In the recordings Zini stated that Israel’s security apparatus must be loyal to the elected government as opposed to their current unelected bureaucratic system that answers only to the Supreme Court :

Zini’s remarks drew criticism from the Israeli opposition who accuse Zini of being ideologically loyal to Netanyahu as opposed to the state:
