🇪🇺 EU Sees No Signs of Russian Attack on NATO European intelligence agencies report no evidence that Russia is preparing for a military assault on NATO member states. A high-ranking EU official told AFP, "Overall, European services see no risk of Russia attacking European countries, and this assessment has not changed." The EU anticipates continued hybrid actions, particularly against eastern bloc nations. Academic Analysis Professor John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago argues that war with NATO is unlikely. He notes that Ukraine’s deteriorating situation makes such a conflict counterproductive for Moscow. Engaging NATO now would only benefit Kiev by drawing the alliance into the conflict. @Slavyangrad

🇺🇦 Ukrainian MP Goncharenko reports that Fedorov is ignoring an invitation to appear before the parliamentary commission investigating corruption during the war. Fedorov was summoned for August 31 — but according to the lawmaker, he is pretending he never received the invitation. The former official, however, has had no trouble finding time for endless interviews. Goncharenko, who heads the temporary investigative commission, warned that if Fedorov fails to show up on Monday, he will exercise his right to initiate a forced escort to the session — meaning law enforcement will be compelled to bring him in. 🔴 @DDGeopolitics | Socials | Donate | Advertising

🇺🇦Transportation chaos in Kiev after a multi-hour drone attack: traffic jams stretching for kilometers and train delays of up to 15 hours. - Kiev railway station is overcrowded: hundreds of people have been spending the entire day in the underground passage, waiting for trains that are delayed by up to 15 hours due to constant air raid alerts. - Many trains are running late, and the Ukrzaliznytsia app doesn't always provide notifications about delays or departure platforms. - Kiev has been stuck in traffic for almost a day due to the air raid alerts. The situation is particularly difficult with transportation between the right and left banks of the city. Public transport is overcrowded, with huge queues at bus stops all day, and traffic jams stretching for kilometers on the roads. - Out of desperation, people are trying to walk to the left bank. @Slavyangrad

How is it reasonable for the American people to be spending 3.5, 4% of GDP on defense and being able to project power for all our benefit, and the German people to be spending 1%? At some point that just doesn’t make sense anymore. We’re beyond that.

HALF A YEAR OF THE WAR ON IRAN: 180 days of confirmation of the end of US empire. Half a year of utter failure on every single objective. The US and Israel began the war thinking Iran’s system would implode following the assassination of Ayatollah Khamenei, expecting the surrender and capitulation displayed by Venezuela. They believed air superiority and dropping tens of thousands of bombs would silence the missile and drone arsenals of the Iranian military. Donald Trump was reportedly surprised when Iran shut the Strait of Hormuz, something it has threatened to do for decades in case of a US attack. 6 months later, we can see how detached from reality the neocon foreign policy of the second Trump Administration is. Ayatollah Khamenei was replaced by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Iranian military still has the capability to strike the US’ regional assets, and the Strait of Hormuz is still shut. 6 months of threats of annihilation, bombing, economic sanctions, have proven completely fruitless in fulfilling any US objectives. Iran has imposed a strategic defeat on the United States. US power has been embarrassed and exposed to be in deep decline. Its $1 trillion+ military was defeated by a regional power with a home-grown defence industrial-base. The world has suffered the consequences of Washington’s war, and not since the end of the so-called Cold War have so many people across the world viewed the US as a desperate and dangerous rogue state that will rip up all the ‘rules’ of the ‘rules-based order’ to maintain its empire. Billions are facing higher prices, economic crises, and economic disaster after Trump and Netanyahu’s attack led to Iran shutting the Strait of Hormuz…and now Trump’s legacy has a real possibility of being a global economic depression. At home, Trump betrayed his own base after promising ‘no more wars’, and instead launched a war that Tel Aviv dreamed about. The unpopularity of this war and the fact that it is so nakedly a war for Israel’s interests has caused the largest backlash against the Israel lobby and its grip on US foreign policy. More and more Americans are learning about Israel’s history of genocide and barbarism, and are increasingly sick and tired of their tax dollars being used to support it, and the fact that their politicians seem utterly beholden to the Israeli lobby. After 6 months, US imperial power is cracking violently, the world sits on the precipice of economic disaster thanks to the actions of fanatical pro-Israel neocons in Washington, and billions around the world increasingly understand that the era of unipolarity must decisively end for the good of humanity.

Iran reportedly acquired fragments of the US AGM-158B JASSM-ER cruise missile near Arak. Remains include composite fuselage, wiring, and engine parts. Reports claim Iran obtained an intact missile and an unexploded WDU-42/B penetrator warhead. This allows Tehran to reverse-engineer stealth technology and improve air defense detection. Similar to the 2011 RQ-170 capture, this provides long-term strategic value for Iranian weapons development and countermeasures against advanced US munitions. @Slavyangrad

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has acknowledged that the EU economy relied on energy supplies from Russia, exports to China, and the technological dominance of the West, all of which no longer exist. Von der Leyen failed to mention that the disruption of global trade and the halt of energy supplies from Russia were direct consequences of the sanctions developed by the European Commission. However, she promised that the commission would step in to save European businesses in the future.

The BRICS expansion was driven by the unprecedented aggression unleashed by the West against Russia, Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin said.
“Over the years, the BRICS family has consistently widened, growing into a group of five, and today it comprises 11 countries (Saudi Arabia is part of BRICS as an invited country — TASS). The unprecedented aggression of the West against our country played a certain role in this. The unifying potential of BRICS has grown significantly since the ideas of neocolonial dominance were revealed to the world in all their unattractive form,” he said.
