🔍 Found a fun one while cross-checking our rate data against another aggregator's feed.
One exchange's savings rates were inflated exactly 3.65x — across every single one of 112 coins we compared.
📊 Their number for USDT savings: 9.12%
✅ The actual rate on the exchange: 2.5%
Classic bug: someone annualized a daily rate and forgot to divide by 100. It's been live for who knows how long, quietly feeding comparison sites and screenshots people trade on.
Nobody noticed — because yield data mostly gets copied, not verified.
That's why we hand-check platform pages daily, every rate graded A-F: https://yieldscope.io/en/
Not financial advice.
| 2 | The best crypto yield I found in 60 days of tracking isn't 499% APY.
It's 5.5% 🐢
Since May 25 I've logged 44,296 rates across 37 platforms. Here's what the data says:
🚀 126 rates spiked above 60% APY
☠️ 2 out of 3 were dead within 24 hours
🪦 The record — 499% — lived exactly ONE day
📉 Yesterday's fresh 365% on $ZIL? It's 13% this morning
Meanwhile, on the boring side:
😴 A THIRD of all rates (458!) never moved at all
🐢 USDT at 5.5% on Kraken — 30 straight days without a change. Just quietly paying, every day.
Flashy number = bait 🎣
Boring number = pay 💰
What's the longest you've ever seen a 100%+ APY survive? My record: 12 days 👇 | 13 |
| 3 | One exchange printed THREE fresh 365% APYs this morning 🖨️
🆕 $ZIL — was 1.0% yesterday, 365% today
🆕 RIF — was 1.29% yesterday, 365% today
🆕 RE — our all-time record holder (499% in June), back on the line
Before you ape in, ask the previous batch how it went:
🪦 GWEI — held 365% for 12 straight days, cut to 160% today
🪦 T — ran 365% since Jul 19, quietly delisted this morning
🪦 BONK — 101% yesterday, 44% today
Same printer, same script, new tickers. Meanwhile the boring shelf hasn't moved: USDS 7.08% (WhiteBit, B), USDT 5.5% (Kraken, B — day 29), SOL 6% (Gemini, B) 🐢 | 13 |
| 4 | Nobody announces a base-rate cut. We caught five this week 🔍
⬇️ Ledn: USDT & USDC 6.5% → 5.0% (new tier for deposits under $100K)
⬇️ Uphold: SOL staking 6.05% → 4.95%
⬇️ Kraken: ETH 2.37% → 2.31%, SOL 5.95% → 5.92%
⬇️ Coinbase: ETH & SOL trimmed too
Meanwhile the promo printer is doing its thing 🖨️ T at 365%, POLYX born today at 354%, and GWEI finally melting (330%) after 12 straight days at 365%.
Worst hit this week: $SOL — two platforms cut it in the same seven days.
The signal isn't the fireworks — it's the quiet column. Base yield is repricing down. The graded survivors are still up: USDS 7.08% (WhiteBit, B), USDT 5.5% (Kraken, B, day 28).
Not financial advice.
#Stablecoins | 12 |
| 5 | 🗺️ Weekly rate map — what changed across 34 platforms, July 13–20, and where the sane money parks now.
🐢 Where to park (A/B-graded only):
🟢 USDS on WhiteBit (B) — 7.08%, unchanged 3+ weeks
🟢 USDT on Kraken (B) — 5.5%, day 27 without a change
🟢 USDS on Bitget (A) — 5.0%
🟢 SOL staking on Kraken (B) — 5.95%
🟢 ETH staking on Gemini (B) — 3.0%
⬆️ Moved up this week:
📈 Bybit quietly raised USDT and USDC: 3.75% → 4.0% — the most meaningful hike of the week from a big exchange (grade C, mind you)
📈 Bitfinex USDT: 9.14% → 9.49% — juicy, but grade D; that premium is the risk premium
📈 ZK on Gate 4.8% → 18.1% and QTUM on OKX 12.1% → 34.6% — fresh spikes; our tracking says these rarely survive their first days
⬇️ Moved down this week:
📉 Kraken trimmed ETH staking: 2.37% → 2.31%
📉 RPL on Binance: 19.9% → 6.9%
📉 BLUR on Bitget: 29.4% → 4.3% and LAB on Gate: 24.8% → 5.5% — last week's promos, fully deflated
₿ BTC: still max ~1.4% on any A/B platform. BTC yield remains structurally tiny — anyone offering you much more is charging you risk for it.

