Former 🇺🇸 Complexity owner and CEO Jason Lake announced that the organization has shut down after making the decision to wind down operations at the end of 2025.
"We surveyed the landscape, surveyed where the business was at, and prospects for raising capital to pay off the seller-held note, and decided the best thing to do was to shut it down in an orderly and professional way, rather than crashing it into the sun as sometimes we see with other organizations," Lake said in a video on X. "So for the first time in 23 years, myself and my core team of coworkers are no longer a part of Complexity. Which... feels weird to say, but that is where we're at, and I wanted to kind of make it official and wrap this thing up and tie it in a bow."

| 5 |  +2⚙️ Valve has shipped a new update to Counter-Strike 2, making changes to the Premier map selection process, adding a new 3v3 "Rush" game mode, and implementing several gameplay tweaks.
The most significant among them is the introduction of a silent reload, which can be done by holding your reload key and comes with the cost of a longer reload time.
Unscoping a sniper rifle also no longer makes a sound, and the visual impact of bullet decals and blood has been increased. The pixel gap at Balcony looking into Palace on Mirage has also been fixed alongside a few other map tweaks.
Clan tags have returned, and the crosshair system has been overhauled to include new settings.

[PREMIER]
- Updated the map selection process to give players more opportunities to play maps they've been learning.
- Map selection process:
- Team 1 picks one map
- Team 2 picks two maps
- Team 1 picks a final map.
- One of the four maps will be randomly selected and the match will begin.
[RUSH]
- Rush is a fast-paced queued 3v3 game mode.
- Players battle through a series of battle arenas to reach the opponent's castle and win the match.
- Battle arenas are randomly selected for each match, so no two matches are the same.
- Control the tower when you eliminate the enemy team (or time expires) to win the round.
[GAMEPLAY]
- Players can now reload silently (but slowly) by pressing and holding the reload key.
- Un-scoping a sniper weapon no longer produces a sound.
- Globally increased visual clarity and improved fidelity of bullet impact decals.
- ammo_grenade_limit_total setting now also enforces the total number of grenades a player is allowed to purchase in a round.
- Chickens now take damage from the Zeus x27.
[SETTINGS]
- Crosshairs have been updated to be resolution independent.
- A new "Crosshair/Scopes" tab is available in the Settings menu, and includes updated crosshair settings.
- Added new crosshair styles
- Updated the default crosshair to "Dynamic Quad," which better represents weapon accuracy.
[ENGINE]
- Updated engine code to the latest version of Source 2.
[MAPS]

-Fixed holes in world in Long A Main Hall.
- Adjusted door geometry and grenade clipping inside Jaguar.

- Added ability to set a "Clan Tag" for players who are members of Steam Community Groups. You can adjust your Clan Tag from your Player Profile. Added support for applying stickers to C4.
- The Starjunk 95, Industrial Sunset Memories Music Kit is now available for purchase in standard and StatTrak versions through the STORE tab.
- Halftime scoreboard stats should now fully reflect the results of the previous round.
- Fixed a case where players could avoid a kick ban.
- Players can now adjust music volume per game-mode.

- Added "minimap_volume" entity which enables a custom minimap image when a player is within the volume.
- Added "sky_camera_volume" and "sky_camera_volume_target", which enable custom location-specific skybox rendering.

| 6 |  🇧🇿 BC.Game have announced the signing of Tyson "asap" Paterson from THUNDER dOWNUNDER to replace the recently benched Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, confirming an earlier HLTV report.
The most significant aspect of the move is that it will change BC.Game's regional affiliation in the VRS from Europe to Asia, with asap joining Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold and Ayush "mzinho" Batbold to form a majority-Asian core.
Prior to this transfer BC.Game's chances of making PGL Major Singapore were low as they currently sit in 36th place on the Europe VRS, with spots on offer to the top 18. Their 1,191 points would, however, currently put them in fourth place on the Asian VRS, from which five teams will receive invites to Singapore.

Sources have further indicated that the team is close to unveiling THUNDER dOWNUNDER's Tyson "asap" Paterson as the Russian's replacement.
When asked about the move, the organization's CEO, Ali Muhanned, did not confirm the new player but said the decision was made with the upcoming PGL Singapore Major invitation deadline in early November in mind.
"electroNic has been one of the most important people in the team off and on the server," the CEO told HLTV. "He has been the positive guy actually, and I would say people should not trust social media or clips. He is funny and the guy that jokes around with his teammates and that also keep the guys in good vibes when needed.
"But as the CEO I must take difficult decisions, and this is a major decision that needs to be done for the project," he said. "It has nothing to do with electroNic. If we had more time for the Major, I would have actually given him more time just because the team is new." | 5 028 |
