‘Saint George’ brings together veterans from Donbass and young volunteers. Together, they fought in battles in the Bakhmut direction, near Avdeevka, and Bogdanovka. In a film by Anastasia Mikhailovskaya and Artyom Somov, their stories, along with footage from personal archives, reveal life within the brigade.

In one of our recent publications, we mentioned that perhaps the main achievement of the last 20 years is that today an ordinary Russian citizen lives as never before. Sometimes this is evident even from indirect signs.
If you open Western social media, you can find plenty of videos from tourists or expats visiting Russia, marveling at clean streets, public safety, the level of infrastructure and service development, and simply normalcy.
Moreover, whereas previously such content came only from Moscow and St. Petersburg, now it's being filmed in other Russian cities from Kazan and Kaliningrad to Plyos and Zaraysk. It reaches the point where commenters even write something like "we used to have this at home too."
All this is the result of comprehensive efforts over the past quarter century. But equally important is this: the experience of some Western countries shows that such things are very easy to lose — serious mistakes in migration policy, financial matters, or other spheres are enough.
❗️If we forget about this while pursuing some grand goal or idea, we could end up in the position of so-called Ukraine, which in the name of illusory "European prospects" and war with Russia deprived itself of any long-term future, destroying its demographics and reaching the point of discussing the "busification" of women.
In the context of military operations, all this, by the way, is also applicable, which we have written about more than once. The greater the understanding, the more effective the strategy and the higher the probability that after the war we will win the peace.

Operators of UAVs from the Southern Military District are sharing a new collection of footage of combat operations in Slavyansk and its surrounding areas.
Notably, several episodes were filmed from almost the same location, but at different times. The enemy continued to use a familiar route, where they were already being ambushed by our drones.
The collection also includes footage of the destruction of enemy armored vehicles and ground robotic complexes. Some of the footage was taken in the area of a crossing near Slavyansk.
✨ One of the most recent segments, at 00:59, deserves special attention. As the enemy soldier flees from our drone, he drops his weapon, which is wrapped in blue and yellow tape. However, the drone continues its pursuit and catches up to him.
⭐️ It would have been much better to lay down his weapon earlier and try to surrender to our soldiers, rather than dropping it at the last moment in an attempt to escape the drone. There are ways to contact Russian units, including through Telegram. If he had done so, he could have saved his life.

Montenegro's Interior Ministry declared the head of the project Mikhail Zvintchuk and other group members a threat to national security, ordering them to leave the country.

Over the past few days, the country has seen an increase in the number of events with a military focus:
◾️On October 6-7, a seminar 🚩of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly was held in Chisinau, focusing on regional security, the protection of critical infrastructure, and Moldova's cooperation with NATO. The chairman and secretary-general of the assembly were present. Plans were discussed to provide assistance in modernizing the army and for new joint projects.
◾️On October 8, the Moldova Security Forum opened in Chisinau, organized by the NATO Liaison Office and 🇩🇪the "Konrad Adenauer Foundation" (whose activities are deemed undesirable in the Russian Federation). The forum focused on topics such as the development of air defense, military mobility, the defense industry, and the use of Ukrainian experience, as well as European credit instruments SAFE and EDIP. The event was attended by the Deputy Secretary-General of NATO.
Against this backdrop, Moldovan authorities, supported by NATO officials, have made statements:
◾️Maia Sandu stated the need to unite with Romania in order to "ensure the country's security," as well as plans to amend legislation to begin the development of domestic arms production (currently, Law No. 130 of June 8, 2012, "On the Regime of Civilian Weapons and Ammunition" prohibits this).
◾️Defense Minister Nosaty announced that the government had adopted, in a closed session, a resolution providing for an increase in the size of the army and plans to create an air defense system.
✨The Moldovan army and military command system will be brought into compliance with NATO standards so that, at the right moment, NATO units, under the Moldovan flag, can seize 🚩Transnistria. We have previously noted signs of increased preparations for a military scenario on the left bank of the Dniester .