| 6 | 📋 Yesterday we told you most fresh 60%+ APYs die within a day. Here's the 24-hour scoreboard from our own tracking:
☠️ GAS on Bitget: 206% → 9%
☠️ DATA on Bitget: 81% → 25% — that's 275% → 25% in just two days
☠️ AERO on Bitget: flat at 22%, down from 100% on Jul 17
🟡 BONK on OKX: 59% → 71% — the only survivor, still at half its peak
🖨️ And here's the part that makes it a system, not an accident: while those four were dying, the same exchange printed a brand-new batch this morning — NEO 365%, T 365%, QTUM 61%. Same playbook, new tickers.
🐢 Meanwhile USDT on Kraken (grade B) paid 5.5% for the 26th day in a row. It will never trend. It just pays.
💡 The takeaway: a huge APY isn't income, it's a countdown. If your plan depends on a rate staying alive longer than a day — that's not a plan.
🔎 Every rate, tracked daily and graded A–F: https://yieldscope.io/en/stablecoins/
📊 How we grade platforms: https://yieldscope.io/en/transparency/ | 21 |
| 7 | ⏳ High yield has a shelf life — and it's measured in hours. Here's what 24 hours did to real flexible-earn rates (Jul 17 → Jul 18, our tracking):
🔻 DATA on Bitget: 275% → 81%
🔻 BONK on OKX: 128% → 59%
🔻 AERO on Bitget: 100% → 22%
🚀 GAS on Bitget: 1% → 206% — a brand-new rocket, and the clock is already ticking
📊 The pattern from our daily data: ~7 in 10 fresh 60%+ APYs don't survive their first day. These rates are marketing budgets and short-lived subsidies, not income you can plan around. If you see the screenshot, you're probably already late.
🐢 The other side of the same 24 hours: USDT on Kraken (grade B) — 5.5% → 5.5%, unchanged for 25 straight days. Nobody screenshots it. It just pays.

| 8 | 📉 A war just shook the markets — here's the week in numbers, and what it means if you earn on crypto.
What happened:
🔻 The US–Iran war reignited — strikes, a blockade of Iran's ports, oil spiking
🔻 Korea's KOSPI fell 9.95% on Jul 13 (trading fully halted), −6.37% on the 16th
📈 The Bank of Korea hiked rates to 2.75% — first hike in 3.5 years
💥 ~$286M in forced liquidations on Upbit in a single day
And over the same week, the crypto a saver actually holds:
🟢 Bitcoin: −0.2%
🟢 Ethereum: +4.8%
🟢 Safe stablecoin rates (grade A/B): 5–5.5%, paying like nothing happened
💡 The lesson is old: when stocks halted, money didn't flee crypto — it rushed in (Upbit volume ~+1,400%). The $286M that got wiped out were leveraged bets. Plain savings can't be liquidated. In a storm, the grade matters more than the APY. 🐢

| 9 | 🚨 Pattern watch: HOME is back at 365% — and last time this pattern showed up, it ended with a −40% day.
📼 The first time, June 7:
🔸 Bybit raised HOME's earn rate to 236→292%
🔸 Next day: 750M token unlock (~20% of supply)
🔸 Price: −40% overnight
📼 The rerun, today:
🔸 Bitget: 30% → 168% → 365% in 48h
🔸 Bybit: 5% → 45% the same day
🔸 HOME price since June: −73%
🔬 We don't know what the exchanges know. We even checked the public unlock calendars — no major HOME unlock is listed for this week, which makes the double rate-spike stranger, not safer. In our 51-day archive, extreme rates cluster right before painful token events — unlocks, insider exits, delistings. A 300%+ rate preceded a >10% price drop in 42% of cases.
💡 When a rate looks like a gift, ask who's paying for it.
✔️Every rate, graded A–F, updated daily: https://yieldscope.io/ | 25 |
| 10 | 🎢 What does a 365% APY actually look like? Same coins, same exchange, six days of daily snapshots:
🔸 DATA: 28 → 365 → 8 → 131 → 2 → 365%
🔸 ALLO: 1 → 1 → 64 → 365 → 73 → 199%
🔸 ICNT: 131 → 58 → 28 → 72 → 277 → 64%
🔸 LAB: 365 × four days → 8 → 129% (price did −74% meanwhile 💀)
🔬 And the cleanest case study of the week — GWEI on Bitget: a flat 365% for SEVEN days straight, we verified it against Bitget's live API today. Same week, GWEI's price: $0.0865 → $0.0469, that's −46%. Interest earned: +6%. Net if you bought in for the rate: ≈ −40%.
🤔 Why would an exchange pay 365% and not go broke?
🧢 The pool is capped — the banner rate covers the first few hundred dollars, the rest earns the base ~1%
🩳 Shorts pay high fees to borrow falling tokens — your earn deposit is what they borrow; the exchange shares a slice with you
🪤 The 365% banner itself is marketing — it prints sign-ups, and it's paid in a token that's melting anyway
📊 We ran 51 days of our own archive: when a rate shows 300%+, the coin's price falls >10% the next day in 42% of cases. For calm 30–60% rates it's 3%.
💡 At the extreme end the rate isn't yield — it's compensation. The boring 5% on USDT quietly beat every coin on this card.

