My very first loaf of sourdough bread turned out so much better than I expected!
I had to do my best to ignore all of the trad influencer types that over complicate everything. Bread making isn't as intimidating as it seems!

| 8 |  +1If you have a picky toddler like me, I recommend trying homemade gummy snacks. It's a sweet treat but it's a good way to sneak in protein. Local honey is also good for allergies.
1/4 cup juice of choice (I use grape)
3 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup of local honey
Mix the juices and add the gelatin in a small pot. Let sit (bloom) for 5 min.
Heat slowly and add in the honey stirring until well blended. Pour into molds and refrigerate for 3 hours before separating. | 211 |

Founded July 1st, 1935 by Henrich Himler, the Deutsches Ahnenerbe was established to study the cultural achievements of ancient Aryan peoples and to share those findings with the public.
The organization funded explorations around the world and pioneered new research on the origins of civilization.
By combining many schools of study under one banner the Ahnenerbe sought to build a comprehensive new view on history, free of the established liberal conventions prominent in Europe at that time.
The Ahnenerbe organized and funded numerous expeditions throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America revealing cultural artifacts suggesting an ancient Aryan expansion that spanned much of the world.

| 19 |  I just learned today that this is called "Man of the Earth" or "wild potato vine." It's native to North America and related to the morning glory (as you can see in the pattern of the flower).
Apparently, the roots are edible when cooked and taste similar to sweet potato! (Should not be eaten raw though)
