| 10 | Wherever fascist goons or their proxies, the central armed and paramilitary forces, are perpetrating brutal atrocities on minority women and women from other exploited communities.
In the wake of public outrage over the Baruipur atrocity, Chief Minister Shubhendu Adhikari has verbally assured the victim's family of justice. IG Kankonprasad Barui has stated that the accused will be given the death penalty. But we have repeatedly seen that the government, while giving verbal assurances of justice, fails to take actual action. Moreover, even if the government, forced by public anger, awards the death penalty to the rapists, the root cause - the social system - remains unchanged, hence incidents like rape continue to occur repeatedly. The struggle against rape and violence against women cannot be limited merely to demanding strict punishment. This fight is an integral part of the broader struggle against Brahminical patriarchy and fascism.
We call upon students, youth, women, and all democratic, progressive, anti-fascist organisations and individuals not to wait for justice from this Brahminical Hindutva fascist government, but to build a united, militant mass resistance against this brutal incident. Organise protest meetings, rallies, street corner meetings, and anti-rape self-defence groups in campuses, neighbourhoods, villages, and cities.
Our Demands:
1) Ensure an impartial, transparent, and swift investigation into this brutal incident. All those involved in the crime must be arrested immediately and given exemplary punishment.
2) Ensure an independent inquiry into administrative negligence and political interference in the investigation and ensure accountability.
3) Provide full legal, financial, and psychological support to the victim's family.
4) The government must be held accountable for incidents of rape and anti-women violence across the state. It is the government's responsibility to ensure that such incidents do not occur under any circumstances. | 49 |

We, the Revolutionary Students’ Front (RSF), express deep grief and outrage over the brutal rape and murder of an 11-year-old Muslim minor girl in Baruipur, South 24 Parganas, and strongly condemn this heinous incident. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the victim's family and pledge our solidarity with them in their fight for justice.
On Saturday, July 4th, the girl did not return home in the evening. After a night of searching, locals recovered her body from a pond on Sunday morning. Initial allegations have surfaced implicating 4-5 BJP workers in the crime. Faced with public outrage, the police arrested the accused, but they were reportedly released on the instructions of influential BJP leader Shantanu Mandal. Naturally, the public strongly protested against this police inaction. People protested on Kulpi Road with the child's body. Train services on the Namkhana line were blocked. Amidst this tension, one of the accused, Indrajit Tanti, died in a mob lynching. Under pressure from the protests that began at dawn, police arrested another individual named Prabhas Mandal.
It is the responsibility of the state to ensure justice. However, when the ruling government shields rapists instead of representing the people, then such unfortunate mob lynchings become almost unavoidable. The blame for this rests squarely on the negligence of the BJP's puppet police force. Simultaneously, this barbaric incident has once again exposed the true face of the BJP, which makes false promises regarding women's safety. Despite the BJP-RSS projecting themselves as the greatest protectors of women's safety and empowerment, the reality is the opposite. During the RG Kar movement, the BJP made women's safety and justice a central electoral issue in West Bengal. They publicly projected themselves as the ones who would end violence against women if they came to power. In reality, two months after coming to power, there has been no progress in the RG Kar case. Meanwhile, incidents of rape and violence against women are increasing across the state, with BJP workers often being directly involved or protecting the accused.
