Inaugurated and unveiled the stone plaque of the new building of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, Nashik’s Karmayogi Dulaji Sitaram Patil College of Agriculture at Chachadgaon, Taluka Dindori. Karmaveer Raosaheb Thorat laid the foundation of the 'Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj', with the principle of 'Bahujan Hitaya, Bahujan Sukhaya,'. The institution has made a significant contribution to the educational and social development of Nashik district. Strengthening agricultural research and ensuring that its benefits reach farmers is therefore essential. Given its facilities, this college has the potential to become a leading centre for agricultural research and innovation in Nashik. Agricultural research must move beyond the college campus and reach the fields, creating tangible benefits for farmers. This is particularly important as 80% of Maharashtra’s farmers are small landholders. To support farmers for improving productivity, ‘Mahavistaar App’ is developed using AI for the first time in the country to provide guidance across the entire crop cycle and answers to their questions in multiple languages. The State Government will extend all necessary cooperation to address the challenges faced by the Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj. The School Education Department has also initiated the recruitment process for 30,000 teachers and 5000 non-teaching staff members. I am confident that the institution will continue its excellent work and further strengthen its contribution to the field of education.
