| 6 | I had a voter call me yesterday. They said they filled out and took their mail ballot with them to the polling center so they could use it as a guide when voting in person at the machines.
When she was voting she noticed when she got to the section to vote for the candidate for Congress the section was missing. So she talked to one of the poll workers and they suggested she go back to see if she can find it. But she decided to go to the end of the ballot and fill out everything first and then go back. When she got done and went back she found that the vote was marked for my opponent, Linda Sanchez. She stated that she didn't vote for Linda and that she didn't see the section for the Congressional choice on the first pass through. She was able to correct it before submitting her ballot.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, our hearts rise to You this morning with thanks for the quiet mercies that find us each day. We praise You that nothing lies outside the reach of Your goodness.
We pray again before You deeply thoughtful of the precious gift of life, asking that You would guard the unborn and restore a clear vision of the beauty of children and the family as You formed them. We pray for protection over our children of all ages, in all they are taught and learn throughout life, that confusion would give way to truth.
And we look to You for provision amid rising costs and the daily pressures on our households, and we ask for Your hand of order and peace along our borders and in the places we live. Protect us from evil, dear Lord, and keep our hearts tender toward our fellow American citizen brothers and sisters. Let thoughtful love and love of country inspire our words, whatever they may be, and let the freedom to live out our faith be preserved so that generations after us may still know the joy of walking with You.
As the election draws close, we ask that a spirit of hope would rest upon those who feel the weight of these days, that they would turn out to cast their votes with courage and steadfast resolve rather than weariness.
Fill us now with the hope and with the overflowing joy we experience that rests in Christ alone. We offer this prayer today in the precious name of our Lord Jesus.

Over the weekend, the DOJ and California traded statements on the 22,000 names the DOJ provided to California that the DOJ claimed were non-residents on the voter rolls.