Furthermore, rape, murder, and trafficking of women are occurring unchecked across the country. In truth, no matter how much the BJP-RSS tries to project itself as paragons of justice, it is a completely anti-people, Brahminical, Hindutva fascist force. The theoretical and practical manifestation of this fascism is patriarchal violence, caste oppression, and hatred against minorities. In BJP-ruled states, Dalit and Muslim minority women continue to face systematic sexual violence at the hands of these fascist forces and upper-caste oppressors. The BJP has the highest number of sitting MPs and MLAs convicted of crimes against women. It has been seen repeatedly that these BJP leaders and workers openly support convicted and accused rapists, endorse rape, shelter them, and even take out rallies garlanding them. The fascist politics of the BJP carry forward the politics of violent control over women's bodies. They only express hypocritical outrage over selected incidents for electoral gain in specific situations. Behind all this lies the reactionary ideological foundation of Hindutva politics. Savarkar, one of the theorists of Hindutva, had advocated for using rape as a 'political weapon.' This is indeed a part of the most extreme form of majoritarian identity-based politics that is Hindutva. Even today, through rape and sexual violence, targeting people from oppressed and exploited social sections, creating terror among them, and establishing ethnic dominance, the goons of BJP-RSS are carrying forward that toxic legacy of Hindutva. From Kashmir, Manipur, Gujarat, Delhi, to vast regions of Central India, we are witnessing this same pattern. | 35 |

| 13 | সমাজব্যবস্থা, জনরোষের ফলে বাধ্য হয়ে ধর্ষকদের ফাঁসির সাজা দিলেও, সেই সমাজ ব্যবস্থার পরিবর্তন ঘটে যায় না, তাই বারংবার ধর্ষণের মত ঘটনা ঘটতেই থাকে। ধর্ষণ তথা নারী নির্যাতনের বিরুদ্ধে সংগ্রাম কেবল কঠোর শাস্তির দাবিতে সীমাবদ্ধ থাকতে পারে না। এই লড়াই ব্রাহ্মণ্যবাদী পিতৃতন্ত্র ও ফ্যাসিবাদের বিরুদ্ধে সামগ্রিক সংগ্রামের অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ।
আমরা ডাক দিচ্ছি, ব্রাহ্মণ্যবাদী হিন্দুত্ব ফ্যাসিবাদী সরকারের কাছে বিচারের আশায় বসে না থেকে, আমরা ছাত্রযুব, নারী এবং সমস্ত গণতান্ত্রিক, প্রগতিশীল, ফ্যাসিবিরোধী সংগঠন ও ব্যক্তিবর্গকে এই নৃশংস ঘটনার বিরুদ্ধে ঐক্যবদ্ধ জঙ্গি গণপ্রতিরোধ গড়ে তোলার। সংগঠিত হয়ে ক্যাম্পাসে, পাড়ায়, গ্রামে ও শহরে প্রতিবাদ সভা, মিছিল, পথসভা এবং ধর্ষক-বিরোধী আত্মরক্ষার দল গঠন করুন।
আমাদের দাবি :
১) এই নৃশংস ঘটনার নিরপেক্ষ, স্বচ্ছ ও দ্রুত তদন্ত সুনিশ্চিত করতে হবে। অপরাধে জড়িত প্রত্যেককে অবিলম্বে গ্রেপ্তার করে দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তি দিতে হবে।
২) তদন্তে প্রশাসনিক গাফিলতি এবং রাজনৈতিক হস্তক্ষেপের স্বাধীন তদন্ত ও জবাবদিহি নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।
