IDF: After 12 days of activity at the impact sites: The ā€œAlliance of Brothersā€ delegation completed its mission in Colombia and has returned to Israel The Commander of the Home Front Command at a ceremony marking the return of the ā€œAlliance of Brothersā€ delegation to Colombia: "Today we can say - there are no missing persons left in the city of Caliā€ The ā€œAlliance ā€œof Brothersā€ delegation, led by the Home Front Command and in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held a ceremony yesterday (Tuesday) with the Commander of the Home Front Command, MG Shai Kelper, at the Home Front Command base, upon the delegation’s return to Israel and after completing 12 days of activity in Colombia following the earthquake that struck the country. The delegation left Israel on Thursday, August 13, 2026, following a 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck Colombia and caused great destruction in the west and center of the country. The delegation consisted of approximately 80 rescuers, engineers, and experts in various fields, both regular and reserve, and worked in close cooperation with the authorities, local rescue forces, and international organizations. The delegation operated at several major destruction sites in the city of Cali with the aim of locating and rescuing missing persons. During the operation, and in cooperation with local forces, 29 missing persons were located and rescued. Upon completion of the mission, no additional missing persons remained in the city. Alongside the rescue efforts, Home Front Command engineers worked together with local professionals to map and classify damaged structures and to formulate a situational picture, with the aim of assisting in the reconstruction stages. During its activities, the ā€œAlliance ā€œof Brothersā€ delegation brought with it the knowledge and professional experience that Home Front Command personnel had gained in dealing with destruction scenes and complex emergency events in Israel and in aid missions around the world. Upon completing the tasks assigned to it and transferring the knowledge and professional tools to local authorities, the delegation ended its activities in Colombia and returned to Israel via an Air Force plane. From the words of the Commander of the Home Front Command, Major General Shai Kelper: "I met a delegation gifted with a sense of mission and endless motivation to save lives, reach the trapped and missing and bring them back to their loved ones, for a proper burial. Today, we can say - there are no missing people left in the city of Cali. We will continue to assist wherever needed, to stand ready for any mission and to lend a hand to any country that requests it, along with abiding by our alertness and readiness for any scenario that may confront our country." The commander of the expedition, Brigadier General (res.) Yossi Pinto, also spoke: ā€œThe willingness to leave everything in an instant, to cross the world, to stand at the front and say: We are here, ready for any mission — this is the Israeli spirit of the delegation. I thank the members of the delegation for their dedication, professionalism, determination and perseverance. And when the call comes again, we will prepare the rescue package anew and say as one - here we are.ā€ Attached are the following: A video on the subject: https://bit.ly/4qzwCkY Photos of the subject:https://idfanc.activetrail.biz/ANC437502

IDF: Hamas ambush position near a hospital and a school dismantled by IDF Yesterday (Tuesday), the IDF struck and dismantled a structure in the Jabalia area in the Gaza Strip that was used as an ambush position by terrorists from Hamas’ military wing, and was used for storing various types of weapons. Recently, Hamas terrorists planned to advance attacks against IDF troops and have attempted to rehabilitate the military capability of the terrorist organization from the same structure. Several terrorists were eliminated in the strike in order to remove the threat. The ambush position was approximately 50 meters from the Yellow Line and posed a threat to IDF troops operating in the area in accordance with the agreement. The structure was struck in order to remove the threat. The position was approximately 70 meters from Kamal Adwan Hospital and approximately 170 meters from a school. This is another example of Hamas’ systematic use of civilian and humanitarian infrastructure, in violation of the ceasefire agreement and international law. Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate the risk to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance. Security forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat. Attached is a related graphic:

