That officially concludes our coverage of the 2023-2024 Supreme Court term. Thank you all for joining us along the ride of this historical year. We have grown massively over this term with new subscribers every day, and we deeply appreciate all your support. However, our job is far from done. (HOLDING: Under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power entitles a former President to absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclu- sive constitutional authority. And he is entitled to at least presump- tive immunity from prosecution for all his official acts. There is no immunity for unofficial acts.)

NEW: Here is the final opinion of the term from the Supreme Court. It is a 6–3 opinion delivered by Chief Justice Roberts. Justice Sotomayor filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justice Kagan and Jackson joined. This case is Trump V United States. Justice Jackson filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justice Sotomayor and Kagan joined. The case is called Corner Post v. Board of Governors, FRS. Good Monday morning everyone! It’s the final day of opinions, which means unlike the other opinion days, we know what cases will be released this morning. Although the order of the releases is not predetermined and merely a guess, we will find out between 10amET-11amET (depending on how long it takes to read the opinions and possible dissents from the bench) on how the Court rules on Presidential Immunity. On Friday, the court issued a decision on Fischer v. United States, which did a major blow to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team regarding hundreds of January 6 prosecutions. Stay tuned at 10amET and remember, as soon as the opinion is available on the website, it’ll be sent here immediately.

JUST IN: Chief Justice Roberts has just announced Monday will be the FINAL day of opinions, which means we will know the outcome of the remaining major decisions on Monday.

NEW: Here is the fourth and final opinion of the day from the Supreme Court. It is a 6–3 opinion delivered by Chief Justice Roberts. Justice Barrett filed a dissenting opinion, in which Justice Sotomayor and Kagan joined. This case is called Fischer v. United States. This case relates to the January 6 attack on the United States.