৩) নির্যাতিতার পরিবারকে পূর্ণ আইনি, আর্থিক ও মানসিক সহায়তা প্রদান করতে হবে।
৪) রাজ্যজুড়ে ধর্ষণ তথা নারী বিরোধী হিংসার ঘটনার দায় সরকারকেই নিতে হবে। সরকারকেই নিশ্চিত করতে হবে যাতে এইধরণের ঘটনা কোনোভাবেই না ঘটে। | 41 |

বিপ্লবী ছাত্র ফ্রন্ট (RSF) দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার বারুইপুরে ঘটা ১২ বছর বয়সি মুসলিম নাবালিকার নৃশংস ধর্ষণ ও হত্যাকাণ্ডের ঘটনায় গভীর শোক ও ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করছে এবং এই ঘটনার তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানাচ্ছে। আমরা নিহত শিশুটির পরিবারের প্রতি আন্তরিক সমবেদনা জানাচ্ছি এ ন্যায়বিচারের এই লড়াইয়ে তাদের পাশে থাকার অঙ্গীকার করছি।
গত ৪ঠা জুলাই শনিবার বিকেল থেকে বাড়ি না ফেরায় সারারাত খোঁজাখুঁজির পর রবিবার সকালে একটি পুকুর থেকে ওই নাবালিকার দেহ উদ্ধার করে এলাকাবাসীরা। প্রাথমিকভাবে ৪-৫ জন বিজেপি কর্মীর এই ঘটনায় জড়িত থাকার অভিযোগ উঠেছে। এলাকার মানুষের ক্ষোভের সামনে পুলিশ অভিযুক্তদের গ্রেপ্তার করলেও প্রভাবশালী বিজেপি নেতা শান্তনু মণ্ডলের নির্দেশে তাদের ছেড়ে দেয়। স্বাভাবিকভাবেই সাধারণ মানুষ পুলিশি নিষ্ক্রিয়তার বিরুদ্ধে তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানাতে থাকে। কুলপি রোডে শিশুটির মৃতদেহ সহ মানুষ বিক্ষোভ শুধু করে। নামখানা লাইনে ট্রেন অবরোধ করা হয়। এই উত্তেজনার মধ্যেই জনতার গণপিটুনিতে ইন্দ্রজিৎ তাঁতি নামক এক অভিযুক্তের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। ভোর থেকে প্রতিবাদরত মানুষের আন্দোলনের চাপে প্রভাস মণ্ডল নামক একজনকে পুলিশ গ্রেপ্তার করেছে।
আমাদের বক্তব্য যে ন্যায়বিচার নিশ্চিত করার দায়িত্ব রাষ্ট্রের। কিন্তু যখন ক্ষমতাসীন সরকার জনপ্রতিনিধিত্ব না করে ধর্ষকদের রক্ষা করে — তখন এই ধরনের অনভিপ্রেত মব লিঞ্চিং এড়ানোর কোনো উপায় থাকে না। বিজেপির দলদাস পুলিশের গাফিলতির উপরেই এর দায় বর্তায়। একই সাথে, এই বর্বর ঘটনা আবারও নারী নিরাপত্তা নিয়ে মিথ্যা প্রতিশ্রুতি দেওয়া বিজেপির স্বরূপ স্পষ্ট করলো। নারী নিরাপত্তা ও ক্ষমতায়ন প্রশ্নে বিজেপি-আরএসএস নিজেদের সবচেয়ে বড় রক্ষাকর্তা হিসেবে তুলে ধরলেও বাস্তব সম্পূর্ণ বিপরীত। আরজিকরের গণআন্দোলনের সময় বিজেপি পশ্চিমবঙ্গে নারী নিরাপত্তা ও ন্যায়বিচারের প্রশ্নকে নিজেদের নির্বাচনী রাজনীতির কেন্দ্রীয় ইস্যুতে পরিণত করেছিল। তারা জনসমক্ষে নিজেদের এমনভাবে তুলে ধরেছিল যে, তারা ক্ষমতায় এলেই নারী নির্যাতনের অবসান করবে। বাস্তবে দেখা যাচ্ছে, তারা ক্ষমতায় আসার দুমাস পরেও আরজিকরের ঘটনার কোনরকম অগ্রগতি ঘটেনি। অন্যদিকে রাজ্যে বহু ধর্ষণ এবং নারী নির্যাতনের ঘটনা বেড়ে চলেছে। অনেক ক্ষেত্রেই যাতে বিজেপি কর্মীরা সরাসরি যুক্ত বা তারাই অভিযুক্তদের রক্ষা করেছে।