IDF: Chief of the General Staff in conversation with female observation soldiers at the Gaza Division Headquarters: ā€œYou are our eyes on the frontline, the first to identify infiltration threats and call troops to eliminate them.ā€ ā€œI greatly appreciate you and know how important your role is - you protect the country’s borders, the communities in the area, and you are a critical part of the IDF’s defense system.ā€ ā€œYour identification and assessment are important - and one of the lessons of October 7th is that we must listen carefully to every soldier as part of the command assessment and decision-making process.ā€ IDF Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, visited the Gaza Division Headquarters (Re’im Camp) today (Tuesday) and held a discussion with the division’s female observation soldiers. During the discussion, the Chief of the General Staff heard from the observation soldiers about their operational activities and the challenges they face in the area. The Chief of the General Staff expressed his appreciation for their activities along the Gaza border and emphasized their significant contribution to protecting the communities near Gaza and Israeli civilians, identifying threats in advance, and safeguarding the security of troops operating in the area. From the remarks of IDF Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir: ā€œI greatly appreciate you and know how important your role is. When I began serving as a battalion commander and brigade commander, I was exposed to the strength of the observation unit and your ability to assist troops on the ground, identify developments, and have a direct impact on what is happening in the area. You protect the country’s borders and the communities in the area, and you are a critical part of the IDF’s defense system. The ability to identify threats in advance, understand the situation, and provide timely warnings is an integral part of our ability to defend the country. One of the central lessons from October 7th is that we must not underestimate the enemy. Our enemies are brutal, and therefore we must remain vigilant and listen to every indication. Your identification and assessment are important, and one of the lessons of October 7th is that we must listen carefully to every soldier as part of the command assessment and decision-making process. Today, we are operating in forward defense areas and protecting Israeli civilians from the frontline in all arenas. You are our eyes on the frontline, the first to identify infiltration threats and call troops to eliminate them. Your ability to understand what is happening, your insight, institutional memory, and deep familiarity with the area make you a significant source of knowledge for commanders. I believe that each and every one of you should be proud of your military service. You protect the country, defend the borders and the people of Israel, and your work is an integral part of our ability to protect Israeli civilians.ā€ Attached are related photos: https://IDFANC.activetrail.biz/ANC08252026567

*מופׄ ×›×¢×Ŗ:* IDF: Chief of the General Staff in the Gaza Strip: ā€œThe IDF is prepared and alert in all arenas. We will not allow our enemies to rebuild their strength along our borders, with an emphasis on Gaza and Lebanon. We will continue to act proactively and systematically to degrade them. We will not allow terrorist infrastructure to become entrenched. We will seize every opportunity to eliminate threats while they are still taking shape. We are implementing lessons learned, we have changed our approach, and the IDF will not return to October 6th.ā€ ā€œThe pursuit of the terrorists from October 7th continues – everyone who took part in the massacre will live on the run until they are eliminated. This is a long-term mission to which the Southern Command and the entire IDF are committed.ā€ Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, conducted a field tour in the Gaza Strip today (Tuesday) with the Commander of the Southern Command, MG Yaniv Asor, the Commander of the Gaza Division, BG Liron Batito, as well as brigade and battalion commanders. During the field tour, the Chief of the General Staff held a discussion with brigade and battalion commanders in the Gaza Strip. The commanders briefed him on the operational picture and the activities of troops in the area. The Chief of the General Staff expressed his appreciation to the troops and commanders operating in the Gaza Strip to defend Israeli civilians. Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir: ā€œIn about a month and a half, we will mark three years since October 7th. Three years during which the IDF has been engaged in a multi-arena, complex, and continuous war - in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and additional arenas. This is a very significant challenge for the IDF, and we have achieved extraordinary results on all arenas and in all areas. Our troops have prevailed in every battle, significantly weakened all of our enemies, and struck their capabilities and infrastructure. We continue to prepare and remain alert on all fronts, understanding that the war is not over. ā€œIn Gaza, we are not giving up on the overarching objective - demilitarizing the Gaza Strip and disarming Hamas, using all necessary means. We continue to act systematically to strike Hamas and its leaders wherever they are, including through ongoing activities to prevent it from rebuilding. ā€œThe pursuit of the terrorists who participated in the October 7th massacre continues – everyone who took part in the massacre will live on the run until they are eliminated. This is a long-term mission to which the Southern Command and the entire IDF are committed.