Inspired by Norwegian history, this is my original pattern of Prillarguri (also spelled Prillar-Guri). She is remembered as the legendary woman who sounded her horn to warn local fighters before the Battle of Kringen in 1612, helping the farmers of Gudbrandsdalen defeat the Scottish mercenaries marching north. She stands as a symbol of courage, local pride, and the strength of my valley’s people. ᛟ

Just finished a custom ordered woolen brown and red winter scarf with hemmed edges. I love its warm and soft feel while it's also incredibly lightweight. Woven in a classic twill, this is the first in a series of similar scarves, which will all have hemmed edges instead of tassels, as requested by the menfolk! ⚡
Thank you for your support!

This original beaded pendant pattern draws inspiration from the Överhogdal tapestries. Rediscovered in 1909 in Sweden, these surviving textiles date back to the late Viking Age. For this design I focused on the prominent Yggdrasil motif, the World Tree often interpreted as a herald to Ragnarök. My design is my own artistic interpretation and not a direct copy of the artifact. However I did remain faithful to the original palette by keeping the distinctive red, gold, and blue colors seen within the tapestry.
