Doubts are inevitable in our faith journey. And God isnโt afraid of them.
The danger is when we sweep them under the carpet instead of letting God speak His perspective and truth into them. ๐ซข
When our faith is tested in tough circumstances, letโs bring our doubts to the one who is patient and full of graceโHe is the refiner of faith. ๐
Feeling doubtful? Here are 5 things you can do:

Discovering your spiritual gifts is an exciting process, but Godโs Word is more concerned about ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ than who gets what. ๐
Because itโs not about what we can do for God but ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ to become like Jesus to fulfil His work in the world.
Letโs focus on growing in spiritual maturity and an intimate relationship with God even as we seek to exercise our spiritual gifts! โค๏ธ

โWell done, good and faithful servant!โ
Everyone wants to hear these words when they meet God face to face. Yet, not all have the confidence that they will hear this, based on how theyโre living today.
We cannot slow the passing of time or the nearing of our finish line, but we can trust in our God who has written in His book all the days ordained for us before one of them came to be (Ps 139:16).
Regardless of our age, God grants us fresh beginnings and renews our strength to fulfil the wonderful purpose He has planned for our lifeโจ

This Fatherโs Day, as we honour the dads, father figures, and spiritual fathers in our lives, letโs remember that they too are children of our heavenly Father.
They are human, they need grace, and above all, they are deeply loved by God.
๐ So, pray for them.
๐ช Encourage them.
โบ๏ธ Be patient with them.
๐ Point them to the Father for strength, rest, and wisdom.
In their own imperfect ways, our earthly dads give us a glimpse of Godโs love. But it is our heavenly Father who loves us all perfectly. โค๏ธ

Godโs generosity doesnโt end with what we receive, but continues through how we give. Scripture reminds us that those who sow generously will also reap generously (2 Cor 9:6). But this must come from a willing heart, because God loves a cheerful giver (v. 7).
Generosity becomes a heartfelt response and not a burden when we recognise how much God has given us. Today, reflect on this: what might it look like for you to give freely, joyfully, and purposefully?

Itโs easy to compare ourselves with othersโto wish we had their abilities or to question our own. But God in His wisdom didnโt design His people to be exactly the same. Rather, His plan was for diversity. Your role may not look like someone elseโsโbut itโs no less important. Godโs Spirit has given different gifts to each one of us, and every gift has a purpose: the common good of the body of Christ (1 Cor 12:1โ11).
Take some time to consider: what has God entrusted to you? And how might you use it to serve others?

Sometimes we hesitate to ask God for what we need. We may think we should handle things ourselves, or that our needs are too small to matter. But Jesus teaches us something different. Our Father invites us to ask, seek, and knock. Why? Because He gives us not just what we need, but what is best. He offers us the gift of His Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13)โHis presence with us in person.
What might change if you truly believed that your heavenly Father delights in giving to you? Today, bring your needs before Him, not reluctantly but expectantly.

How can one never thirst again? Itโs hard to imagine what that would feel like, especially with Singaporeโs hot and humid weather.
However, Jesus offers something special: living water. Water that will not leave us wanting. A drink that truly satisfies (John 4:13โ14).
What kinds of wells are you drinking from today? Where do you go to find satisfaction? Jesus told the Samaritan woman, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked Him and he would have given you living waterโ (v. 10).

We often think of gifts as things we receive, but Godโs greatest gift is a person: Jesus. John 3:16 reminds us of a truth so familiar that we can easily overlook its depth. God loves a world that does not love Him back. He shows His love by giving His very bestโHis Son.
Yet this gift calls for a response: to believe in the gift and to rely on Him. To believe in Jesus isnโt just to agree with facts about Him, but to place your life in His hands. This is the heart of the gospel, and the greatest gift we can ever receive.

Itโs easy to credit ourselves for the good things in lifeโour effort, planning, ability... But Scripture redirects our perspective: every good and perfect gift comes from above (Jas 1:16โ18). People may give imperfectly. Circumstances may change. But Godโs goodness doesnโt fluctuateโHis nature is steady and His gifts are always good.
Take a moment to reflect: what good things in your life have you received? Big or small, seen or unseenโthey all begin with Him. When we recognise God as the source of all good, we grow in gratitude and trust.
