Daily context check — 4 September 2026
Ten delivered plans — and now the verdict. Yesterday paid in both directions: the sell to 4,381, then the squeeze through our exact stand-down line into the exact destination zone we'd written, topping at 4,511. Today the US jobs report decides which regime owns September.
Reading it:
What happened: yesterday's map worked twice. The morning sell paid its first target and bottomed at 4,381 — then a dovish Fed speech (Waller) broke the dollar under 99 and detonated a $130 squeeze that blew through our published switch line at 4,461 and delivered into the 4,480 – 4,500 seller zone the plan had named in advance, topping at 4,511. That zone has already pushed price back $48. Why it matters: the market now sits at the exact hinge of the whole month — the falling trend line, the broken structure level and the price itself all within five dollars around 4,463 – 4,467 — hours before the US jobs report at 12:30 UTC (forecast 55K, after last month's NEGATIVE 23K). The catch: a strong number (100K+, unemployment ≤4.0%) revives the bearish yield regime and targets 4,400 – 4,420 then 4,381; a weak one extends the rally toward 4,512 – 4,554. Nobody knows which — and the first spike after the number is usually a trap. The plan: one optional small morning trade — buy a clear bounce at 4,444 – 4,456, bank at 4,463 – 4,467 — then completely flat by 12:15 UTC. After the print: wait for the burst, wait for the pullback, only then act — and it's Friday, so everything closes before the weekend anyway.

So the rules get their strictest hour: one optional scalp in the morning, everything flat fifteen minutes before the number, zero opinions about what it 'should' be, and no trades chasing the first spike. We'll read the report calmly, let the market show its hand with a proper pullback, and go home flat for the weekend either way. Monday's plan will open in whichever world the number creates — and we'll be there, funded and unbiased, to trade it.