শুধু তাই নয়, দেশ জুড়ে অবাধে হয়ে চলেছে ধর্ষণ, খুন, নারী পাচার। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, বিজেপি-আরএসএস নিজেদের যতই ন্যায়বিচারের পরাকাষ্ঠা হিসেবে তুলে ধরার চেষ্টা করুক, তারা সম্পূর্ণভাবে জনবিরোধী এবং ব্রাহ্মণ্যবাদী হিন্দুত্ব ফ্যাসিবাদী শক্তি। এই ফ্যাসিবাদের তাত্ত্বিক ও প্রায়োগিক প্রকাশই হচ্ছে পিতৃতান্ত্রিক হিংসা, বর্ণগত নিপীড়ন, সংখ্যালঘু বিদ্বেষ। বিজেপি শাসিত বিভিন্ন রাজ্যে এই ফ্যাসিবাদী শক্তি ও উচ্চবর্ণের শোষকদের হাতে দলিত ও মুসলিম সংখ্যালঘু মহিলাদের ওপর ধারাবাহিক যৌন সহিংসতার ঘটনা ঘটেই চলেছে। বিজেপিতেই দেশের সবচেয়ে বেশি সংখ্যক নারীবিদ্বেষী অপরাধে অভিযুক্ত সাংসদ ও বিধায়ক রয়েছে। বারবার দেখা গেছে, এই বিজেপি নেতাকর্মীরা প্রকাশ্যে অভিযুক্ত ও প্রমাণিত ধর্ষকদের পক্ষ নিয়েছে, ধর্ষণকে সমর্থন করেছে, তাদের আশ্রয় দিয়েছে, মালা পরিয়ে তাদের নিয়ে মিছিল করেছে। বিজেপির ফ্যাসিবাদী রাজনীতি নারীর শরীরের উপর সহিংস নিয়ন্ত্রণ কায়েমের রাজনীতিকেই বহন করে। শুধুমাত্র বিশেষ অবস্থায় নির্বাচনী স্বার্থে তারা নির্বাচিত কিছু ঘটনায় নিজেদের মেকি ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ করে। এসবের পিছনে রয়েছে হিন্দুত্ববাদী রাজনীতির প্রতিক্রিয়াশীল আদর্শগত ভিত্তি। হিন্দুত্বের অন্যতম প্রচারক হিন্দু মহাসভার সাভারকর ধর্ষণকে ‘রাজনৈতিক অস্ত্র’ হিসেবে ব্যবহার করতে বলেছিল। যা আসলেই হিন্দুত্ববাদের মত সংখ্যাগুরুবাদী পরিচয়ভিত্তিক রাজনীতির উগ্রতমরূপের অংশ। আজও ধর্ষণ ও যৌন সহিংসতার মাধ্যমে নিপীড়িত ও শোষিত সামাজিক অংশের মানুষদের লক্ষ্যবস্তু বানিয়ে, তাদের মধ্যে আতঙ্ক সৃষ্টি করে, জাতিগত আধিপত্য কায়েম করে হিন্দুত্বের সেই বিষাক্ত উত্তরাধিকার বহন করে চলেছে বিজেপি-আরএসএসের গুণ্ডারা। কাশ্মীর, মণিপুর, গুজরাত, দিল্লি থেকে মধ্যভারতের বিস্তীর্ণ অঞ্চলে আমরা এই চিত্রই দেখে চলেছি। কোথাও ফ্যাসিবাদী গুণ্ডারা, কোথাও তাদের দালাল কেন্দ্রীয় সেনা-আধাসামরিক বাহিনীই সংখ্যালঘু ও অন্যান্য শোষিত জনগোষ্ঠীর মহিলাদের ওপর বর্বর অত্যাচার চালাচ্ছে।
বারুইপুরের এই বর্বর ঘটনার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে জনরোষের ফলে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শুভেন্দু অধিকারী নির্যাতিতার পরিবারকে মৌখিকভাবে সুবিচারের আশ্বাস দিয়েছে। আইজি কঙ্কনপ্রসাদ বাড়ুই বলেছে, অভিযুক্তদের ফাঁসির সাজা দেওয়া হবে। কিন্তু আমরা বারংবার দেখেছি যে, সরকার ন্যায়বিচারের মৌখিক আশ্বাস দিয়েও বাস্তবে তার ব্যবস্থা নেয়না। তাছাড়া, ধর্ষণের মূল কারণ যে | 44 |

আপনারা সকলেই অবগত যে, রাজ্যের নয়া বিজেপি সরকার বিগত ২ মাস ধরে বিভিন্ন রেলস্টেশন ও তার পার্শ্ববর্তী অঞ্চল সহ রাজ্যজুড়ে বিভিন্ন হকার মার্কেটগুলির উচ্ছেদ চালাচ্ছে। শয়ে শয়ে মানুষের জীবন জীবিকা আজ বিপন্ন। যাদবপুর স্টেশনের পার্শ্ববর্তী অঞ্চলগুলির উপরও এধরণের উচ্ছেদ অভিযান চালানো হয়েছে। কিন্তু সেখানের হকার, ছোট ব্যবসায়ীরা বিভিন্ন প্রগতিশীল শক্তিদের সাথে ঐক্যবদ্ধ পাল্টা প্রতিরোধ গড়ে তুলতে সক্ষম হয়েছিল।
বিভিন্ন সুত্র মারফত আমরা জানতে পেরেছি, আগামী ৯ তারিখের মধ্যে সুকান্ত সেতুর নীচে অবস্থিত হকার্স মার্কেটগুলি সম্পূর্ণ বেআইনি ও অগণতান্ত্রিক ভাবে বলপূর্বক উচ্ছেদ করা হবে। আমরা বিপ্লবী ছাত্র ফ্রন্টের (RSF) পক্ষ থেকে সমস্ত প্রগতিশীল, গণতান্ত্রিক, ফ্যাসিবিরোধী সংগঠন ও ব্যক্তিবর্গের প্রতি আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি যে, এইসমস্ত ফ্যাসিবাদী কর্মকাণ্ডের বিরুদ্ধে আগামী ৬ই জুলাই বিকেল ৫টার সময় যাদবপুর সুকান্ত সেতুর বাইরে দলে দলে জড়ো হোন এবং এই বিক্ষোভ কর্মসূচিতে যোগদান করে তা সফল করে তুলুন।
