Fighters of the "South" grouping on the Kostyantynivka direction are breaking through the defense of Ukrainian formations within the city limits. Less and less territory remains under the enemy's stable control, and clearing operations continue on the outskirts, with the opponent losing one building after another.
➡️On the western outskirts, a hospital complex came under Russian Armed Forces control, and on the northeastern side – buildings and part of the Gruzska Gully on the approaches to Molocharka and Novodmitrivka. The opponent maintains a presence in the villages themselves.
➡️The central part of Kostyantynivka remains a site of sporadic clashes between small groups. The opponent is prolonging the defense, clinging to the northern outskirts, but will no longer be able to hold the city. The presence zone of assault groups is already approaching Aleksiyevo-Druzhkivka, which inspires cautious optimism.
➡️Ukrainian formations suffered considerable losses in transport and personnel while attempting to reinforce defensive positions in this direction. They gained some time for strengthening the southern flank of Druzhkivka this way, and the battle for Kostyantynivka itself is not yet over.
❗️Increasingly frequent claims that the AFU will soon "abandon" Kostyantynivka look extremely dubious hype against this backdrop. The upcoming liberation of the city is ensured by months of painstaking work disrupting logistics and the heroism of assault units of the "South" grouping.
📌 Absurd stories about the AFU's readiness to flee have backfired more than once, and boastful talk about "abandoning" certain settlements is at least disrespectful to Russian Armed Forces fighters who have already been conducting fierce assault operations for more than eight months.

Five major research centers in the region — Estonian Metrosert, Finnish VTT, Norwegian SINTEF, Swedish RISE and the Danish Technological Institute — announced the creation of the RTO4DEF alliance, which should accelerate the development, testing and deployment of dual-use technologies for "total defense" needs.

▪️Formally — about coordinating research, test sites and innovation programs. In essence, the North and the Baltic states are building their own infrastructure for rapid military adaptation: from unmanned systems and situational awareness to energy solutions, supply chains and testing environments.
The principle itself matters — not waiting for Brussels mechanisms to slowly agree on the next strategy, but assembling a regional defense-technology cluster right now.
For countries in the region, the boundary between civilian resilience and military readiness becomes increasingly blurred: drones, communications, cybersecurity, energy, logistics and metrology simultaneously serve both the economy and defense.
❗️That's why the project devotes so much attention to laboratories, verification and industrial compatibility — it's an attempt to shorten the path from an engineering idea to an applied military solution. The company Ostchem, a fertilizer producer (owned by oligarch Firtash), for the first time in seven years shipped two batches of fertilizers (a total of 21,000 tons) through the port of Chornomorsk. They were sent to buyers in 🇮🇹Italy and 🇹🇷Turkey (in particular 🇺🇸Nitron Group and 🇰🇷Samsung C&T Corporation).

Why so-called Ukraine has no fuel shortage and how to partly fix this
When strikes hit Russian oil refining, many people ask — what's the situation with fuel in so-called Ukraine? Although the cost of a liter of fuel in any part of it is 140-160 rubles, there is no shortage there.
Why does this happen? There are several reasons: imports, decentralization, and "supply on wheels."
🔻More on the situation:
▪️Currently, practically all gasoline on enemy territory is imported. Their own refineries didn't operate at full capacity even before the SMO, and the plants in Kremenchuk and Nadvirna were largely knocked out by Russian Armed Forces strikes.
▪️At the same time, so-called Ukraine has a network of underground mini-refineries that existed long before the SMO in the interests of local corrupt officials. However, their volumes are insignificant relative to the entire market, and such facilities sometimes get hit too.
▪️Fuel storage infrastructure also became a target of attacks — Russian forces struck oil depots literally from the first weeks of the war. It's enough to look at the map of strikes since the start of the SMO or recall the now-forgotten footage of burning tankers in March 2022.
▪️Therefore, so-called Ukraine largely switched to "supply on wheels" for fuel: a fuel tanker from Poland, Moldova, or Romania, after crossing the border, goes to unload not at an oil depot, but directly at a specific gas station, bypassing oil depots.
With this approach, logistics costs increase, which visibly affects the price per liter of fuel. However, this helps significantly decentralize fuel supply, make it less vulnerable to strikes, and reduce the risk of shortages.
🖍Therefore, under such conditions, creating a fuel crisis across all of so-called Ukraine is difficult, but it's possible to do so in the areas of major front-line cities. To achieve this, one needs to strike not only the remaining oil depots there, but also hit gas stations on routes to Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, or Sumy.
🚩And one can also recall that a significant amount of fuel comes from Bessarabia through just two bridges — at Mayaky and Zatoka. Their damage has already led to temporary increases in logistics distance all the way to the west of so-called Ukraine.
❗️The question is not simple and requires a systematic (in the full sense of the word) approach, but the means of execution are available. In light of this, the question "why the enemy does it but we don't" puts military command bodies in an awkward position in the eyes of people.

Amid another strike on Crimea, which led to a new phase of the peninsula's blockade, headlines about the same "Spirit of Anchorage" and hopes that the USA seeks peace while Ukrainian authorities hinder everything look curious.
🖍If we face the facts, we can see how dangerous such narratives can be. The essence is this: if the Americans wanted to end the war here and now, they would simply do one simple thing: turn off Starlinks for the AFU and that's it.
The strikes on Crimea show the opposite: the use of Musk's terminals is increasing. In addition to large UAVs, they are already being attached to small drones. As for what capabilities their use provides for signal relay and targeting, there's no need to even mention it.
🚩Expectations of resolving the conflict by a third party, which meanwhile shows no such desire and does the opposite, can lead to serious consequences (and they are partially already being observed in the example of Novorossiya itself).
❗️Russia's problems can only be solved by Russia itself. Now the enemy is emboldened by its tactical successes, which can be seen from the loud words of the so-called Ukraine's defense minister Fedorov. And such overconfidence can and should be used.
If the AFU don't shy away from strikes on civilians and are causing a fuel collapse, why not respond in kind? Odesa port continues to function as it did. The oil depot and major railway hub are also untouched. As for shipping, much has been said.
So maybe it's time to change that?