ā€ ā€œOur message is clear: we conducted inquiries and are implementing lessons learned—the IDF will not return to the doctrines that prevailed utilized on October 6th. There will be no containment of threats. We will not allow the enemy to rebuild itself, we will not allow terrorist infrastructure to become entrenched, and we will act at every opportunity to eliminate threats while they are still taking shape. ā€œWe are listening to the voices of the residents, understand their concerns, and will know how to reach anyone who poses a threat to them. We are deployed with our troops on the front lines in front of the communities and continue to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and terrorists. ā€œThe last time I met with the commanders of the Givati Brigade and the 401st Brigade was at the country’s northern border, just three months ago. Now you are here and continue to expand the achievements in the Gaza Strip. The Southern Command and the division continue to precisely thwart threats at every opportunity. There are tremendous achievements here, based on the determined and unwavering activity of the troops on the ground. This is also not the first time I have met the reserve battalion of the 11th Brigade. The battalion is mobilized for 90 days in this round. I am aware of the exceptional burden on the reservists and their families. We are committed to continuing to act on your behalf.ā€ Attached is a related video:

Joint IDF and ISA announcement: Hamas Weapon Storage Facilities Located Inside Mosques and Alongside Humanitarian Infrastructure Yesterday (Monday), the IDF and ISA struck and dismantled five Hamas weapon storage facilities and a Hamas launch site in several strikes across the Gaza Strip. In the facilities, Hamas stored rockets, weapons, explosive devices, grenades, ammunition, and additional military equipment in order to advance terror attacks against IDF troops in the Gaza Strip. These storage facilities were established inside mosques and alongside humanitarian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. This is another example of Hamas’ systematic exploitation of the civilian population and infrastructure, including mosques and humanitarian infrastructure, in violation of international law. It should be emphasized that prior to all the strikes, advance warnings were issued to the population in order to mitigate harm to civilians. Additional precautions included the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance. These strikes in the Gaza Strip serve as a clear warning: The IDF and ISA will not tolerate terrorist activity of any kind against Israeli civilians, and will continue to act with determination against any threat and take the necessary measures to safeguard the security of Israeli civilians. Security forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire framework and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat. As part of the assistance efforts, engineering surveys and assessments were conducted at approximately 100 public and residential buildings throughout the city, alongside training provided to local professionals. The assessments focused on critical structures in the fields of education, healthcare, and municipal administration, which are essential to restoring the city’s functionality. The delegation has achieved most of its objectives, and its mission in Colombia is nearing completion. At this time, the engineering team continues its work, while preparations are underway to transfer responsibility to the Colombian authorities and for the delegation’s return to Israel. IDF: Terror rehabilitation attempts in violation of the ceasefire agreement: The IDF and the ISA struck a Hamas weapons manufacturing site and eliminated its commander Earlier today (Sunday), the IDF and the ISA struck in the Maghazi area in the Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Ismail Abu Ful, a commander at a weapons manufacturing site within Hamas’ production headquarters. The terrorist took an active part in manufacturing explosive devices and anti-tank rockets for Hamas’ military wing and was eliminated to remove the threat. Additionally, the same manufacturing site, which was established near an aid distribution point operated by an international organization, was struck. This is another example of Hamas’ systematic use of and embedding within civilian infrastructure, including aid distribution centers, to advance and execute terror attacks against IDF troops operating in the Yellow Line area and against Israeli civilians. These actions demonstrate that the Hamas terrorist organization systematically violates the ceasefire agreement while attempting to rehabilitate its military capabilities and strengthen its force buildup. Prior to the strike, the IDF issued advance warnings to the population in order to mitigate harm to civilians, in addition to taking further measures to reduce harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance. IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
