𝐁𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐖𝐈𝐒𝐃𝐎𝐌 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 | Pray Against the Devil When You Pray for Your Kids
Would you stand idly by if an evil person were plotting to destroy your child?
Would you tolerate an impostor actively working to deceive your child?
Would you allow someone to condemn your baby?
The Bible tells us that the devil is seeking to do all these things (1 Peter 5:8).
But Christ has overcome—and we can and should pray for Jesus to defend them and deliver them from evil.

Have you ever felt alone in your struggles?
Often, difficult situations are isolating. We’re made to believe that we’re the only one struggling, or that hiding our pain will make things get better.
But we forget that Jesus sees the hurt we hide and He wants to heal us. Jesus, who was despised, rejected, and betrayed by those close to Him, also felt such hurt (Isa 53:3). We forget that Jesus experienced what we’re experiencing. We forget that He knows exactly how painful life can be. We forget that He’s very close to the brokenhearted.
He feels our pain and He wants us to surrender it to Him.
When the world gets overwhelming, we tend to retreat and escape to familiar things that we find comfort in: eating, sleeping, gaming, or socialising.
Yet the Bible reminds us that we have a King and Friend in Christ who 𝒔𝒚𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒖𝒔 in our weaknesses (Heb 4:15), who 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒖𝒔 in our grief (Isa 61:1-3), and who 𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒖𝒔 when we are brokenhearted (Ps 34:17-19).
So, how can we better find Christ in our rest? Read more.

Forgiveness can seem like the last thing on our minds when we're still reeling from betrayal, a broken promise, or cutting words.
But it's a crucial step in healing and experiencing God's power in our lives. Remember what Jesus said in Mark 11:25: "When you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
The truth is: We didn't deserve to be hurt, but neither did we deserve to have Jesus pay the price for our sins and be forgiven by God.

Some of us may be walking around with broken hearts and not realise it.
Not all heartbreaks feel like a stab in the chest or a kick in the gut. Some quietly eat away at us, causing us to look at ourselves and the world through grief-tinted lenses.
But 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠—both now and at the end of all things. Our hearts will continue to be broken and mended as we go through life, but one day they'll stay perfectly intact for all eternity.
"In this world, bones will still break, hearts will still break, but in the end, the light will overcome darkness." — Jesus in The Chosen TV series, a quote that echoes John 16:33.

When you're faced with a situation that seems broken beyond repair, take heart.
The story of Jesus raising the widow of Nain's son only appears in Luke's gospel (7:11-17). Though often overlooked, it is a comforting reminder of His compassion and power.
The Lord sees you and His heart goes out to you. Listen closely and you'll hear His gentle voice saying, "Don't cry." 🫂
He has the power to bring back to life what was once dead. Trust in Him and wait patiently for His miraculous intervention.

Forgiveness doesn't always come with an instant and tangible change. Memories may still cause pain. The heart may still ache.
Like physical hurt that requires time for wounds to heal and the pain to subside, healing from emotional hurt is also a process. ❤️🩹
Let's forgive as the Lord forgave us and trust in His timing for healing!

Ever feared coming to God with personal requests or things that aren’t in your control?
This week, we dive into the C (confession) and S (supplication) of ACTS, a prayer model inspired by the Lord’s Prayer.
Prayer is easy when we can see things change, but what if they don’t? We start to doubt if God is really sovereign, or if He really cares about us. In comparison to what’s happening in the world today, our personal requests can seem like trivial things.
Yet we know that God hears us when we ask according to His will (1 Jn 5:14). If answers seem slow in coming, have faith that 𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒃𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 in your life. We can continue praying and asking, knowing He will answer in His good timing.

How do you start your prayers? How would you address God?
This week we are diving into the A (adoration) and T (thanksgiving) of ACTS, a prayer model inspired by the Lord’s Prayer.
It’s easy to praise and thank God when life is good and smooth-sailing. But what about those times when He seems distant or silent? How we pray to God reflects how we acknowledge His sovereign authority even when life feels bleak.
The fact that we can always come to Him in prayer regardless of our circumstances is something we can thank and praise Him for.

Wondering what to pray for when your days feel mundane? Read more here.
It's tempting to turn to human wisdom for a quick solution when we're faced with difficulties, much like how we scramble to find torches or matches when we experience a power cut.
But Isaiah 50:11 cautions us about trusting in man-made solutions, for those who “light [... and ...] walk in the light of [their] fires” will not receive comfort from the Lord, who is the only true light.
God is pleased when we choose to put our full trust in Him. It reveals who He is to us—that we truly believe He is the 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑺𝒉𝒆𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒅 who cares for us. 🤗
