IDF soldier during operational activity in the Jenin area.

Approximately one week has passed since the āAlliance of Friendsā humanitarian delegation departed to assist with search-and-rescue and recovery efforts in Cali, Colombia.
Yesterday, the missions to locate and rescue trapped individuals at the three destruction sites where the delegation operated were completed. All 27 trapped individuals were located and rescued.
As part of the assistance efforts, engineering surveys and assessments were conducted at approximately 100 public and residential buildings throughout the city, alongside training provided to local professionals.
The assessments focused on critical structures in the fields of education, healthcare, and municipal administration, which are essential to restoring the cityās functionality.
The delegation has achieved most of its objectives, and its mission in Colombia is nearing completion. At this time, the engineering team continues its work, while preparations are underway to transfer responsibility to the Colombian authorities and for the delegationās return to Israel.

| 19 | IDF: Terror rehabilitation attempts in violation of the ceasefire agreement: The IDF and the ISA struck a Hamas weapons manufacturing site and eliminated its commander
Earlier today (Sunday), the IDF and the ISA struck in the Maghazi area in the Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Ismail Abu Ful, a commander at a weapons manufacturing site within Hamasā production headquarters. The terrorist took an active part in manufacturing explosive devices and anti-tank rockets for Hamasā military wing and was eliminated to remove the threat.
Additionally, the same manufacturing site, which was established near an aid distribution point operated by an international organization, was struck. This is another example of Hamasā systematic use of and embedding within civilian infrastructure, including aid distribution centers, to advance and execute terror attacks against IDF troops operating in the Yellow Line area and against Israeli civilians.
These actions demonstrate that the Hamas terrorist organization systematically violates the ceasefire agreement while attempting to rehabilitate its military capabilities and strengthen its force buildup.
Prior to the strike, the IDF issued advance warnings to the population in order to mitigate harm to civilians, in addition to taking further measures to reduce harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat. | 6 669 |
