The developments in Abu Dhabi point to an increasingly intense regional push centred on Iran and Ansar Allah. Netanyahu arrived in Abu Dhabi with a senior Israeli security delegation and held an extended meeting with Mohammed bin Zayed, with Iran reportedly at the heart of the discussions. Immediately afterwards, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met the Emirati leadership, while Saudi Arabia moved to bring senior Emirati officials to Riyadh. The timing and concentration of these meetings are striking, particularly as tensions surrounding Iran, Yemen and the Gulf continue to rise.
The emerging focus appears to be broader than Iran alone. It includes efforts to contain Iran’s regional influence while putting greater pressure on Ansar Allah in Yemen. Israel has made Iran a central security concern, Saudi Arabia remains directly concerned with Ansar Allah, and the UAE has extensive involvement in Yemen as well as close strategic relations with Israel and Saudi Arabia. The convergence of these interests creates the conditions for much deeper coordination on intelligence, maritime security, airspace, Yemen, the Strait of Hormuz and the movement of military and strategic resources.
The sequence is especially significant: Netanyahu arrives with his senior security team, Iran reportedly dominates his discussions with Mohammed bin Zayed, Fidan arrives immediately afterwards, and Saudi Arabia then seeks direct consultations with the Emirati leadership. This is not an isolated diplomatic meeting. It is a concentrated period of regional activity involving several of the most important actors surrounding the Iran-Yemen confrontation.
The possibility of coordination against Iran and Ansar Allah therefore deserves close attention. Any move in this direction could involve intelligence sharing, surveillance, maritime arrangements, pressure on supply networks, political pressure on Yemen and preparations for further military escalation. The Strait of Hormuz would be particularly important because any confrontation there could rapidly affect the entire Gulf security environment.
What is developing in Abu Dhabi should consequently be watched as part of a much larger regional picture: Iran on one side, and an increasingly interconnected network of Israel, Persian Gulf states and other regional powers seeking to contain Iranian influence and restrict Ansar Allah on the other. The coming meetings in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh may reveal whether this remains diplomatic coordination or develops into something considerably more consequential.

On the thirtieth day of this month, our resistant Iraqi people will celebrate the expulsion of the American and NATO occupation forces from Iraq at the hands of their brave sons from the Islamic Resistance. The celebration will be a popular embodiment reflecting the people's rally around the Iraqi Resistance, and from here we point out the following:
First: Expelling the defeated occupation forces from the land of Iraq is the beginning of achieving complete sovereignty in the country over land, water, and sky, and independence for political and economic decision-making by God's permission (“And if you return, We will return”).
Second: Let those who confront the governmental and political scene in Iraq know:
A- Our proud people know who is hiding behind some governmental decisions to pass what they are ashamed to adopt publicly, which is counted against the entity leading the policymaking in the country.
B- This government was formed with the planning of three allies, even if they differed among themselves. Among them are those who are foundationally behind sedition and war between brothers in religion and homeland, and they must know that we know what is behind closed doors and they should learn from history.
C- Let Mr. Al-Sudani and whoever stands behind him know: the government that does not work for the benefit of the people, work will be done to bring it down through various means.
Third: If the air blockade on the Islamic Republic of Iran continues after October 1st of this year, our proud people will have a clear stance that may reach closing the border crossings of the countries participating in the blockade of the faithful Iranian people.
Fourth: The victorious Islamic Resistance will monitor Iraqi airspace to ensure it is not violated by hostile aviation. We will warn first, and we will work to shoot it down second. The Prime Minister's office, known for its leadership, must not act as a cash register for American violations after October 1, 2026.