| 11 | 🎠 The carousel keeps spinning: DATA just hit 365% APY for the THIRD time in five days.
Spike → collapse → refill → repeat. The reward pool got topped up overnight — again.
And last night's timers hit zero on schedule:
📉 MINA — 50% → 1% overnight (Bitget, A)
📉 JST — 63% → 34% (Bitget, A)
The boring anchor 🟢 USDT at 5.5% on Kraken (B) hasn't moved in six days.

| 12 | 🧟 The dead rates came back.
DATA collapsed to 11.7% on Saturday. This morning it's at 365% again. BLUR — same story, third run this week. Same coins, same venue, same bait.
Meanwhile yesterday's climbers did what timers do:
📉 ALLO — 64% → 1% overnight (Bitget, A-rated venue)
📉 LPT — 73% → 10% (Bitget, A)
📉 ENJ — 30% → 1% (Bitget, A)
That's four days and four collapses we called in advance.
A rate that dies and resurrects on a schedule is a marketing dial, not yield. The A–F grade (A safest, F avoid) tells you the venue won't lose your coins — it says nothing about the rate surviving the night.
The boring anchor 🟢 USDT at 5.5% on Kraken (B-rated): five days, same number.
Not financial advice. Higher rate ≈ higher risk. | 35 |
| 13 | 😎Today:
📉 ICNT — 131% → 34% (Bitget, A-rated venue)
📉 BARD — 69% → 46% (OKX, B-rated)
📉 ONT — 57% → 34% (OKX, B-rated)
And the board already set new ones:
🚀 DATA — 28% → 297% overnight (Bitget, A)
🚀 IOTA — third day climbing: 23% → 75% → 121% (OKX, 😎
🚀 BLUR — died on Bybit at 2.7%, reborn at 29% on Bitget
Quick decoder: A–F is a safety report card for the venue — A is safest, F means avoid. The grade tells you the platform passed our checks. It says nothing about the rate surviving the week.
Meanwhile the boring anchor 🟢 USDT at 5.5% on Kraken (B-rated) — same number three days straight.
Not financial advice. Higher rate ≈ higher risk.

| 14 | 🎯 Yesterday we posted GRT at 83% APY and called it "a countdown, not a gift."
It took 24 hours:
📉 GRT — 82.9% → 0.9% (Bybit, C-rated)
📉 JTO — 81.9% → 2.3% (Bybit, C-rated)
📉 BERA — 20.7% → 1.6% (Bybit, C-rated)
The exact coins we flagged yesterday dropped up to 82 points overnight. That's not bad luck — that's how teaser yields work.
Meanwhile the boring pick 🟢 USDT at 5.5% on Kraken (B-rated) paid the same 5.5% yesterday, pays it today, and will pay it tomorrow.
We grade every rate A–F for safety, so the big number never hides the risk.
Today's board 👉 https://yieldscope.io | 37 |
| 15 | 🎢 That YFI position paid 34% yesterday. This morning it pays 6%.
Not a gift — a timer. And it's not just YFI:
📉 YFI — 34% → 6% (Bybit)
📉 STG — 41% → 14% (Binance)
📉 MINA — 23% → 1.8% (Bybit)
The fattest APY on any board is a countdown. Meanwhile the boring pick — 🟢 USDT at 5.5% on Kraken (A-rated, our safest) — paid the same yesterday, today, and will next month.
We put an A–F safety grade on every number (A = safest, F = avoid), so a big green figure never hides a fragile venue.
🚀 Crypto's biggest yield right now: 211% APY on BLUR. Sounds like free money.
Here's the catch 👇
🟩 BLUR — 211% (OKX, B-rated)
🟩 BARD — 171% (OKX, B-rated)
🟨 GRT — 83% (Bybit, C-rated) — paid 0.8% yesterday
🟨 JTO — 82% (Bybit, C-rated) — also 0.8% yesterday
GRT and JTO 100×'d their rate overnight, and not one of the top four is A-rated. A 211% today can be single digits tomorrow — the big number is always a countdown.
We grade every rate A–F (A = safest, F = avoid), so the risk sits right next to the reward.

💥 DEEP · Bybit: 51.7% → 1.2% (−50.5pp)
💥 GLM · Binance: 60.7% → 10.2% (−50.5pp)
🚨 BARD · OKX: 33.7% → 72.0% (+38.3pp) — the NEXT timer, already ticking

| 19 | 😎SAFE on Bybit went from paying 1.3% to 68.7% APY.

⚡ DEEP · Bybit: 0.8% → 51.7% (+51pp)
