If the move is completed, the British IGL will take up captaincy duties from Håvard "rain" Nygaard, who is expected to transition to a different role within the team. 100 Thieves is rain's first long-term project as an IGL after he briefly captained G2 all the way back in 2015.
The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the most sought-after young IGLs in the scene after an impressive season that culminated with Monte qualifying for the IEM Cologne Major.

Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov, the latest addition to the team, could also move to the North American organization in a transfer deal, while IGL Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen is in talks to join a different project, sources said.
The team is expected to be captained by Lucas "lux" Meneghini, who, as Dust2 Brasil reported in April, has been locked in talks with Luminosity. lux was moved to Legacy's bench in February before the Brazilian organization signed Andrei "arT" Piovezan.
