| 8 | 🇪🇺 FOKUS have announced the addition of Ricardo "JTR" Júnior as head coach, who comes in to replace Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński after he was benched earlier today as the organization opted to "move forward with a new direction for the team."
JTR arrives having made a name for himself as the coach of 🇪🇺 Nigma Galaxy from 2021-2023, during which time he oversaw the female squad's dominance of the ESL Impact scene, including wins in the first two seasons of ESL Impact and ESL Impact Valencia and Katowice.
The Portuguese coach then spent a year at the helm of 🇧🇷 ODDIK, narrowly missing out on taking the team to PGL Major Copenhagen via the Americas RMR, before serving as as assistant coach at 🇦🇺 FlyQuest from 2024-2026, briefly serving as head coach for the team at BLAST Open London 2025. | 3 806 |
| 9 | 🇪🇺 FOKUS have announced that head coach Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński has been placed on the bench, citing the decision to "move forward with a new direction for the team."
The Polish coach had been in charge of FOKUS since February, when the German organization entered Counter-Strike with a newly built international lineup captained by Erik "ztr" Gustafsson.
Currently ranked 55th in the global VRS, FOKUS have had a mixed start to the season following the summer departures of Georgi "Jorko" Mitev and Sebastian "volt" Maloș and the arrivals of Paavo "podi" Heiskanen and Jacob "jocab" Nerheden. They notably finished 9th-16th in BLAST Bounty, 17th-32nd in the EWC open qualifier, and 9th-12th at Stake Pulse Beat II.
With kuben's benching, FOKUS are now:
🇫🇮 Matias "Banjo" Kivistö
🇭🇷 Mateo "Matheos" Prišlin
🇸🇪 Erik "ztr" Gustafsson
🇫🇮 Paavo "podi" Heiskanen
🇸🇪 Jacob "jocab" Nerheden | 3 712 |
| 10 | 🇫🇷 3DMAX won Logitech G Play Connect in Warsaw on Wednesday after a five-map marathon against 🇧🇷 Luminosity in the final, earning 214 Valve points and entering the qualification zone for PGL Major Singapore as Europe's 18th-highest-ranked side.
The victory in the Polish event — their second title this month after winning NODWIN Clutch Series 11 — comes as a timely boost for the French outfit, who are reportedly on the brink of joining 🇺🇸 Envy.
The North American organization all but confirmed its return to the game in a post on X immediately after the final. | 4 096 |

| 12 | 🇧🇷 ODDIK have announced that they have suspended esports operations indefinitely and with immediate effect, which also brings an end to its Counter-Strike division.
The Brazilian organization entered CS in June 2022 and was a mainstay in South American domestic competitions, peaking at No. 28 in the HLTV rankings after an appearance at PGL Astana 2025, where they narrowly missed out on a playoff spot.
ODDIK were:
🇧🇷 Diogo "diozera" Oliveira Nunes (benched)
🇧🇷 Gustavo "nardes" Henrique (benched)
🇦🇷 Sebastian "righi" Righi (released)

| 13 | Former 🇺🇸 Complexity owner and CEO Jason Lake announced that the organization has shut down after making the decision to wind down operations at the end of 2025.
"We surveyed the landscape, surveyed where the business was at, and prospects for raising capital to pay off the seller-held note, and decided the best thing to do was to shut it down in an orderly and professional way, rather than crashing it into the sun as sometimes we see with other organizations," Lake said in a video on X.
"So for the first time in 23 years, myself and my core team of coworkers are no longer a part of Complexity. Which... feels weird to say, but that is where we're at, and I wanted to kind of make it official and wrap this thing up and tie it in a bow." | 4 604 |

| 17 | ⚙️ Valve has shipped a new update to Counter-Strike 2, making changes to the Premier map selection process, adding a new 3v3 "Rush" game mode, and implementing several gameplay tweaks.
The most significant among them is the introduction of a silent reload, which can be done by holding your reload key and comes with the cost of a longer reload time.
Unscoping a sniper rifle also no longer makes a sound, and the visual impact of bullet decals and blood has been increased. The pixel gap at Balcony looking into Palace on Mirage has also been fixed alongside a few other map tweaks.
Clan tags have returned, and the crosshair system has been overhauled to include new settings.
You can read the patch notes in full below:

| 18 | 🇧🇿 BC.Game have announced the signing of Tyson "asap" Paterson from THUNDER dOWNUNDER to replace the recently benched Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, confirming an earlier HLTV report.
The most significant aspect of the move is that it will change BC.Game's regional affiliation in the VRS from Europe to Asia, with asap joining Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold and Ayush "mzinho" Batbold to form a majority-Asian core.
Prior to this transfer BC.Game's chances of making PGL Major Singapore were low as they currently sit in 36th place on the Europe VRS, with spots on offer to the top 18. Their 1,191 points would, however, currently put them in fourth place on the Asian VRS, from which five teams will receive invites to Singapore.
BC.Game are now:
🇺🇦 Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev
🇲🇳 Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold
🇲🇳 Ayush "mzinho" Batbold
🇩🇰 Emil "Magisk" Reif
🇦🇺 Tyson "asap" Paterson
🇵🇱 Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas (coach) | 5 222 |
| 19 | Denis "electroNic" Sharipov has been placed on 🇧🇿 BC.Game's bench, the organization has announced.
Sources have further indicated that the team is close to unveiling THUNDER dOWNUNDER's Tyson "asap" Paterson as the Russian's replacement.
When asked about the move, the organization's CEO, Ali Muhanned, did not confirm the new player but said the decision was made with the upcoming PGL Singapore Major invitation deadline in early November in mind.
"electroNic has been one of the most important people in the team off and on the server," the CEO told HLTV. "He has been the positive guy actually, and I would say people should not trust social media or clips. He is funny and the guy that jokes around with his teammates and that also keep the guys in good vibes when needed.
"But as the CEO I must take difficult decisions, and this is a major decision that needs to be done for the project," he said. "It has nothing to do with electroNic. If we had more time for the Major, I would have actually given him more time just because the team is new." | 5 324 |
